WestCasino - Casino not verifying account
On 8.9.2024, I had 1329€ after wagering a bonus, I withdrew the money and started verifying my account. I then uploaded a picture of my ID card to the site on the same day. On 16.9, they sent me an email (screenshot) saying that my withdrawal has been placed back in my balance, as I had sent them a "blurry" image of my ID, and hadn't send them an official bank statement yet. I then uploaded a bank statement, and new pictures of my ID card on 17.9.

As I hadn't heard anything from them, I contacted them through live chat on 31.9, and asked what is the hold up, since the verification of the documents should take only 1-3 days, as their site says. The live chat operative told me that they "trust" that the verification team is going to contact me once they are done with the verification, nothing else.

On 1.10 I again asked what is the hold up, and told them I'd contact AskGamblers on the following friday if my account hasn't been verified and money withdrawn because my verification is being held up for no reason.

On 4.10, they sent an email (screenshot) saying that, again, the pictures of my ID card are blurry (none of the pictures were blurry, other sites had accepted them without a problem). I humored them and sent them new pictures of my ID cards for the third time. I sent the pictures on 4.10, and waited again, and as I received no response I decided to contact the customer support through email on 10.10 (screenshot), and they told me that the documents I send have to be valid and that the finance team will check it "as soon as they can".

It's been 4 days since that and I haven't heard anything from them, so I thought its time to open a complaint here, as it seems they are just using delay tactics and trying to make me play the balance away.

WestCasino - Operator deliberately ignoring emails

I have been trying to get in touch with WestCasino regarding a legal issue about their operator in my country of residence since December 11, 2022. Hence, I contacted them via e-mail on December 11 and 19 with my initial request. Since I did not get a response whatsoever, I sent follow-ups reminding them about my writings on December 20 and January 9 2023.

Please find proof of my e-mails attached to this writing. In the meantime, I got in touch with their live-chat several times, as I simply did not hear anything at all from their e-mail support. There, I was told, "Live-Chat support and e-mail support are to different departments and both cannot access each other's data." Hence, they could not tell me if they received any of my e-mails or were processing them. However, I was told multiple times I would receive an answer "soon".

Since that had not happened after one month, I decided to bring in my lawyer. Therefore, I needed my official transaction history on their Casino. On January 14, I contacted the operator again, asking for said transaction history. This time, after two days, I was told to contact their DPO - which I did. I have not heard from them since January 16.

On January 31 I resent my initial request with more detailed information. On February 3, I reminded them about my e-mail and asked for a confirmation of receipt. I have not heard from WestCasino since then.

I gave the operator the benefit of the doubt for some time. However, I have been waiting for almost two months now and have not heard anything at all (!) regarding my request. I would love to solve this issue through my lawyer, though I also do not get any responses from the operator's DPO.

WestCasino simply seems to be intentionally ignoring my request for whatever reason, as my e-mails clearly come through - since they responded to my request about my transaction history within two days. I had also thought that perhaps my e-mails did not come through, however, my e-mail provider always informs me within seven days if such a thing happened.

With this public complaint, I would like to utter my discontent about the way the operator is handling this issue. I would like to specifically point out that this complaint does not regard the legal issue behind my initial complaint (I will either try to find a solution with the operator itself or resolve the entire matter in court), but the way the support team simply ignores any of my e-mails. I understand requests sometimes can take longer to process, however having to wait almost two months without hearing anything really goes beyond anything I have seen before.

I am hopeful this complaint will encourage the operator to finally get in touch and find a timely solution to my request.

Delaying tactic:
They keep sending me emails to send documents and I did as well. Live support is lying to me. They are saying financial department is not working weekends but still after that they keep sending me emails asking for docs. I have sent docs several times, my withdrawal is still pending for 48 Hours. Live support is not helpful just saying wait for finance dep etc.

So now I have to close my account every 24 hours due to them delaying my winnings. I will not gamble there anymore until they stop delaying my winnings. So to future players, be aware of this casino. If you are like me that wants his winnings fast then stay away from this one.

I guess they are getting 2 stars from me because of game collection and customer service is 24 hours I think. Everything used to be good from them, but now I am not sure is it new management, because I remember they were part of every matrix group, but now has another owner.

Nothing good to say. I think they went from good casino to very bad.

First of all, I used to receive my withdrawal in a few hours. My withdrawal was pending for 48 hours over the past weekend until I reversed it. So withdrawal time frames are now longer. I requested a new withdrawal and it's been more than 24 hours and still no word from them (and this is during business hours). My guess is then they do not process withdrawals over weekends which is really bad.

On Monday they have slot of the star week. You get 10 spins if you deposited 40 or 100 spins if you deposited 100 the previous week. Well I could not claim my spins for the deposits in the previous week because they are not allowed to add the spins while there is a pending withdrawal, so this means I lost out on my free spins simply because they taking their sweet time to process a withdrawal. I really do not get why a casino needs more than 24 hours to process a withdrawal. It irritates the hell out of me.

Their terms are vague. They do not stipulate withdrawal time frames, they do not say how long it takes to receive a withdrawal on average, or how long it takes for a withdrawal to be processed.
Come to think of it, their support is worse in this scenario. Support cannot even say how long it takes for the withdrawal, how long is the pending time. Support says the withdrawal is instant once it is processed, but cannot even give an estimate of how long it takes to be approved or processed.
So what is the point of having customer support? I asked them to point me to their withdrawal section in their terms and conditions and they just ignored me. I think their guy was Gerard I spoke to.

I think this will be my last deposit here, as I do not have patience of waiting for withdrawals or worse not knowing how long it will take every time since their terms cannot provide exact time frames of how long withdrawals take to be approved.

Ask gamblers should update the page to state pending is up 72 hours, or even longer, I guess I will know once I know how long it takes to get my money.

The site - its layout, design, functionality - is very high-end and up-to-date. Fresh, modern, eye-pleasing, user-friendly.
They are very friendly and responsive in (almost) all of their communications (chat, emails). Live chat seems to be working, if not 24/7, at least most of the time.
They have my fav NetEnt games.
I made a few deposits and cashouts too, and did receive my money in the end.
With my two latest deposits (800 & 1000 e) I was credited with a generous amount of no wagering free spins to DOA2, which I really did appreciate.

First of all, the withdrawal limit is NOT 5 k€ per week as It’s stated here; It’s 2 k€ (”for new players”). When I asked about this in the beginning, it was raised to 3,5 k€ per week. I was told, if I only will keep depositing and playing, it will be raised. Well I deposited several k€ after this, but it wasn’t raised. I inquired about this several times, without response; finally I got an email stating that I just need to be playing more, and then it will sometimes later be raised to 5 k€ per week.
No, thanks. There are casinos with much higher withdrawal limits to begin with, so I won’t be just depositing and playing more and more, hoping that it will be raised to 5k per week some day. 😀
Also concerning withdrawals, I couldn’t help the feeling they were stalling my money, in hopes I would reverse my withdrawals and gamble them away.
Only a tiny withdrawal of ~ 50 e was processed in just a few hours; ”bigger” withdrawals of like 1-2 k€, are NOT processed in 24 h like it says here; they take at least 1-2 days; my last ”big” withdrawal of appr. 1,4 k€ took appr. FOUR days to be processed. Sorry, that’s just way too much for me, and bad service.
Also, their loyalty program isn’t that rewarding imo.
I usually never use bonuses, and neither did I use them here; but as I took a look at their bonus T&C; I think the rules are kind of tight.
Clearly this site is not for high rollers; so I took my business elsewhere.
Had they had a) much higher withdrawal limits and b) much faster withdrawals, I suppose I would have stayed their happy customer for a long time to come. And would also have given a much higher rating here.

What is there not to like? It took less than 2 hours to verify my account. For Canadian players I HIGHLY RECOMMEND using etransfer (available for deposit AND withdraw) Customer service is amazing and very supportive. HUGE choice of games. Withdrawals processed within 24 hours and deposited in less than 48 hours. This site should be AG Certified.

Too be very honest there isn't much I can say that is negative. Maybe no 24/7 chat but then again that really isn't a huge deal. For me this is THE best casino I've ever played at.

I joined West some weeks ago based on a friend's recommendation and I am having a good time here so far. The welcome bonuses are good even though I consider the wagering a little high, but I like the Weekly offers that come with no wager.

Was a member when I used to live in the UK .. I had extreme pleasant and friendly discussions with the support operators.
Mostly it was the account manager's help, Michael so big thank you for getting the withdrawals fast to me and for the recommended games and way of playing. over 3000 games + a random slot button.

What is most important: fast withdrawals, 2 days at first withdrawal and then within 1 day without any troubles.

I didn't like the free spins promotions, but the account manager got me a cashback so I didn't really care after that.
Except for that, the rewards program needs to be changed, although it didn't affect me because account manager there offers much more.

There seem to be very many positives about the site, especially the presentation and esthetic and vast array of games. However, this was overshadowed by the negative experience with first-contact customer support.

I am not a site player--nor a player per se--but experienced hostile and rude treatment on the Live Chat here on 24/1/2020, when asking a simple question for a global casino review site where this casino had asked to be featured.

An intrinsic part of 'road-testing' any casino is to contact customer support with any queries, to see how they fare, speed of response, etc. That is something that helps us draft a well-rounded review and will indicate the sort of treatment an inquiring player could expect when contacting the casino.

The degree of rudeness and evasion in response to our routine query was extremely odd and had not been encountered at any other site--we review a vast number.
