    For AskGamblers Casino Complaint Service, the year doesn't finish on 31 December. It ends mid-March when our dedicated support team breaks down the year behind us and presents us with the latest figures and achievements.

    It's that time of the year again: we're proud to give you the AGCCS Report for 2022, showcasing the figures that left us in awe, keeping records from before, and breaking some new ones!

    The first month of 2024 is officially over, and we even made it slightly longer by delaying the monthly recap for a few days. Why did we do that? We don’t know. It’s one of those things that January does to people, making us feel like it’s never going to end. But it did, and here are some events that marked the month of January.

    In January, Vermont officially opened its mobile sports betting market. Vermonters now have a chance to place their sports bets online with sports betting platforms DraftKings, FanDuel, and Fanatics Sportsbook, which got licences to operate in the state. Governor Phil Scott expects the legal online sports betting market to generate up to $7 million in revenue in the first year only.

    Another US state, Mississippi, could legalise online betting in July 2024 if House Bill 271 becomes law. Democratic Rep. Cedric Burnett brought the bill forward, and the state has a Mobile-Online Sports Betting Task Force that released a report that supports the legalisation of online sports betting and indicates the benefits to the state’s finances.

    January was also a month of milestones. The iGaming software provider 1spin4win released its 100th slot called Golden Joker 100 Hold and Win.
