William Hill, has continually moved the goalposts on their bonus offerings, hiding the actual wagering requirements within the small print, although the initial offer ads, simply state the wagering x** etc. it does not now necessarily apply to the actual bonus, but x Free Spins "winnings" !
Should be renamed William Hell !
William Hill should be renamed William HELL, given there devilish ways in exploiting their already fiendish wagering requirements for their so called "Free Spins"
Although several of their headline ads state wagering requirements of 30x etc., one would naturally assume this is 30x "bonus awarded", as per prevaling industry standards across the board.
However, within the small print, on some offers, it now says wagering xx times "Free Spin Winnings"
For example, on being awarded "10 free spins" @ 10p each, during their Festive wheel promotion, although it stated 20x wagering i.e. 20x£1 bonus - NOT SO !
Because, having won over the £20 wagering requirement before converting to cash on the 10 free spins, unless one has read the "moved goalposts" in the small print T&C's, this "new wagering requirement" meant that having won £10 during the free spins, this effectively meant the wagering requirement was actually 20 x the winnings of £10, ergo, £200, therefore, the wagering requirement was actually 200x, because of the 20 x "free spin wins", rather than the initially assumed 20x bonus.
Customer support were useless, with the unhelpful and in-appropriately named "Christian" continually referring to the small print T&C's etc. In addition he would not supply a surname, employee number, or indeed even escalate to a line manager/supervisor or take an official complaint, constantly citing "not allowed to" give out any of this info !
Accordingly, I have closed my online account with 'William Hell", and in addition, will certainly not be using any of their high street stores ever again, in spite of doing so over many years. !
