Mariachi Mayhem

Mariachi Mayhem is a five reel slot with three rows and twenty fixed pay lines. This is a brand new slot from the Game Company which I discovered about two weeks ago on Videoslots and decided to give this slot a try. This is a Mexican based theme and enjoy the mariachi sounds while spinning those reels.

Four sombreros of different colours, yellow, red, blue and light blue represent the higher value symbols while 9, 10, J, Q, K and A make up the lower values. The wild is a pretty, blue ‘Wild’ which will substitute for all others to help form winning combos except for the Maracas scatter symbol. There is a 2x2 colossal symbol that was also visible during the base game.

Occasionally the Mariachi band will cavort onto the reels and award one of the following mini-features:
• Mariachi Re-spin – one of the colossal symbols will re-spin itself into another one to (hopefully) generate another win and this can happen more than once.
• Wild Reels – at least one reel will be turned completely wild.
• Stepping Colossal – a colossal symbol moves one position to the left on each spin with wild symbols filling the spaces left behind. It’s all over when the symbol reaches reel one.

This is triggered by landing at least three of the Maracas scatter symbols anywhere in view and you’ll now be awarded a random number of free spins, which is nice! We can’t explain anymore because we couldn’t trigger the spins during our testing.

I just tried this slot and saw the random features just kick in. Those Mexicans got out of hand and came all over the screen with some random Mexican music. Boom, a huge wild landing in the middle of the reels creating some nice combo to win. Had a x60 win from that random feature and 5 spins later free spins triggered. Make no mistake normal spins like base game and I won x3 my bet from 6 spins.
