If we ever wondered what a game name suggests or tried to figure out from the name what could be the theme, well, we definitely don’t have to bother ourselves such things at this slot as SkillOnNet very precisely determined it when they assigned a title for this product. Kiss the Sky Climbing Slot has a very simple interface but for me it is still attractive and in its way it’s really good looking. Naturally, the white colour dominance on the reel area and in the background is obvious and though the slot hasn’t got exceptional graphics but the little permanent snow falling decoration, the decent symbol illustrations (all kind of climbing equipment), the funny penguin winning animations are all great and together really have the ability to create a great atmosphere to the theme.

The slot offers 50 paylines to bet on which is not too common among SkillOnNet products but the features the game offers are just the ordinary ones and I must say I would have expected a little bit more features or any other extras that would distinguish this game from the others and would have the ability to make players real excited. Unfortunately, we don’t get here any of these and I also can’t say this slot would be too interesting. I feel this game simple just lack of the ability to be real entertaining and sometimes it’s really a noticeable shortcoming.

I think the not too generous rewarding quality of winning combinations nicely exemplify this as the best paying winning combination is worth only 2000 coins which is a little bit weak in my opinion. The Wild symbol only just substitutes for the others but unable to multiply wins or pay by own and even if it appears relative frequently on the reels but without being real powerful it’s not a respectable symbol at all especially if I mention that 90% of the cases it pops up on the last two reels.

Nowadays, rightly, the developers realized that they should give some extra functions with Wild (like stacked, expanding appearing format or something like this) and at a modern slot it’s far from being enough if a Wild just replace other symbols so I’m just hoping that SkillOnNet sooner or later (I would prefer the first version) is going to recognize that tendency and finally starting to assign real usable Wilds to their products.

So back to this sport slot, there are only two traditional features here what we can play with – free spins and bonus. To get free spins it’s enough to have just 2 Scatters anywhere on the table when we’re awarded only 2 free spins where all wins are multiplied by x2. Sadly, this is the last time when we see a multiplier involved at this extra session as if 3 or more Scatters appear on the table even though the awarded number of free spins is increasing (to 5, 10 or 20) but that spins are played with normal conditions without using win multiplier. I also can’t understand this tight-fisted behavior from the developers’ part because it influences the gaming experiences in bad way and I wouldn’t think extending the functionality of multiplier to every spins would be so big thing.

The Bonus is the other issue. I never was and never will be the Bonus credits system which means we collect 100 bonus points if a special Bonus icon appear anywhere on the reels and we have to have 1000 such points to gain an entry to the Bonus game. I just think this stupid system just close out the ‘luck’ factor from the game which is the alpha and omega of this whole thing we call gambling.

Anyway, after hitting the 1000 plateau we’re carried over to a secondary screen where we have to climb to a peak and we must choose at first from three then from two checkpoints until we reach our ultimate goal to get to the top of a mountain. Every selected checkpoint reveals cash prizes or finishes the side game. Though it seems easy but I could never manage to go to the end and the winnable prizes here are also not too great.

Overall, I expected more from a 50-payline slot and it is true for every segment of the game. Though I haven’t got any problems with the appearance and I even like it but the game should offer me much more than this. The slot doesn’t have great features, interesting gameplay or ability to entertain me for extended period but the real problem its payout capability and the not too great game settings. The potential to win big is absolutely not here and the average winning tendency is also poor so I must say this is not the product that SkillOnNet should be proud of. I find here much more segments where I feel the improvement is required than what I could appreciate so I think it’s better if players search further for an overall better and more enjoyable game at SkillOnNet platform.
