Stake Casino - Suspended account holding funds 3601 USDT

My stake account has been suspended and withdrawals are locked. I currently have 3601 USDT in the account. When I contacted their account team to inquire why my account was suspended and why I am unable to withdraw my own funds, they informed me that I need to resubmit documents for verification and only after this process will I be able to access my funds my account. Was already verified previously despite this I agreed to cooperate with them and submitted all the required documents including my identity proof, a selfie and all documents which they asked. After making me wait for over a week they rejected my identity document and selfie and are now demanding that I provide a passport for verification.

The issue is that I do not possess a passport, my account was already verified using other identity documents in the past and now they are making unnecessary excuses insisting on a passport to verify my account, I have explained to them multiple times that I do not have a passport and cannot provide one as I have never applied for or obtained one, despite this they continue to respond rudely and insist that I must submit a passport to withdraw my funds.

They have now stopped replying to my emails and this situation is causing me significant financial stress and I am deeply concerned about accessing my hard earned funds. If AskGambler platform can help me in resolving this issue I would greatly appreciate it, please help me.

Stake Casino - Repeatedly and unreasonably rejecting KYC and demanding impossible signed and stampedpayslips
Casino: Stake.com
Username: NikasNikas
Country: Canada
Date problem started: November 2025
Amount in dispute: 249 (locked)

Summary of the issue

My account at Stake.com has been temporarily suspended and my withdrawals blocked while the casino requests repeated and increasingly unrealistic KYC / source of funds documents, even though I have already provided everything that is actually available from my employer and bank.

Timeline and details

– On 20 November 2025 I received an email from Stake informing me that my account was suspended and that they needed additional KYC documents under their Terms of Service (Clause 4.8).
– I was asked to complete verification up to Level 4:
• Level 2 – selfie with ID and username/date
• Level 3 – utility bills and proof of payment for the last three months
• Level 4 – payslips and bank statements for specific months, with the salary figures matching
– I followed these instructions and, after some confusion about my username, Stake later confirmed that Level 2 and Level 3 were completed.
– For Level 4, I was first asked for payslips and bank statements for April, May and June 2025. I uploaded:
• Original electronic payslips for those months
• Bank statements clearly showing my salary deposits, which match the payslips
– Despite this, my submissions were rejected several times without any clear explanation beyond “documents did not meet the requirements”, and I was asked to re-upload everything multiple times.
– Later, Stake changed the requirement to May, June and July 2025 and again requested payslips and matching bank statements. I complied and submitted the documents again.
– After several days, I received a new message stating that my Level 4 submission was rejected because the payslips must be “signed and stamped by the authorised issuer and contain full company details.”

Employer confirmation – requested documents do not exist

My employer is a large Canadian utility company. I contacted the Manager of Payroll to try to satisfy Stake’s request. In writing, my employer confirmed:
– They do not have an official company stamp or seal for pay stubs.
– They do not issue pay stubs with signatures.
– Pay stubs are generated electronically in the same format for all employees and already contain company's letterhead and details.
– They cannot reissue payslips in a different format or add stamps/signatures.

This means that the type of document Stake is now demanding (signed and stamped payslips) is impossible for me to obtain, not only personally, but for any of my company's employee. I have already provided the only official payslips that exist, together with the bank statements showing matching salary deposits.

My position

I believe I have fully complied with Stake’s KYC and source-of-funds requirements to the best of my ability:
– ID verification and selfie have been accepted (Level 2).
– Address verification and bills have been accepted (Level 3).
– For Level 4, I have provided:
• Original electronic payslips for the requested months
• Bank statements for the same months with matching salary entries
• Written proof from my employer that they do not issue signed/stamped payslips and cannot reissue them

Despite this, Stake continues to reject my submissions and insists on a type of document that does not exist in my employer’s system. In practice, this means my account remains suspended and my funds are blocked for reasons beyond my control, even though I have been completely honest and transparent.

I understand that casinos must follow AML and KYC regulations. However, I feel that in this case Stake is moving the goalposts and demanding impossible documentation instead of reasonably assessing the documents I have provided.

What I am asking AskGamblers to do

I kindly ask AskGamblers to review my case and help mediate with Stake. Specifically, I am asking that:
– Stake accepts my official electronic payslips and matching bank statements as sufficient proof of income and source of funds and completes my Level 4 verification; or
– If Stake still refuses to verify me, that they clearly state their final position and release my remaining balance, rather than leaving my account indefinitely suspended despite full cooperation.

Thank you for your time and assistance.

Stake Casino - Winning live roulette but bet denied

To Whom It May Concern,

I am writing to file a formal complaint regarding a highly concerning incident that occurred on my Stake.com account, resulting in the denial of a legitimate win on Live Roulette and an inexplicable deduction from my balance.

On 14-07-25, at approximately 5:15pm EST, I was playing Live Roulette on Stake.com. My account balance at the time was a precise $500.00. I placed a single bet of $500.00 on "Black".

The spin concluded, and the ball landed on number 31, which is a black number. According to the rules of Roulette, this should have resulted in a winning payout, doubling my $500.00 bet to $1,000.00.

However, immediately after the spin, instead of receiving my winnings, I was presented with an error message stating: "Not enough funds." This message was perplexing, as my balance clearly showed $500.00 at the time I placed the bet, and the bet itself was accepted.

To make matters worse, upon checking my main account lobby balance directly after this incident, my balance had inexplicably changed from $500.00 to $499.99. It appears as though a single, unexplainable penny ($0.01) was deducted from my account at the exact moment I should have received my winning payout, effectively triggering the "not enough funds" error and preventing my legitimate winnings from being credited.

I promptly contacted Stake's support team via live chat (and subsequently via email), and the issue was escalated. I received a response from a representative, BrankoV, who stated that the issue was due to "the balance on the provider's end will always be rounded to two decimals and if you have for example $4.4999 on your balance, it will be rounded to $4.5, but if you try placing a bet with $4.50 or go all in, it will be rejected due to insufficient funds." They then claimed they were "unable to compensate by crediting potential winnings since no funds were deducted from your account for the bet in question."

I find this explanation to be entirely inconsistent, illogical, and unsatisfactory for the following reasons:

Initial Balance Integrity: My account was funded with a perfectly round $500.00. There were no underlying decimal points that should have resulted in a "499.9999..." scenario.

Bet Increment Integrity: All my subsequent bets (and previous activity) were in precise $0.01 increments (e.g., $0.01, $0.02, $0.50, $1.00), meaning my balance should always remain at precise two-decimal places. It is mathematically impossible for my balance to have organically reached a state requiring such a complex rounding explanation.

Timing of the Error: The $500.00 bet was successfully placed and accepted, indicating sufficient funds. The "not enough funds" error only appeared at the point of the winning payout, after the winning outcome was determined. This strongly suggests a system malfunction or synchronization issue at the point of crediting winnings, not a pre-existing insufficient balance due to rounding.

Denial of Winnings: The casino's claim that "no funds were deducted from your account for the bet in question" is misleading, as the issue isn't about the original $500 bet being deducted (it was accepted), but rather about the non-payout of the winning bet due to a phantom balance error, which then mysteriously caused my balance to drop to $499.99.

This situation indicates a clear technical fault or an erroneous interpretation by Stake's support team. I believe my winning bet was legitimate and should have been paid out. The provided explanation does not explain the discrepancy, the phantom deduction, or the denial of my winnings.

I am seeking a thorough re-investigation of this incident, focusing on the actual technical logs of the Live Roulette game at the specified time, and the immediate crediting of my winnings of $500.00 (representing my original bet being returned plus the winning amount).

Thank you for your attention to this critical matter.

Sincerely,

Top reviews from our players

I am a verified player at Stake.com for over 2 years with a total turnover of several hundred thousand USD (exact figures available on request).
While deposits and withdrawals have always been genuinely fast and the site design is convenient, during the last 18–24 months Stake has implemented clearly unfair and deceptive practices targeting profitable and long-term real players:
-Daily “maintenance” = artificial play blocking
Almost every single day except Sundays, during evening hours (CET/CEST), the site starts endlessly reloading, shows “We’ll be right back” or simply logs me out for 15–60 minutes. This happens like clockwork at the exact same time I usually play. Hundreds of players report the same pattern in VIP chats and forums. This is not real maintenance — it is a deliberate obstacle for regular players.
-Secret bonus-banning / “tagged” accounts
Despite being in overall loss for the last 8–12 months, my account was silently placed on an internal restricted list:
I no longer receive any reload bonuses, weekly boosts, monthly bonuses, rake back increases or promo codes that are still actively sent to brand-new accounts and losing players.
When I contact support or my VIP host, I always get the same scripted answer: “There are no restrictions on your account, you are just unlucky with the codes this time”.
This is a proven lie — dozens of long-term players with high turnover experience exactly the same treatment.
-Encouraging multi-accounting
Because of the above restrictions, many real players (including myself) are literally forced to buy or create drop accounts to continue receiving normal offers. Stake is fully aware of this practice but only selectively bans accounts when it suits them, while ordinary loyal players suffer.

Very good casino, easy deposits, and fast payouts. I highly recommend it if anyone would like to play, it's enough to break through to VIP, bronze is already waiting for a bonus.

They blocked my account for requesting a betting ID review, a totally fair claim, and they blocked me for 6 months. They never sent the IDs to the provider to verify all this email, they just blocked me.

What can I say, the casino is good, lots of games, fast deposits, and withdrawals. As for the fairness of the games, I don't know, I think it's all a scam, everything is falsified.

You can make many accounts on different documents, and they will pretend not to see it. But when you win, they will pretend to be fools. They allow minors to gamble. They can limit your account, prohibit withdrawals until you lose. In general, they cynically take advantage of your weakness.

They are limiting bonus drops. My account has been in profit for the last month and stake limits the bonus drop to 6 times. I can use it and I have a ban. And send me email that you have received a lot of bonuses from them in the last month and they will reduce all your bonuses, both monthly and weekly, by 90%, so instead of 100 USD per month you will receive 10 USD.

I've played on Stake for a long long time. I periodically check out new casinos but Stake is still my main. The product is top notch and it has the widest range of games. VIP and bonuses are good but feel they used to be better. CS is good.

Some of their newer originals look kind of low effort compared to some other casinos I play. Also, their VIP tracking is now looking a bit dated compared to newer casinos.

I wanted to write a review about this casino for a while now but time was lacking. To be honest, I am very suprise about the low rating of this casino because for me, this is THE place to go and here is Why =

Simple yet fresh layout. The web site is very well design and easy to navigate. all games are organized and the site will load as fast as your internet connection can take it!

Great choice of games all around but specially the live casino. You will find a free chair to sit if you need one.. On other Casino, i have to wait for a free spot on a 5$ table blackjack but i will always find one on Stake. The even have their own tables to make sure there is always a spot to spend your money. i dont play the roulette but i also saw they offer most of the roulettes games that live casino offers.

Depositing is hassle-free, like most casino but where Stake really up their game is the Withdraw time. Now we talking. I've never ever seen a casino pay this fast and ive been playing online for almost 15 years. It takes me more time to close a internet browser and open my email that it takes time to send me my withdraw. They are lightning fast and i was very surprise when I did my 1st withdraw. Stake is a example for other on how to run a online casino.

Customer service is also top, you wont wait and you can speak to a human fast and they are very polite and you dont feel like you are annoying them , even if you talk about a withdraw haha ! (Past experience!)

Overall, its the place to play if you are looking for a trustworthy place without hassle. Well done Stake !!!!

i give a big 9 on 10 and am keeping a point only because perfection doesn't exist! ^^

Honestly, I would leave this place empty but i will add a little something;

I would like to see some microgaming slots or playtech. I am a big fan of those. Its the only downside but they still have a huge variety of slots to play

My stake username is Philnyash100. Personally, the website is great with great odds. The customer service is readily available through live chat and email. Great payment options via crypto are also available

There are few sportsbook events on the website especially for basketball. The recaptcha options sometimes make it difficult to access the Website when logging in.

Deposits are quick on the account
- many providers playable,
- many slots playable,
- nice looking website,
- support available,
- quick loading website.

Stake can freeze your account after you register your account (with ID etc.) while playing with your first deposit.
Not only is this unusual and intrusive. It's just bold.
- What's even worse is that it's impossible to verify your account if you live on government assistance. It doesn't matter if you're independent and dependent on it. Such documents are simply rejected. It is simply not possible to verify yourself and the deposit is therefore,
- never seen such a uncooperative casino in case of documents,
- if Stake decide to reject your documents they take all your money and u can't do anything.

Nothing. I've been playing on stake.com for 2 years, I'm a platinum 3 player and since August I've been getting a code ban email every 2 weeks.
Until now, I really liked playing on the stake.com site, because with the bonus rolls I had another opportunity to hunt bigger multis.

They limit the collection of bonus codes on the grounds that the ratio of the wager and collected codes is disproportionate.
I've been playing here for 2 years, and I've had this rate all the time. I think this violates the principles of equal opportunities and fair play. It's pretty sad that they encourage people to pay even more money by banning them from collecting codes for 1 week.
