Hello,

I am submitting this complaint and kindly asking for your assistance regarding an issue with an online casino.

I have been using this platform for almost 3 years. Around 6 months ago, I became more active, went through significant losses, reached VIP status, and eventually managed to recover and move into profit through regular play.

At one point, my account balance reached approximately $168,000.

Everything was functioning normally until I requested a withdrawal — this was not my first withdrawal, but one of several:

this particular withdrawal took longer than usual
I was then asked to complete verification
shortly after, my account was locked

I have submitted all the requested documents in full.

It has now been over a month, and:

my account remains locked
the verification/investigation process is still ongoing
I am receiving responses from support, but only general updates without any clear timeline or resolution

Account Disabled and Over a Month Without Update

My name is < full name removed >, my account was disabled on Bovada for KYC identity verification. I submitted my documents which were accepted and it’s been over a month without an update and keeping me locked out of my account. I have reached out numerous times to which they respond that they don’t know why it’s taking so long but to just wait. I was given a timeframe of 48-72 hours and it’s been five weeks. Disabled account with no communication

Hi AskGamblers, looking for some help after reading online about you guys and hopefully getting some answers about my issue / concern.

I’ve had a bovada account for a few months to this point and never had issues with deposits or withdrawals. Come April 1st I was given a $10,000 100% bonus which seemed great at the time and deposited, completed my rollover, and went to withdraw some of the funds in my account on April 11th. The next morning I had an email stating my account was not able to be verified and was asked to send in my ID, holding it, and proof of address. All was sent on the same day and a response was received saying they would review the forms.

Since then I haven’t received any response. Customer support continues to tell me I just have to wait, but it is quite concerning seeing as I have a lot of funds in my account and seemingly no access to them.

As of today I still do not have access to my account and no consistent communication regarding the process or access to the funds.

Bovada Owes Me Money Has Disabled My Account

My account has been disabled since April 8th after trying to withdraw with no explanation given on why, I was told to verify my identity by submitting my ID, Selfie with ID & Proof of address. I sent everything they asked for with no issues at all. April 10th I received an email stating they received my documents and would investigate my account with a timeframe of 24-48 hours. I allowed that time to pass given an extra 24 hours before I eventually contacted them and asked for an update. I was then told there was no time frame and was not given any reason why my account had been disabled.

I am asking for a detailed explanation of what caused my account to be disabled, and when I can retrieve my funds from my winnings.

Account disabled with 2000 balance withheld without explanation

I am requesting your assistance in resolving an issue with my Bovada account.

I created my account using a referral code and received a sports bonus. Through wagering, I was able to build my bonus balance up to approximately $2,000 very quickly.

At the end of March, within 3 days of creating the account after my wagers reaching up to $2000 in bonus funds, my account was suddenly disabled without any explanation. I was later asked to submit verification documents, which I promptly provided. Bovada confirmed that my documents were received.

It has now been over 3 weeks, and I have not received any updates regarding my account or my bonus balance. I have contacted Bovada support multiple times, but I am only told that my account is “under investigation,” with no further details or timeline provided.

I am submitting this complaint regarding an unresolved account verification and investigation delay with Bovada.

My account was placed under review on March 3, 2026, after I attempted to access my funds. I have around $2000 in the account. I was originally informed that the verification process would take approximately 24–48 hours.

I immediately submitted all requested verification information and documents.

After doing so, Bovada later confirmed that they had successfully received my documents and stated that the verification had been completed on their side. I was then instructed to log in to my account to complete the process.

However, when I attempted to log in, the account was still locked and inaccessible. I informed their support team immediately that I was unable to access the account as instructed.

After this, the explanation changed, and I was then told that the account was still under investigation and later that it had been escalated to the highest level of their verification and financial services review team.

Since then, Bovada has repeatedly confirmed that:
- all required documentation has been received
- no additional documents or actions are needed from me
- there is no further escalation path
- they cannot provide any estimated timeframe for completion

As of today, the account has remained locked for more than 31 days with no clear explanation of the exact issue, no consistent communication regarding the review status, and no timeline for resolution.

The most concerning part is the contradictory communication: first confirming verification was completed and instructing me to log in, then later stating the account was still under investigation while it remained inaccessible.

I believe this delay and inconsistent handling are unreasonable given my full cooperation and immediate responses throughout the process.

I respectfully request AskGamblers’ assistance in helping resolve this matter by obtaining either:
1. completion of the review and restoration of account access and withdrawals, or
2. a clear written explanation from Bovada identifying the exact reason the account remains locked and what internal step is still pending.

Disabled my account and not sure why

Joined Bovada a couple weeks ago from a friend of mine referral. Ran up the deposit bonus to $2600. I was making another live tennis bet and got kicked out of my account. Bovada investigations/verification emailed me saying that I needed to submit documentation which I did very quickly within a few hours. Since then it has been 9 days and their support is NO help and continues to say that it will be reviewed "soon" "24-48 hours" "end of day" and other terms that have all been lies.

I understand that it is not an insane amount of money, but I am very frustrated with this process and that they took my personal identification documents and are not providing any updates on my situation. Bovada closed my account and cancelled my withdrawal. I requested a withdrawal then bovada canceled my withdrawal and disabled my account. A couple days later I got an email saying I needed to send in a picture of my i.d., and a selfie of me holding it and a proof of address. I have sent all my documents in weeks ago. Then I got an email saying thank you for submitting your documents and it said my account iss under investigation, and haven't heard from them since. I have been chatting with customer service but they are no help and refuse to get me to a supervisor or escalate my problem. Completely useless. I have sent in my info to be verified and I have given what should be more than enough time to resolve this issue. I should have read the reviews before I signed up for this scam of a site. Account Banned After Full Verification Funds Seized

Im posting here to seek help regarding an issue with my Bovada account.

I recently moved to the United States and was asked to complete account verification. I fully cooperated and provided all requested documents:

Indian passport for identity

Valid U.S. visa

Bank statement showing my current U.S. address

After submitting everything as requested, my account was suddenly restricted and my funds were seized without a clear explanation.

I have not used any VPN, multiple accounts, or engaged in any activity that would violate their terms. I have always used my real identity and payment methods.

Interface is nice. I enjoyed their sports book and single deck blackjack.

Customer service is polite.

Account security is not good. They don't have two factor authentication or device registration with mobile authentication. Their level of protection is well below information security industry standards, particularly for companies dealing with financial assets.

I will not be doing business with Bovada again as their account security just isn't sufficient given the amount of money they handle.

I didn't give them much money. I don't have anything nice to say.

Pretty much impossible to get money out. All winnings go to locked funds, and when I requested a withdrawal my account was locked. Probably the worst customer service I have ever worked with. Not helpful or respectful. Doing business with them was a mistake.

Good games and nice sport betting system. The only good thing about it is its really organized and you can find where you want to go and what you want to do on the system very easily.

Verification takes forever, it has been well over a week and still no response.. its been way over the 24-48 hour process. Also customer service seems to be helpful but honestly its not that helpful at all since they cannot even solve their problem within the time frame that they give.

It was ok for a while, then it wasn't.
Easy to use, even for beginners, but don't do it.

Please DO NOT do business with Bovada. Customer service is TERRIBLE - they are difficult to work with and quite argumentative; even the supervisor, named Shavora, that I ended up speaking with was unpleasant. They may feel the same about me, but I was really trying to be fair and reasonable. Details: I had a bet that was originally settled as "void", when it should have been settled as a "win"; therefore, my winnings were not available for me to bet. Eventually, it was settled as a "win" and funds were added to my account. When I inquired about this and asked for some sort of compensation for my trouble, I suggested $100 but would have accepted less, their response was, basically, sorry we can't do anything for you; we don't believe you and don't believe that the bet was ever settled as void; and we don't care if you continue to be a customer or not. This poor review is not about losing money. I won some and lost some; lost more than I won. But anyone who gambles like this, knows that they are much more likely to lose than to win. At the time this issue occurred, I had deposited, bet and lost over $1,000 (which went to Bovada's income). Yet they were still unwilling to work with me to resolve the matter and keep my business. My issue is with their poor customer service and poor business decision.

I was really surprised to see so many negative reviews here. I have had an excellent experience at Bovada. They pay well and so far I have gotten my bitcoin withdrawals anywhere from same day to next day. Plus their withdrawal limit is $9500 via bitcoin. Customer service via live chat has always been quick and very helpful. They have a great selection of slots and continue to be one of my favorite casinos.

I deposited funds with a credit card and gamble there a few months. I won a few dollars then my account was suspended. They said after 2 months my card requested the funds back. I never received a chargerback to my credit card and they are telling me I have to send in more money to cover the original charge even though I am up money.
This place is a total scam stay away!!

Clean site interface.. very simple to use. Variety of Casino games is decent.

Customer service is poor. Their response time to anything is never what you're told. I sent address verification with a response time of 24-48 hours. It's been 5 days now and still nothing from Bovada. When you call CS you get the same old song of 24-48 hours, after it's been far past that mark. Put a lot of money through Bovada but after this I'll be using another book from now on.

I'm not sure what happens with bovada. They were #1 2 years ago in my opinion. I still use their site but for poker and sports betting. The casino seemed to go downhill a bit. I wonder why they didn't renew their licenses. There must be a good reason, bovada still has a lot of customers and they make a lot of money. They don't need to screw people.

Bonuses are ok with usually 3 choices weekly however they all have low cash out limits..so if you deposit $50 with a bonus you can only keep $150 once wager requirements are through.
