888 Casino - Holding CAD 30k Withdrawal With No Timeline or Resolution
I’m seeking advice from the community regarding an ongoing withdrawal issue with 888casino.

I deposited a significant amount of money into my 888casino account and, overall, I lost most of it. However, during one period of play, I was fortunate enough to win approximately CAD 30,000. When I requested a withdrawal, it was placed on hold, and I was asked to submit identity verification and proof of funds documentation.

I provided all requested documents promptly and answered every follow-up question. This process began on December 5, 2025. Since then, I have received multiple emails stating that my identity and source of funds are still under review, but no clear timeline has ever been provided. I have also received several responsible gambling emails during this period.

Despite full cooperation and submission of all required documentation, the withdrawal has not been completed. Recently, I received an email stating that the withdrawal amount was returned to my gaming account, even though I did not request this or authorize it.

It has now been more than 23 days, and the funds remain inaccessible. Customer support chat has been unable to provide meaningful answers, and email responses take weeks, often without addressing when the withdrawal will actually be processed.

At this point, CAD 30,000 remains stuck in my 888casino account, despite compliance with all verification requirements. I am looking for guidance from others who may have experienced similar situations or advice on how to escalate this properly, as it appears the casino is not following its stated verification and withdrawal policies.

888 Casino - Taking forever to verify my documents
Hello FendiBendi here, Ive been playing on 888casino for a few months now and Ive made 2 withdrawals in the past and of course of my own fault I cancelled the withdrawals and gambled them and lost since it said it was a 1 day wait for the payment, I waited a day and of course I didnt get my payment.

Those above I cancelled the withdrawal and Lost since it was taking long to get COMPLETELY my fault, thats not the full problem here.
Now I have 3 pending withdrawals, I personally made the choice of putting the option to not cancel withdrawals so I wont gamble my winnings and make the same mistake again, These below are my new withdrawals.

the problem here is that they say it takes 1 business day to make the transfer. its taken longer then a business day.
they asked for me to submit my visa card and proof of idenity, in which i have submitted both. Card and Drivers license.
they say it should take 72 business hours. its been longer then that.
I reach out to the live chat they say they moved the case to the verifying department to urgent, still no one emails me or gets back to me.

Now Ive been doing abit of my own research online and it seems like Im not the only one with this issue this casino likes to play the long game with alot of its clients and take its sweet time and make it a very miserable and dreadful experience to cash them out but they have no problem taking payments on deposits to allow them to play.

888 Casino - Stalling with additional KYC
I created my 888 Casino account in 2021. I went through the initial stage of verifying my account. Throughout the years, I have played and won and cashed out. Then this past week, they asked me to verify my identity and provide source of income. I am doing that, but then I get emails asking me to do it again and again etc. I have submitted enough suffice evidence multiple times. I have screenshots and copies of emails.

The first time I submitted I got an email sating my documents were approved. Then I just needed to verify Identity. Complied. Asked to upload income again. Complied. Asked for income again. Complied.

I have uploaded documents 3 or 4 times now. I am getting the run around and now I cant even get a response. When I attempt to upload the documents, it just spins and spins. I even tried emailing.

I feel everything I uploaded was suffice and more than enough. I also sent paystubs from 11 months ago and bank statements from that time.

So unprofessional, even general loans etc see your information as adequate when you provide it.

I havent applied for a loan since I bought my car, but even that is satisfied with just a couple bank statements and banking information. Which I did provide to 888!

I think its a phony casino now. I understand "know your player" and I complied, more than 3 times now. I have nothing to hide thats why I have complied with what is being asked. Does anyone know how to review Canadian documents there?

Dont waste your time. I should have spent more time reading the reviews. I feel really bad for people who have won big and are having this issue.

It is at the end of the day, a scam.
The verify ID section wont even allow me to upload now. I email support and they aren't helping send my documents to the right people.

888 Casino - 3 out of 4 withdrawal requests still not processed and account is still disabled

I made four withdrawal request on separate dates. The First request I did was on August 8, 2025 for $820 CAD, Followed by my second request on August 9, 2025 for $14,000 CAD. Two days after of my withdrawal request, on August 11, 2025 I then received an email from Operations Team requesting me to submit a valid photo ID and my void cheque from my bank in order to carry out some additional checks.

I immediately submitted and uploaded my documents that same day I got the email. I did receive an acknowledgment email that my documents were received and it got forwarded to the competent department.

The next day on August 12, 2025 I made a Third withdrawal request of $1,322 CAD, and Fourth request of $1,400 CAD. On that same day, when I am about to play, my account got disabled and I could not login. I got worried and sad because I still have $2,580 CAD on my bank roll. I could not withdrawn or play with the casino anymore.

I wrote an email to the Operations Team informing them my account got disabled, they inform me that I have to submit some documents for verifying my account which I already did.

Following day on August 13, 2025 I received another email from the Operations Team congratulating me with my winnings and they need to validate my registration first in order to receive my payment. I got instructed to submit another documents which is copy of front and bank of the debit card that I use to fund my account and proof of billing address which is my recent credit card statement.

I immediately submitted and uploaded what they requested. Two days after the submission I then received an email that my withdrawal request is now approved and processed. Unfortunately on the email only I receive, the last withdrawal request of $1,400 CAD is the only amount processed and I confirmed it is deposited to my bank account via eTransfer the next day receiving the email.

I still have not received the 3 withdrawals of $820 CAD, $14,000 CAD and $1,322 CAD. On top of my account is still disabled and could not play. I still have $2,580 CAD on my account.

I have patiently waited for the 72 hours response time of the Operations team and I also excluded the weekends since it is not part of the business days but still I have never got a response or follow up.

The website has huge functionality issues: pages not loading properly, like the deposit page. If you can't even take the money, what is the point of you anymore? I deposited via PayPal eventually, after long waits, but guess what?! It didn't even go through. Live support was quick, told me I had to wait 3 hours. Verification was hassle free, it took about 1 hour. I don't even know why I deposited here, but definitely won't even bother. I don't remember it being so bad? Shut the door after you 888.com, your days are long gone.

The amount of slots / tables but this you can get somewhere else.

I wouldn’t recommend this casino to serious players. They never have issues with depositing large amounts or reversing your cash out request(no surprise). When you actually win something they will hold your winnings and not process them within the time frame stated in their policy without giving a reason or letting you know how long it could take. I’ve been with them for a few months, my account is verified (currently VIP status). The only reason I was given is: ‘this is due to the large amount, I cannot tell you when this will be paid out’. The staff on a live chat is rude and not very helpful.

As others have mentioned I have had horrible experiences with their support team and question the legitimacy of their extremely aggressive "safety measures". Over my 5 years playing on the site and paying well over 5k in rake I have had to verify my ID on 2 separate occasions. And today they locked my account to "verify the source of funds" while I was mid game in 2 MTTs after depositing only 1k two days prior.

I sent them what they asked for within 4 minutes but did not get a response and had to watch as my ~100 dollars in equity got blinded away.

I find this type of practice disturbing and if I had simply been an online poker player with out live cashes it would be near impossible to meet the standards they ask for and they could easily rob someone of their balance or wait until they try and cash out after a win like many other users here have pointed out.

Awful casino!!! Stay clear they lie to you and trick you into getting a deposit bonus! You can have 200% but only if you bet £2000+ first. Not made clear and a bloody con. No live chat - took 3 days to get back to me.

888 casino is rigged . I got robbed for 2000 . I didnt come close to making a profit . You dont deserve a star your robbing people . I make this point . If it was not rigged people will make a fortune so they must fix the game . I will never play online roulette or any casino game online again . I want my money back but they will claim its not rigged . I know it is . Its impossible to be as unlucky as i appeared to be . Even the FOB roullette terminals pay out more than online live play . Nothing Good about this Casino Site - Warning do not use.

I like a lot of people that I am reading up about put up to £1000 without any security verification but as soon as I tried to withdraw money I was stopped and my account was restricted from withdrawal but funnily enough it wasn't restricted to still deposit or reverse withdrawal. I then went on to reverse some of my winning and lost them. After 72 waiting for them to verify my documents they then blocked the withdrawal again saying I had logged in at a different location to what I registered with which I hadn't it was something to do with the wifi I was using but again I was still allowed to deposit or reverse with withdrawal. Joke of a company don't responded quickly intensional so you spend all your money waiting to be withdrawn. Horrible tactic from a horrible online gambling company.

There is nothing special about this casino vs other online casinos.

Deposited £10, pretty much got instantly locked out of account. Asked to send notorised copies of three different things (who even does that in the UK?) As many have mentioned customer service is awful, with them sending me automated/generic emails. Eventually I told them to refund my initial deposit (which was only £10 remember) they said they were unable to do it due to them taking security "very seriously". So now I have to either take time out to get notorised copies of three different documents (like I'm getting a mortgage) or just write it off. Couple this with other users poor experience with customer service with this company (not just mine) and withdrawals, I would certainly recommend people take their money elsewhere.

Also save yourself the trouble of emailing [email protected] as they'll either ignore you for days, or send you a completely unhelpful message. It's clear taking money is more important to this company than providing a positive user experience.

I opened my account and without putting in any deposit or as much as playing any games, I already requested for Identity verification. Got my confirmation a couple of days later by mail and started playing. Did not encounter depositing money thru my debit card.

Made my first withdrawals but unfortunately reversed one of them. 2 more withdrawals made today. I will just await how fast or long it would take to get credited to my debit card. Hope the negative issues about withdrawals are just scattered incidents but not a general thing that is happening.

All in all, a fairly satisfied player here. Will wait for further developments.

The annoying offer to reverse your withdrawal but I can live with it. Understand it's the casino's job to ask people to bring money in and not out. lol

An Absolute terrible casino, I tried it once with a promotion code and didn't receive my bonus. I then tried a few weeks later with a new promotion code. They once again did not credit my Free play Bonus. Casumo, 21, Rizk all follow through with their promotions. I contacted them still heard nothing back. Trading standards have being emailed. Hopefully this will soon be resolved.

Cannot fault my experience with 888. Won £1300 last Thursday - was paid onto my credit card by Tuesday. Very happy customer! 😁

Tend to receive an error every time I move from my account page back to the game screens but it doesn't take long to reload and log back in so not a big issue.
