Dance Party is Pragmatic Play powered slot that runs on 5 reels and 243 paylines with retro disco, neon lit theme. The game is something we’ve definitely seen before but it shows massive potential and offers interesting features. Dance the night away on these reels in any Pragmatic Play Casino for real, or here for fun.
How to Play Dance Party Slot
Set your bets and bust out some serious dance moves.
- You can increase and decrease Bet and Coin Value by pressing +/- buttons.
- Spin sets the reels in motion once the bets have been set.
- Autoplay will give you the chance to choose the number of automatic spins.
Slot Features
The game offers some basic features such as Wilds, Scatters, Multipliers, and Free Spins round but they tend to get pretty rewarding.
Wild
Dance Party symbol is the Wild and it substitutes for all the symbols except for the Diamond scatter. The Wilds appear only on reels 2, 3, 4 and 5.
Scatter
Scatter is Diamond that appears on all reels. Bonus feature is triggered when you land a minimum of 5 Scatters anywhere on the reels unlike other games where bonus round is mostly triggered by landing 3 Scatters.
Progressive Multiplier Spins
Once the feature is triggered you will enter the Free Spins round and get awarded with multipliers whose value is decided based on the number of triggering spins. With 5 Scatters you start with x1 multiplier, with 6 you start at x2, and with 7 you will start at x3 multiplier.
The round will start with 15 spins, and after each spin the win multiplier will increase by x1, x2, x3, and it will rise until it reaches x30. If the round ends with a multiplier less than x10 the bet that triggered the round, you will automatically get another x10 multiplier.
Additional 5 Scatters can retrigger the feature and award another 15 spins. It can go until the maximum of 60 spins cap is reached.
Summary
Dance Party is highly volatile game with 96.50% RTP, and a maximum payout capped at x36450 which is owed mostly to Progressive Multiplier Spins feature, and that’s what we liked. Progressive Multiplier is not something innovative for Pragmatic Play, and we’ve seen it before, but each time we see it, we love it. Theme is a bit old and exhausted, but the features and win potential is what really counts.
Pragmatic Play has been releasing new games regularly and this Dance Party is yet one more from them. There’s nothing new or innovative in this game, being yet a clone of another game, so the game play becomes familiar right from the very start of trying it out. The overall presentation is nice, with colourful and vibrant simple icons, and with a catchy tune to entertain players whilst they are at it.
Dance Party is a high volatility game, playing with 243 ways to win, with a low starting bet of just $0.20, so giving this game some try-outs shouldn’t kill your wallet, unless of course you happen to play the game during its drought season. Unfortunately, yet again, both the Wild and Scatter symbols are non-paying, and the other symbols all have extremely low win values, from 7.5x down to 2x the total bet for any 5-of-a-kind win. But not to worry though, because there’s plenty of winning paylines, and the Progressive Win Multipliers during the free spins should be able to dish out some huge wins at the right times.
Getting 3 Diamond Scatter symbols won’t give you anything, needing at least 5 Scatters instead in order to trigger 15 free spins with a 1x multiplier, but the progressive multipliers for each free spin can go as high up to 30x, which would definitely keep your adrenaline rushing, hehehe. Not only that, the free spins game can be retriggered, although not easy to get, and if the final win from the free spins is less than 10x the total bet amount, a 10x payout is guaranteed. Ah, that’s nice, and all games should be like this!
I have played Dance Party many times so far, mostly in Pragmatic Play’s Social Tournaments, and I must say that I quite enjoyed the game. Enjoying it may be one thing, but I would prefer getting those elusive big wins occasionally, to boost up my confidence in the game, but who wouldn’t want that, right? Well, maybe one of these days, sooner or later (sooner would be best of course), but my Lady Luck seems to be having a long vacation somewhere, or has been with somebody else instead! Oh sigh!
