Paddy Power Casino turned rogue?

Dear gambling community,

What you are going to read is a complaint against Paddy Power casino.

About six weeks back, I made a deposit of roughly 1000 GBP into the casino in question. With some luck, I turned the deposit into 6000 GBP. No bonus was involved. Soon after, I requested a withdrawal to my skrill(moneybookers) account, which was swiftly processed. So far so good.

Then things turned ugly. The next day, I found that both my skrill and paddy account are locked. After contacting both parties, I was told that my account is being investigated. Stating that my account has passed the audit, skrill has reopened my account about three weeks later. Upon logging in, I discovered that the money from paddy are gone. Paddy charged them back without my knowledge.

At that point (three weeks ago), I tried to contacted Paddy to figure what is going on. The support representative told me that the relevant department is on vacation (?) and that they will get to me later. They never did even though I urged them several times.

To me, the story seems surreal. Paddy is one of the best companies in business and I would expect far more than this from them.

Dear fellow gamblers,

Apparently they took the funds from my moneybookers account because they thought I opened multiple accounts. That simply does not add up. (Why would I open multiple accounts and then play without a bonus?) My theory is that the accusation was fabricated ex post to cover how badly the case was mishandled by the security team in the first place. In any case they are not willing to revert their initial position. At the present moment, the matter is being forwarded to the Isle of Man Gambling Supervision Commission. I will reply once they get back to me. In the mean time, I would recomment steering clear of Paddy.
