ORYX Gaming continues to grow its footprint in the United Kingdom in 2022, announcing that it had struck a deal to go live on multiple casino brands operated by SkillOnNet in the country.
The partnership with SkillOnNet is the latest in a series of agreements that have seen Bragg Gaming-owned ORYX rapidly establishing a presence in the UK market upon obtaining its supplier licence from the Gambling Commission in November 2021.
Establishing a Strong UK Presence
Following a successful integration, games developed in-house by ORYX and exclusive content from GAMOMAT and Peter & Sons will be available to players at various casino brands powered by SkillOnNet, including but not limited to PlayOJO Casino and Play Million Casino.
ORYX is looking to strengthen its presence in the UK further in 2022 with the SkillOnNet deal being the first in the series of many more to come.
ORYX intends to expand in the United Kingdom further in 2022, considering that market's growth potential. According to H2 Gambling Capital, in 2021, the total addressable market (TAM) for the UK's online casino sector stood at approximately £4.1 billion.
ORYX's parent company Bragg expects its TAM to increase six-fold in 2022 to over £13.25 billion, with the UK market accounting for under one third.
Hitting the Ground Running
Commenting on the deal, Chris Looney, Chief Commercial Officer at Bragg, said ORYX has "hit the ground running in the UK", and it is "thrilled to have partnered with a number of leading operators so swiftly after receiving our UK licence.
"This agreement with SkillOnNet for the distribution of our content across their many brands is testimony to the player appeal of our content in the UK which we expect will allow us to continuously grow our share," Looney noted.
Meanwhile, Head of Games at SkillOnNet, Jani Kontturi, shared his enthusiasm by saying that the operator is "always looking for exciting new content to add to our offering.
"ORYX brings a diverse mix of unique and entertaining games that we are confident will resonate with our players in the UK," Kontturi pointed out.
