888 Casino - Holding CAD 30k Withdrawal With No Timeline or Resolution
I’m seeking advice from the community regarding an ongoing withdrawal issue with 888casino.

I deposited a significant amount of money into my 888casino account and, overall, I lost most of it. However, during one period of play, I was fortunate enough to win approximately CAD 30,000. When I requested a withdrawal, it was placed on hold, and I was asked to submit identity verification and proof of funds documentation.

I provided all requested documents promptly and answered every follow-up question. This process began on December 5, 2025. Since then, I have received multiple emails stating that my identity and source of funds are still under review, but no clear timeline has ever been provided. I have also received several responsible gambling emails during this period.

Despite full cooperation and submission of all required documentation, the withdrawal has not been completed. Recently, I received an email stating that the withdrawal amount was returned to my gaming account, even though I did not request this or authorize it.

It has now been more than 23 days, and the funds remain inaccessible. Customer support chat has been unable to provide meaningful answers, and email responses take weeks, often without addressing when the withdrawal will actually be processed.

At this point, CAD 30,000 remains stuck in my 888casino account, despite compliance with all verification requirements. I am looking for guidance from others who may have experienced similar situations or advice on how to escalate this properly, as it appears the casino is not following its stated verification and withdrawal policies.

888 Casino - Taking forever to verify my documents
Hello FendiBendi here, Ive been playing on 888casino for a few months now and Ive made 2 withdrawals in the past and of course of my own fault I cancelled the withdrawals and gambled them and lost since it said it was a 1 day wait for the payment, I waited a day and of course I didnt get my payment.

Those above I cancelled the withdrawal and Lost since it was taking long to get COMPLETELY my fault, thats not the full problem here.
Now I have 3 pending withdrawals, I personally made the choice of putting the option to not cancel withdrawals so I wont gamble my winnings and make the same mistake again, These below are my new withdrawals.

the problem here is that they say it takes 1 business day to make the transfer. its taken longer then a business day.
they asked for me to submit my visa card and proof of idenity, in which i have submitted both. Card and Drivers license.
they say it should take 72 business hours. its been longer then that.
I reach out to the live chat they say they moved the case to the verifying department to urgent, still no one emails me or gets back to me.

Now Ive been doing abit of my own research online and it seems like Im not the only one with this issue this casino likes to play the long game with alot of its clients and take its sweet time and make it a very miserable and dreadful experience to cash them out but they have no problem taking payments on deposits to allow them to play.

888 Casino - Stalling with additional KYC
I created my 888 Casino account in 2021. I went through the initial stage of verifying my account. Throughout the years, I have played and won and cashed out. Then this past week, they asked me to verify my identity and provide source of income. I am doing that, but then I get emails asking me to do it again and again etc. I have submitted enough suffice evidence multiple times. I have screenshots and copies of emails.

The first time I submitted I got an email sating my documents were approved. Then I just needed to verify Identity. Complied. Asked to upload income again. Complied. Asked for income again. Complied.

I have uploaded documents 3 or 4 times now. I am getting the run around and now I cant even get a response. When I attempt to upload the documents, it just spins and spins. I even tried emailing.

I feel everything I uploaded was suffice and more than enough. I also sent paystubs from 11 months ago and bank statements from that time.

So unprofessional, even general loans etc see your information as adequate when you provide it.

I havent applied for a loan since I bought my car, but even that is satisfied with just a couple bank statements and banking information. Which I did provide to 888!

I think its a phony casino now. I understand "know your player" and I complied, more than 3 times now. I have nothing to hide thats why I have complied with what is being asked. Does anyone know how to review Canadian documents there?

Dont waste your time. I should have spent more time reading the reviews. I feel really bad for people who have won big and are having this issue.

It is at the end of the day, a scam.
The verify ID section wont even allow me to upload now. I email support and they aren't helping send my documents to the right people.

888 Casino - 3 out of 4 withdrawal requests still not processed and account is still disabled

I made four withdrawal request on separate dates. The First request I did was on August 8, 2025 for $820 CAD, Followed by my second request on August 9, 2025 for $14,000 CAD. Two days after of my withdrawal request, on August 11, 2025 I then received an email from Operations Team requesting me to submit a valid photo ID and my void cheque from my bank in order to carry out some additional checks.

I immediately submitted and uploaded my documents that same day I got the email. I did receive an acknowledgment email that my documents were received and it got forwarded to the competent department.

The next day on August 12, 2025 I made a Third withdrawal request of $1,322 CAD, and Fourth request of $1,400 CAD. On that same day, when I am about to play, my account got disabled and I could not login. I got worried and sad because I still have $2,580 CAD on my bank roll. I could not withdrawn or play with the casino anymore.

I wrote an email to the Operations Team informing them my account got disabled, they inform me that I have to submit some documents for verifying my account which I already did.

Following day on August 13, 2025 I received another email from the Operations Team congratulating me with my winnings and they need to validate my registration first in order to receive my payment. I got instructed to submit another documents which is copy of front and bank of the debit card that I use to fund my account and proof of billing address which is my recent credit card statement.

I immediately submitted and uploaded what they requested. Two days after the submission I then received an email that my withdrawal request is now approved and processed. Unfortunately on the email only I receive, the last withdrawal request of $1,400 CAD is the only amount processed and I confirmed it is deposited to my bank account via eTransfer the next day receiving the email.

I still have not received the 3 withdrawals of $820 CAD, $14,000 CAD and $1,322 CAD. On top of my account is still disabled and could not play. I still have $2,580 CAD on my account.

I have patiently waited for the 72 hours response time of the Operations team and I also excluded the weekends since it is not part of the business days but still I have never got a response or follow up.

The site keeps crashing and when this happens don't expect a compensation! Also money keeps disappearing from my account. Have talked to customer "service" about this but they are very rude. Avoid this website, there are many better alternatives.

This was the absolutely worst Casino Experience I've had.

I deposited money to 888 Casino for the first time 16 days ago, played for a few hours when I got a bonus on the Michael Jackson Slot and the game crashed, I received an error message saying I should contact support - and so I did.

At the support someone named Jörgen V answered and he was probably the rudest and unprofessional support person I've been talking to. I've been in the chat multiple times and he laughs at me, lying to me and keep telling me they will compensate me and come back. They confirm that it was a problem with the slot and that they shall "look into it". I've written to them several times during these 16 days and Jörgen V is constantly lying and being rude and unprofessional all the way and 888 Casino still hasn't compensated me even though they have told me they will do it in a few days time multiple times.

The platform feels buggy first no games were loading, then I got playing but the games variety offered are poor, and still, the platform lags. The support is totally inexistent on this casino. I don't think there are any humans working there...at least that is how it feels. God forbid you ever have a problem or win something and then the fun starts!
In my opinion, they should stick to poker apps or be forced to offer online chat. I don't like it when it's so easy for a casino to get a hold of your money. No verification, no documents required, nothing really. But when you win, another case! It's just a poor casino really in terms of games, feel, support! Just stay away. You are better off playing solitaire rather than having anything to do with the 888casino.

I like games and its very good and easy to play and approachable. They have a lot of games and is very attractive the sits is very good in desgin and has not error or bugs. Easy to deposit but sooooo hard to withdraw, it seems easy te get money from you but to give it back the earnings to you its a whole different story!

Customer support isn't at good at all they have so overtime response and you have to write emails a lot and get a response that has nothing in it. Hope your withdrawal goes okay but mine is still not done and tales a lot of verification I don't know why they do it when they have such a good site and can get a lot of good things from it. Just the care for the player is from 0-10 is 2 cause they at least reply email asking asking documents documents !!!

Fun games, lots of variations and frequent payouts. Enjoyable even using small deposits, great layout on site. Lots of options for different games and live casino is a bonus.

The bonus did not get credited immediately, have to keep going onto support to get them sort it out. The support is often busy / closed which makes sorting issues even more hassle.

You are telling me that the positive part of the review is too short. It should have 150 character or more. Well, I am sorry to have to say that, but there is nothing to like about a Casino that makes no effort to resolve a wire that has never arrived on your account.

Deposit money. Played Live BlackJack. Won. Requested my winnings. Winnings never arrived at my account. Complained to 888, no resolution. Made claims to Malta Gaming Authority, no answer. Made a complaint on this site, no resolution. All I hear from 888 is "we have sent you the money, contact your bank", but they refuse to instruct their bank to search for the wire, knowing there is nothing the receiving bank can do unless it is contacted by the sending bank. So many similar complaints about 888 with cash out problems to be found on the internet. What can be worse than not receiving your money?

Used to be my go to casino! I won very big here ($65K plus some others around $5K) and enjoyed playing here for about 2 years. They had excellent customer/client/VIP support at the time I was playing here.

I stopped playing at 888 because they removed literally ALL the games I liked. ALL of them. Replaced with other, less polished games or games that just did not appeal to me. They also stopped doing bank transfers for my bank specifically? Withdraw methods from there were less appealing as well.

I was super disappointed to stop playing here! VIP support did contact me and they did do a very thorough job in trying to regain my business. It just wasn't mean to be!

I'm a medium staker (1 EUR bets) and playing there since some years now. I've made some good winnings there and never had trouble with payouts. Recently the site got a new fresh design and looks better now, with a bigger selection of available games (I personally miss games like 'King Kong Fury' or Play'n'Go (eg. Book of Dead) stuff). Processing the payouts is now a bit faster, from up to 8 days down to only 3 days. All in one I'm still satisfied. It feels like the win chances are a bit better or more fair as in other casinos (because games have there RTP values, but the bank can also regulate how much the site will give back to players). But,..

..I have absolutely no idea how this daily free spins thingy works for customers. On some very rare days I made my spin and had between 50 and 75+ free spins. But in 99% of all days (over months) I'm just getting between 2 - 7 spins a day. Seems not to make a real difference if I wager a day less, another day more (if I win big, I keep playing for about 10h+ there, wagering a lot).

The deal with the free spins is that you can use them on selected house made jackpot slots. In most cases the winnings are less than a half euro. I once hit a quintuplet playing Nightmare on Elm Street which had a payout of 200 EUR. The sad thing is, this was due free play mode and I just got some bucks. Because you have first to convert it from free play into bonus money and then to wager it. Another joke is, that the bonus rules tell you 'wagering x times, except you hit the jackpot!". Well, you just have chances hitting the jackpot if you are placing big bets.

In the meantime I made on other sites some more winnings from bonus money.

I'll keep on playing there. But 888 is not the only one I'm visiting. I'm currently very satisfied playing at bitcoin casinos.
