This is one of those 5 reel slots which I prefer since it brings back memories of how games used to be but this also mixes in the cascades of the more modern games so it’s a mixture of old and new. To see good old Gonzo making his gestures on the side and reacting to what happens on the reels is always fun to watch he is a bit of a character and for that NetEnt has done a good job with this slot. The music is also something enjoyable, the sound effects and the jungle theme. A fairly decent RTP of 96% is an added bonus for sure but be sure to check the helpfile of the slot as NetEnt is making variable RTP’s so you might be playing on a lower RTP than the original 96%. My more recent play on this slot has shown me that a feature occurs around found the average of triggering a feature for me around every 159 spins on average and that is for the most recent 23 features. That is something to like about this slot that you don’t need to wait hundreds of spins like you would on some more modern games such as those megaways which can easily go 500 or 1000 spins. I will say something you only need to wait for less than 100 spins as 8 of those 23 recent features triggered in under 100 spins for me one time back to back! However, a couple of the longest took 391 and 467 spins so beware it can be stubborn at times.

As I said that sometimes the triggering of the feature can take several hundred spins but that is rare for me as I said the average is 159 spins (most recent 23 features) but it can sometimes be stubborn and take close to 500. The base game can on the occasional produce a good base hit but they are very rare and only 3 times in the most recent 3700 spins that it has given a 50x base win or higher. (one 50x, one 58x and one 100x). There are frequent little losses disguised as wins during the base game and you wonder how much longer it’s going to take for the feature to drop in as it likes to tease a lot with those gold coins since they need to be on pay lines and not just random positions. Triggering the 20 free falls is also very rare in this game and the vast majority have been the 10 free falls.
