Extremily slow payout. I'm already waiting for 5 weeks and I'm not sure if I will receive anything.

Playtech software is a funny old thing. Sometimes you can make a guess at what type of casino your looking at just from the software they are running, like Top Game or Rival for instance. Microgaming are known to revoke the licenses of any casino that shows a blatant disregard for their own players these days after their reputation was almost destroyed by the Purple Lounge fiasco several years ago. No such assumptions can be made regarding Playtech casinos.

Generally though I find Playtech casinos can be divided into two main groups - you have the trustworthy and morally respectable household names such as William Hill, Ladbrokes and Paddy Power, and then you have the others such as Planet Kings, Winner and African Palace. Some of these "others" are basically decent outfits with one or two questionable rules whereas others are just as bad as any Rival casino ever was. It amazes me that companies such as William Hill do not object to these shady operations sharing their software platform but I guess the deals they have with Playtech must be so good enough to warrant keeping their mouths shut.

African Palace certainly isn't the worst of these dodgy Playtech's, but they definitely do have some questionable morals evidenced in their terms and conditions. For a start this is one of a long list of Playtech casinos that force a ridiculously small monthly payment limit onto Progressive jackpots. Players have won progressives worth millions of pounds, been paid the money in full by Playtech, and then enforced a monthly withdrawal limit of just £10,000, meaning it would take DECADES for the player to receive their money in full. The chances are the casino will cease to exist long before that!

Wagering requirements are also pretty monstrous whenever they decide to give a bonus, 40x deposit plus bonus seems to be the norm and in the case of the four stage welcome offer these bonuses are applied to your account automatically after you make your deposit, and players have reported extreme difficult getting the additional funds removed from their account afterwards.

I think playing at this casino is just too risky, sure they do often have decent no deposit promotions, but even if you manage to convert the bonus money to cash you'll still need to make a deposit before you can request any withdrawal and when you do you'll be hit with another enormous stack of wagering to battle through before you are able to finally request your withdrawal. There are simply far too many decent casinos to play at in 2016 to make African Palace worth the effort.

African Palace Casino, sister with Grand Reef Casino, for those who don't know. Actually, I signed up with this African gal several months earlier before I came to meet the 'Australian' sister which turned out to be much better, if you need to know. But we'll do some comparisons and you can decide for yourself then.

Casino and operations wise, the two sisters are very much alike, but do differ in certain small ways and I don't mean body wise. Each brand has its own preferences, rulings and implementation programs. So playing at African Palace is not the same as playing at Grand Reef. Players too have their own tastes, likes and dislikes, so some may like African Palace, some may don't. Me? We'll come to that at the end.

The biggest difference between the two. One has big ones. The other, small ones! Hm, think what you like! I was talking about their deposit bonuses, you? Never mind, hehe. I love big ones, for obvious reasons, but at times, small ones can do better than big ones. Wagering wise. African Palace rarely, if any, offer deposit bonuses of 100% or more on regular basis. Most of the time, their deposit bonuses would range from 25% up to 75%. The best bonuses that I took from them all came from their Welcome Package Offer 200% for the first deposit, up to $200 (only), and 100% for the 4th deposit, up to $50 only, too little for me then. Still too little for me now! But what to do, we just have to take what is being offered, if we want to.

Wagering on bonuses has been maintained at 30x bonus amount, so this is good for all players who do use bonuses to play, like me. There have been times when I took up smaller bonus amounts, simply because I had wanted some extra roll money to play with and if I win, the wagering requirements will not hinder me too much. True to life, I made a win in one of my plays using a small bonus, completed the wagering, and cashed out the winnings. Not a lot of course, but it was still winnings. How long did it took to get my money? Exactly 5 days! True to their stipulated time frame!

And finally what don't I like about African Palace? Hm, not a lot actually except for a need for faster withdrawal time frames, but 5 days isn't that bad after all. One do gets used to it sooner or later. What is more important is whether one can enjoy playing at the casino. For me personally I prefer the 'Australian' sister any time! Hehe.

I like that it is provided by Playtech as Playtech is one of the best gambling platforms. I also rarely have problems (technical or customer service kind) at their casinos. For a while a was really interested in this casino but since my country was not allowed to play there, 2 months ago, while I was travelling, I got an opportunity to try it. I looked that on AskGamblers forum this casino had bad ranking and it did surprise me.

I mostly have good reviews for Playtech so I signed up and made a 40$ deposit so I could enjoy their slot games. Even though on casino page they say you can instant play, when you try to click on the games, they will offer you a download, so I didn't get a different choice and downloaded it. I give them a huge plus for the variety of slots, there were so many slots made of games, I really like that.

Mostly I chose to play 5 reel 25 payline slots. I really like movie slots so ofcourse I played Incredible Hulk in which I had few good winnings of twenty something $ and then I played Thor slots. Thor is my favourite movie so I stayed at the slots for longer than at other slots. I played those slots with minimum bets for about 20 minutes and lost more than a half of my money. So I thought maybe Mummy slots will be luckier. They were,I won there 15$. The look of the games and graphics were very good, I really liked them even if I didn't win much.

After slots I wanted to play black jack, I played with minimum bets to at least play more hands. I am a little ashamed to say that 10 minutes later I ended up with 0 on my balance. I really liked this casino and I do recommend it for the slots they offer.
