Refund refused despite active Self-exclusion
Dear ask gamblers I have self excluded myself from aspers casino on the 20.08.2019 due to gambling related problems and after my self exclusion when I went to the Aspers casino venue the manager came and spoke to me and asked me if I have self excluded myself and I replied yes I did after this interaction he has identified me as a self excluded player and still allowed me to gamble, Aspers casino is clearly in breach of contract and failed to protect clients like myself with its social responsibility code of practice.
Licensees must have and put into effect procedures for self-exclusion and take all reasonable steps to refuse service or to otherwise prevent an individual who has entered a self-exclusion agreement from participating in gambling.
Self exclusion means the operator must refuse service in all sites and venue's no matter the reason. After my exclusion on September 26th 2019 I made a deposit of £1925 and on the 29th September 2019 I made a deposit of £5000 totaling £6925. I have asked the casino for details of deposits made by myself so I can attach it here, I have filled in the subject access request (record) which is what I was told I need to fill in for this information of deposits made by myself during
September 2019 by Marcus < surname removed > the gaming manager as it was wanted by askgamblers.com when I tried to put this complaint before, so today I received a phone call by the manager Marcus < surname removed > to come collect the papers requested regarding deposits made by myself in September 2019 after my exclusion period and he has given me papers that right this information might be incorrect and false and so on,on the papers this is very unprofessional and sneaky and unfair for them to be acting in this manner I will provide all the evidence of this with the attachments of what he has given me and I will also attach additional information as well. This company has been consistent on bending the rules and providing documentation which admits that they have given false or incorrect information provided by them. After all correct procedures followed by myself.
