On 8.9.2024, I had 1329€ after wagering a bonus, I withdrew the money and started verifying my account. I then uploaded a picture of my ID card to the site on the same day. On 16.9, they sent me an email (screenshot) saying that my withdrawal has been placed back in my balance, as I had sent them a "blurry" image of my ID, and hadn't send them an official bank statement yet. I then uploaded a bank statement, and new pictures of my ID card on 17.9.

As I hadn't heard anything from them, I contacted them through live chat on 31.9, and asked what is the hold up, since the verification of the documents should take only 1-3 days, as their site says. The live chat operative told me that they "trust" that the verification team is going to contact me once they are done with the verification, nothing else.

On 1.10 I again asked what is the hold up, and told them I'd contact AskGamblers on the following friday if my account hasn't been verified and money withdrawn because my verification is being held up for no reason.

On 4.10, they sent an email (screenshot) saying that, again, the pictures of my ID card are blurry (none of the pictures were blurry, other sites had accepted them without a problem). I humored them and sent them new pictures of my ID cards for the third time. I sent the pictures on 4.10, and waited again, and as I received no response I decided to contact the customer support through email on 10.10 (screenshot), and they told me that the documents I send have to be valid and that the finance team will check it "as soon as they can".

It's been 4 days since that and I haven't heard anything from them, so I thought its time to open a complaint here, as it seems they are just using delay tactics and trying to make me play the balance away.

WestCasino - Operator deliberately ignoring emails

I have been trying to get in touch with WestCasino regarding a legal issue about their operator in my country of residence since December 11, 2022. Hence, I contacted them via e-mail on December 11 and 19 with my initial request. Since I did not get a response whatsoever, I sent follow-ups reminding them about my writings on December 20 and January 9 2023.

Please find proof of my e-mails attached to this writing. In the meantime, I got in touch with their live-chat several times, as I simply did not hear anything at all from their e-mail support. There, I was told, "Live-Chat support and e-mail support are to different departments and both cannot access each other's data." Hence, they could not tell me if they received any of my e-mails or were processing them. However, I was told multiple times I would receive an answer "soon".

Since that had not happened after one month, I decided to bring in my lawyer. Therefore, I needed my official transaction history on their Casino. On January 14, I contacted the operator again, asking for said transaction history. This time, after two days, I was told to contact their DPO - which I did. I have not heard from them since January 16.

On January 31 I resent my initial request with more detailed information. On February 3, I reminded them about my e-mail and asked for a confirmation of receipt. I have not heard from WestCasino since then.

I gave the operator the benefit of the doubt for some time. However, I have been waiting for almost two months now and have not heard anything at all (!) regarding my request. I would love to solve this issue through my lawyer, though I also do not get any responses from the operator's DPO.

WestCasino simply seems to be intentionally ignoring my request for whatever reason, as my e-mails clearly come through - since they responded to my request about my transaction history within two days. I had also thought that perhaps my e-mails did not come through, however, my e-mail provider always informs me within seven days if such a thing happened.

With this public complaint, I would like to utter my discontent about the way the operator is handling this issue. I would like to specifically point out that this complaint does not regard the legal issue behind my initial complaint (I will either try to find a solution with the operator itself or resolve the entire matter in court), but the way the support team simply ignores any of my e-mails. I understand requests sometimes can take longer to process, however having to wait almost two months without hearing anything really goes beyond anything I have seen before.

I am hopeful this complaint will encourage the operator to finally get in touch and find a timely solution to my request.

Ok looking, lots of games snd quite fast. Games seem to have defsult rtp, its rare nowadays. I could imagine playing here, but oh.. wait a moment. Check the massive cons.

Minimum deposit is 20€, but minimum withdrawal is 100€.

If you happen to win, it doesnt mean they would happily pay for your. First they let the cash out request hang several days, prob max 5. Then they return the your winnings to your account and ask for verification. On their terms they say they ask verification when certain amount is reached. That is blatant lying. Ok, so what? They doent accept driver's license. Everything they do aims to con you play back all your winnings. Definitely stay away from this site.

Site works fast, there are a large variety of games and the bonuses are SEEMINGLY very good. Support is fast to answer and "friendly", but they won't help you out much.

Withdrawals are an absolute scam. Even with all documents submitted AND accepted, it can take up to 7 business days for them to "approve" your withdrawal. This has happened multiple times.
Another really bad thing about the site is the fact that self exclusions and/or betting limits are hard to set up.
Due to these serious issues I will not ever play on the site again.

Such huge potential. Lovely bonuses etc and it's easy to navigate. Wager bar could be a bit better. All in all no issues with support or use.
As I said bonuses are good but it's pointless. If you win your not likely to be paid anyway, or at least its going to take an age.

A casino with such potential ruined by the withdrawal process. By far the slowest I've come across and that's coming from a position of having a pending withdrawal. They pull the usual document stunt. Drivers license not enough, need passport etc.
Delay tactics I presume to get you to reverse your withdrawal. Responsible gambling doesn't exist and you have to go through support, hence another barrier. I wish I'd read other reviews first because I definitely wouldn't have played. I'm pretty sure my withdrawal will be delayed again for some other reason made up to suit the delay. Great potential destroyed by greedy tactics.
I mean if your paid out quick you will redeposit and the game goes on.

I am playing this casino now for some Time. They Have many bonuses, even the ones without making deposit. The chat is friendly and they always did the Best to help me out. I Have even won a tournament 😊. They Have promotions like reload bonuses or free spins. I Have won the last Time on free spins 100 eur 😁.

Not much to like, they’re an average casino with an OK selection of games. They really need to up and improve or they’ll disappear like other casinos have before them.

They repeatedly send false and misleading offers via email. For example I was told I had 100 free spins because I had accumulated £150 or more in deposits that week. But then I was told I wasn’t eligible as I should have made 3 x £50 deposits and I had only made 2 x £50 deposits (and then several £30 and £40 deposits). They also send me regular false information and claims I’m eligible for more and I never am. Their agents on live chat are also very rude and I’ve reported them to the gambling commission.

The fact that their loyalty scheme is a bit bad. You get 10 free spins as a freebie per week if you deposit $40 or more during that week. Also, no birthday gift and to level up as part of the rewards program you need to wager $5000 which is extremely high.

Casino seems good. There was lots of games and nice layout on the website. Live chat was also friendly.

I got worst experience what you can get as a gambler. I deposit 80 euros and I used bonus 70% what I got to my e-mail. I won my biggest win ever and I tried to withdrawal 6350 euros. There was something problem like I'm abusing bonus rules, because some other player have same IP-address and bonus was already used. MGA searched that situation and this actually happened. Bad luck maybe. That is the reason why I'm not trying to make complaint again at AskGamblers. I don't know who can be that another user. In Finland our IP-addresses (mobile broadband) are not personal so I think rules like this are unfair to gambler.

I can't understand why I can get bonus which is already used by same IP-address. There must be something information like "you are not allowed to this bonus, because its already used". That situation was not my fault. Westcasino gave back that 80 euros which I deposited. I'm still very unhappy for that experience and I hope you can do something that situations like this can never repeat again.
