Leonardo's Loot is 5 reels and 50 pay-lines video slot powered by Rival software provider. This slot is inspired with one of the most gifted humans ever - Leonardo da Vinci. The reels are framed in gold and are transparent. It looks as if they are set against the background of Leonardo’s workshop. Give this slot a free spin here or visit any of the Rival Casinos to play for real money.
Before you enter this workshop, you should set your bet. By clicking on "+/-" you can set the coins size which ranges from 0.01 to 0.25. The number of lines can be set by clicking on "Select Lines", and by clicking on "Select Coins" you can set the number of coins per line. The Wild symbol in the game is the painting palette, and it can replace any other symbol in the game to form a winning line. Also, it can form its own winning combos. If you land 3 or more scatters you will re-trigger free spins.
When Leonardo appears on the screen and tosses a coin you will win a random bonus amount. The amount will depend on how high your stake is. If you hit this Jackpot during Renaissance feature your prize will be doubled.

Leonardo's Loot is another game from Rival software released sometime in 2015 I think, and I have also played it several times when it was still 'hot'. Hot as in new and not hot as in a very popular game. My first ever play on Leonardo's Loot was surprisingly good, maybe because of still being newly released, but my subsequent plays on it were not good at all, which disappointed me, to say the least. Recently, I gave it one more go, always hoping that it would play and pay better than the last few times, but it wasn't to be.
The Palette is the Wild symbol in the game, paying a nice 7500x the line bet for getting 5 of them. It doubles all wins with it, substitutes for other symbols except the Scatter symbol, and expands on reels 1 and 2 into Wild Reels during the Renaissance Free Spins, but not in the base game nor in the initial Free Spins game. This is such a shame. Why not have it expanding in all modes? That would have been more interesting, with better winning chances. The Wooden Cogs is the Scatter symbol, it doesn't pay anything for itself, but getting 3, 4 or 5 of them triggers Leo's Loot Free Spins of 10, 15 or 30 free spins with a 3x multiplier. Getting 3, 4 or 5 of the Scatter symbols during Leo's Loot Free Spins trigger 3, 5 or 10 of Renaissance Free Spins with a 10x multiplier. Hmm, this sounds pretty good, but I must say that it isn't easy to get at all. As for the other symbols, the Gold pays 3000x, Leonardo pays 2000x, the Gems pay 1000x, Mona Lisa pays 750x, the Wine pays 500x, the Violin pays 250x, the Tools pay 200x, and the rest pay from 150x to 50x, all per line bet for getting 5 of each kind. A good paytable.
In the base game, Leonardo may randomly appear on the screen to award a Bonus Jackpot prize, not sure how much this would be, but the prize is doubled if it occurs during the free spins. In one of my earlier plays, I did get this random Bonus Jackpot prize once, in the base game, but the prize amount wasn't anything big at all. Pity I can't remember how many coins it was, but it may have been a few hundred coins, if I'm not mistaken. Not really like a jackpot win, I must admit.
Frankly speaking, I quite like playing Leonardo's Loot, but the payouts from my most recent play on this game disappointed me by quite a lot. The best win I could get was only 29x my bet amount, whilst the worst win was a blardy low 1x my bet amount. A very far cry from being satisfactory, yet I know the game could pay much better than what I had gotten. But, since I didn't get those nice huge wins, I couldn't give nice green stars in my rating of the game either.
