Refund refused despite active Self-exclusion

Dear ask gamblers I have self excluded myself from aspers casino on the 20.08.2019 due to gambling related problems and after my self exclusion when I went to the Aspers casino venue the manager came and spoke to me and asked me if I have self excluded myself and I replied yes I did after this interaction he has identified me as a self excluded player and still allowed me to gamble, Aspers casino is clearly in breach of contract and failed to protect clients like myself with its social responsibility code of practice.

Licensees must have and put into effect procedures for self-exclusion and take all reasonable steps to refuse service or to otherwise prevent an individual who has entered a self-exclusion agreement from participating in gambling.

Self exclusion means the operator must refuse service in all sites and venue's no matter the reason. After my exclusion on September 26th 2019 I made a deposit of £1925 and on the 29th September 2019 I made a deposit of £5000 totaling £6925. I have asked the casino for details of deposits made by myself so I can attach it here, I have filled in the subject access request (record) which is what I was told I need to fill in for this information of deposits made by myself during

September 2019 by Marcus < surname removed > the gaming manager as it was wanted by askgamblers.com when I tried to put this complaint before, so today I received a phone call by the manager Marcus < surname removed > to come collect the papers requested regarding deposits made by myself in September 2019 after my exclusion period and he has given me papers that right this information might be incorrect and false and so on,on the papers this is very unprofessional and sneaky and unfair for them to be acting in this manner I will provide all the evidence of this with the attachments of what he has given me and I will also attach additional information as well. This company has been consistent on bending the rules and providing documentation which admits that they have given false or incorrect information provided by them. After all correct procedures followed by myself.

I will be very grateful if askgamblers.com can assist me as it has with many other people.

Site is ok however, their game selection is a bit limited. The promotions are fairly regular and have a reasonable playthrough requirement. For likes that is about it.

Payouts are painfully slow! Aspers really need to get with it and realise waiting 4 days for a PayPal payout is not acceptable to players in this day and age. There is NO reason for this with a digital wallet that is instant. Win on a Friday and they are not even going to start processing your payment until 3pm Monday. Laughable.

There is a good variety of games. The company is professional when dealing with complaints. The staff always respond fairly quickly to emails and the live chat are friendly

I took advantage of an offer that was available to me on the site. I stuck to the terms and ended up winning the maximum cap of £500 after wagering. I then received an email stating that I would only receive my deposit and the rest of the withdrawal was confiscated. I was told the reason for this is due to me breaking the terms. I complained about the matter as I was sure I had stuck to the terms and hadn’t done anything wrong. After about 5 weeks I received an email that I would receive my winnings but my account with them would be closed. Absolutely disgraceful stay well away. Play on the blackjack live, where the lady dealer kept on sleeping. She was fast asleep doing not only mines, other people's bets. Withdrawal times. I closed my account due to this. In 2019 it should be within hours or a day or two, the leading casino have caught on to this and implemented it. A 72 hour pending period then 24 hours to verify and then 3-5 days to arrive in the bank that’s 2 weeks as weekend are not working days. Surely having more customers is better than holding on to the funds and players leaving as proven in other reviews is better, some people might enjoy reversing there funds but I would say and others here that the majority would not. I personal don’t reverse funds but also will not deposit until my money clears. VIP without the VI...

I played with Aspers as a VIP for several months so my review can be read with full confidence.

If you're considering Aspers to play any form of live casino, I would advise to look elsewhere. Aspers is predominantly for slots. Pretty much all the bonuses with Aspers are based around slots so any bonus funds can rarely be used for live casino. If they are, there is a heavy wager requirement and each £1 bet spent acts as 20p towards the wager requirement. In short, it's a waste of time. Bonus offers sound good but once you read the small print you will soon realise its a poor deal.

If you're lucky enough to win some money, beware. Firstly your withdrawal will be pending for 24-48 hours. I was told 24 hours is the lengh of time for VIP players and normal players can be waiting 48 hours for the withdrawl to be processed. During this "processing time" you can easily reverse the withdrawal amount back to your account. We all know this is an old classic casino strategy so you get bored of waiting and cancel your withdrawal to start betting with the funds again.

Once your withdrawal has finally been processed, the money arriving in your bank account is slow. On all occassions i made a withdrawal, it took approx 1 week to arrive in my account. This is an unreasonable amount of time to have to wait.

I closed my account with Aspers due to a poorly handled complaint. After hitting a side bet on live blackjack worth around £500, the hand was cancelled due to a dealing error. As an online player for a number of years, I have previously experienced this same exact problem before with another online casino. Some decent casino games on offer, bonuses are ok.

Payouts are ridiculously slow, 36-48 hour pending period supposedly requested by the players (massive lie, why would the players want slow withdrawals?). Then another 24 hour internal review, then they look to process it. Other sites process within 2-4 hours (Unibet, B365, to name a couple). Just avoid and go and play on a site that won't try and take the piss out of you.

Good selection of games. Not a lot more to say other than that.

Used the 100% bonus +300 free spins to deposit. Met the wagering requirements and then my account went down to £5 the bonus was removed so could no longer play with my funds and only managed to use 60 of the free spins and not only that I still had to wager a couple hundred pounds from the free spins.
