Book of Dead is a 5 reels and 10 pay lines video slot game. There were times when I was winning a lot in this game and there were times when I was losing my bankroll very fast. This is a high variance slot so if you want to win big you need to risk a lot. This game is very similar with the very popular slot from Novomatic Book of Ra but I would say that this one has at least better graphics.

In the Book of Dead video slot game the book symbol is acting as wild and as scatter too. When it acts as wild it substitutes for all the other symbols in order to help you in landing more winning combinations. If you land 3 or more symbols you activate the free spins feature. The last time I played this slot I thought that I will lose all my money and I will not manage to trigger the free spins. Luckily I had some money on my balance from other games that I have been playing before I switched to Book of Dead. All in all the highest amount that I have won during this game was 950 x bet. I had 4 pharaohs on an active pay line and some other symbols too, and for this reason I play this game, hoping to land a win even better than this one.

My first experiences with this game weren't the best, I got a bunch of free spins on the game from a handful of my favourite casinos and had almost entirely dead spins. Sure, this ancient egyptian theme has been done to death in the slot world - since IGT's Cleopatra it has become an extremely popular basis for slot games and that trend has continued in style into the on-line slot world. I wouldn't say this is the best looking egyptian themed slot game and in fact I would have to say I probably prefer the excellent Cleopatra II over this game despite my lucky free spins win, but it's a high quality game nonetheless and the 5000 coin payoff for a five of a kind of the top symbol is a welcome find with all the bad paytables appearing in on-line slots these days.

More paylines might mean you see wins more often but Book of Dead shows there's a whole lot of life left in the old 9/10 line format in 2016. This isn't one to rival Dead or Alive, but it's a solid slot and one that I'll definitely be playing a lot more in the future.

At first i though i will like this slot because of my success i had on the famous Book of Ra slot. Now given that this slot is a clone of the Book of Ra, i though my time will be great on this slot but i think this slot is very bad, even worst than Play'n Go latest release"Hugo" and you can imagine how much empty spins you have on Hugo.

Now as much as I like Play'n Go, this is definitely not a book that I like and will not read it at all. 10 paylines, 5 reels says it all, very difficult to win. Thinking how difficult it is to win in Pimped, Royal Masquerade, this book of dead is worst.

If you love the slot Book of Ra then you definitely will not like love this slot as this book is completely dead. Dead spins, dead wins, dead money, losing money. Now the Book of Ra base game does not pay a lot but you definitely make most of your money back during free spins. Rich Wilde is the highest paying symbol, not sure why and then he has his Egyptian era symbols like pharaoh, the idol and the bird type of symbol. The rest are the low paying deck of cards, which is the only thing that comes in a 3 of a kind or 5 of a kind if you lucky.

Now the dead free spins feature is triggered when the book of dead appears. The book also act as wild, but if free spins are triggered, those 3 dead books hardly land in a winning combo. You will get 10 free spins with a special scattered symbol. You know during base game you see deck of cards symbols 90% of the time, but during free spins you will see 2 or 3 of them on the reels. If it is really your day you will see 4 of kind maybe 5. Even so the wins are not even great either. I have only manage to trigger free spins once and that was with A symbol, but man I tell you I won 470 coins during free spins.

Now give me an address so I can go and find this Rich Wilde character because all he does is take my money with this deadly game. You can try this game but be warned, unless you have about $1000 to throw away be my guest.

Well PlayNGo provider could make a bit more effort and make this game a little bit different then Book of Ra, this game reminds so much of the game I have mentioned. When I saw this game for the first time and seeing the free spins feature, specially the wild one and the scatter one which are the same symbol the Book, same old story of Book of Ra slot but this time with new title Book of Dead game.

Book of Dead slot is a 5 reel with only 10 pay lines and by the way I really hate this kind of games, but given as free spins offered by some casinos when they launched this game, can't say no for a freebie. The game has nothing special so in my eyes its another PlayNGo slot with very low variance, giving you some tiny wins, well in my case all dead or empty spins.

The game has free spins feature and the most that player can get is 20 free spins. The Book is a wild symbols but scatter as well, so triggering 3 Book symbols will award you 10 free spins and the more scatters triggered the more spins would be won. The only thing I liked is the free spins feature where the wilds are expanding, but even so I didn't manage to trigger something bigger then 25 X my bet size. I even deposited once in iGame casino where they were giving 100 free spins for one tiny deposit so I thought I could give it another try.

So from those 100 free spins I only won 8.50 euros and triggered the free spins only once. Sorry PlayNGo, but this is not my type of casino games, it might have nice potential of big wins, but I doubt I rill trigger it. So yet another slot game from this provider which I definitely would never play, or I might but only given as free spins from some casinos.
