Account unfairly restricted while on holiday

Hi everyone. I am not 100% sure how this website works but will try to explain my situation very clearly, if I am missing information please let me know. A little longer than 2 years ago I opened an account on Casino Winner (which was then called Kroon Casino) and I have been playing several periods since that time.

When registering, everything went fine and I had good times on this website. Until last Monday when I decided to play while on holiday. I am traveling by car and the route is Holland (my residential home) > Belgium > France > Morocco and the same way back.

During this trip I deposited a few thousand euros and decided to stop playing at a balance of 4200.50 EUR in Morocco. When I wanted to ask some information about withdrawing to my creditcard, I told the support agent I was in Morocco in case she wondered why my Ip-address is different.

Since this moment the agent was responding very slowly and to my surprise she said the following: “I do want to say that I really appreciate you already informing us that you are playing from the beautiful country Morocco. However, you are unfortunately not allowed to log in from there since we are not online in that country”. She then recommended me not to login anymore until I get back in NL (Holland).

I started asking for more information about this matter and a couple minutes later my account got restricted (couldn’t login anymore) and I had an unpleasant feeling because my balance was also out of my reach. Me myself do pay a lot of attention to the terms and conditions on forehand and when problems like these occur so I started investigating the t&c’s.

So basically the terms and conditions say the following: see chapter five in the following link https://www.casinowinner.com/en/support/terms-and-conditions.

The important part is that it says ‘not resident in Morocco.’ Now personally I know this is not the case for me because I live in the Netherlands. In the above text resident is used in a phrase with restricted countries of residence so it refers to people living in these countries. To make sure I looked up the definition.

To keep a long story short I would like my full balance at the moment (4200.50 EUR) to be sent to my creditcard/bank account for the following reasons:

1. I am not resident in Morocco, but only here for a few days on holiday as a vacationer.

Vacationer: a person who is on holiday away from where they usually live (Source: https://dictionary.cambridge.org/dictionary/english/vacationer).

2. I have been living in The Netherlands for my entire life where I also registered my account from and I am a Dutch citizen and have my residential address and basically everything in NL.

3. In a chat with a support agent of Casino Winner I was told: “you are unfortunately not allowed to log in from there since we are not online in that country”. << this is nowhere to be found in the terms and conditions which I agreed to. The t&c only says you must not be resident in *list of countries*.

To sum everything up, I have not breached the terms and conditions. Based on what the support agents say in the chats I find the t&c’s misleading and can not see that I have done something wrong. I am using this platform to get the right solution based on my arguments and hopefully get my honest earned amount of 4200.50 EUR sent to my creditcard or bank account as soon as possible.

Stay away!

- They promote bonuses which some players from certain countries can't get (even though the country is not on the exclusion list)
- Support is slow
- The bonus rules are extremely unfair to the players
- You can bet 400 euros, then get a notification that only 200 was accepted, press OK (not send rest of bet for review) and still be charged for the whole amount without any confirmation what so ever. Probably a technical problem which support has been unable to fix.
- They let players make an account and deposit a lot of money on an IP that has already been used, which will be banned whenever the player is trying to withdraw the money

(The following is based on my own experience)

I've played at 50 casinos and never met a casino which treats its customers like Casino Winner does. They do not respond to GDPR requests. If you have been playing on their sites for a few months and won a few thousand euros and was so unlucky to log in on your account ONCE at your job or at your friend's place, Casino Winner takes everything you got. Everything. They do this on a regular basis. It is very strange that a company that is owned by Betsson engage in behaviour like this. All casinos need to beware of bonus abusers, but banning and taking peoples money since they randomly got an IP that someone supposedly used before is just not OK. It seems like they do nothing to prevent it. Betsson, Nordicbet, Betsafe are all owned by the same company, and they do not engage in the same behaviour. If they would Casino Winner could ban those who should be banned, and let regular players that do not cheat or engage in a scam continue to play at their site. This is 2019, it is a shame that a so called "serious" company owned by a stock listed Swedish company operates this way. Sad for the players, and sad for the entire gaming market.

They will probably answer here that they can take a look at my case. My case is not in question here, it is the bonus rules of Casino Winner that are in question, and how they enforce those very rules. If Casino Winner wanted, they could have fixed this. They could notify or suspend an account to review it the minute a duplicate address or IP address was detected. But Casino Winner does not want this. They want players to play for months. They want players to deposit more. Then they ban them. Because one unlucky player logged into his account from his work's Wi-Fi which IP address was apparently used before. Casino Winner does nothing to notify their players about this, nor do they share a response, or evidence to back up their claim. They could of course have done that AND respecting GDPR and privacy laws.

Until Casino Winner changes their bonus rules or how they enforce them and how they deal with this issue it is impossible to give this casino a thumbs up. That is sad.

quite some good slots, been playing here for a few years now always had my withdrawals paid out

I just don't know, they seem to get more and more behind every month. There is no proper bonuses given out and one of the things thats also sad is the player points system. I've been playing here since 2015 and I reached a total of 640 player points. You get 10 euro with 1000 points, come on, i deposited thousands of euros over the past 4 years, and I still havent reached the 10 euro? Really lame.

Kroon casino is something very new to me as I registered there about 2 weeks ago. They have Netent software and that was my reason to become a member there. This time after sign up I made a 30€ deposit and I decided to try something I haven't tried before- the slot game called Mistery at the Mansion. I had a great time at Kroon casino. Not only I made some nice profit, I really enjoyed playing there. The graphics of the games (especially casino holdem) was great, the casino itself looked like an eye- candy, I had no technical problems or any problems with withdrawal. I will definitely continue to deposit there and recommend to others!

There should be live chat. If I had any problems, I would be really frustrated to not be able to talk about it with live support.
