The snake charmer is slot game made by Nextgen. I tried this game couple of times, and unfortunately it is not my favorite game made by Nextgen, and generally this game is very brutal. One of the most brutal games made by Nextgen, and it is very strange, because at first look everything not seems so hard in this game.

Game looks in same style as other Nextgen games, can't say that it looks better. But everything is enough good, even I can call it cute, because snake symbol looks funny.

There is 25 paylines in this game. I am usually playing this slot game from 0.25 to 0.50 bets, because betting higher it is not very good idea, it is not working for me. Each time I tried 1$ bets or higher I am quickly lost my balance chasing freespins and do not hit anything. Payouts is good for best paying symbol and 5 wilds, others is quite low, but if you want you can use gamble option to increase winnings from line hits. But I do not suggest to use it often, because you can find that you losing money pretty fast when you unlucky in gamble.

Freespins feature can be triggered when 3 or more scatters apppear anywhere on the reels. You will then have freegames with wild reels. By random from one to five reels will be turned wild each freespins. But the thing is that during freegames it does not work. It just appear most times on reel 4 or 5, and sometimes on other reels. Once I had 3 wild reels, and won about 50 bets only because there was low paying symbols.

So I never any wins more than 100 bets in this game. Potential is very solid, but it seems that this potential is released on super rare occasions, and if you not have any huge win - you will just keep losing money on this game.

Snakes have always been my passion. You love them or you fear them there’s no in between. I have played a lot of slots over the years from various providers which for a theme have these reptiles and my favorites are Medusa and Mount Olympus. When I first saw this game I thought I found a new friend but when I took a better look at the paytable and features I have to say I was deeply disappointed.

This game is a 25 payline, 5 reel slot and is a clone of Munchers. I can’t say that I like that game so I can’t say I like this one too. The paytable is pretty poor and the highest paying symbol has a 1500 coins payout for 5 of them on a winning payline. The wild symbol is the snake and he doesn’t offer a multiplier by itself nor does he have a multiplier in the bonus round. A big disappointment. The scatter symbol has a max payout of 100 x total bet for 5 of them and 2 of them double a win which comes in handy.

From the bonus rounds this game offers only a free spins bonus. If you hit 3 scatters on the reels you get 10 free spins. The wins here are multiplied and they can’t be retriggered. How frustrating is that? Under each reel you have a basket with a snake and it can come up to cover the entire reel and make it wild. In theory this can be a good bonus but you need 3 or more reels with wilds to get some big win.

Your balance drops very fast here when you go chasing for the bonus round. In the free spins it is very frustrating to see the last reel turn wild 5 times in a row paying nothing. You may see one or two spins with 2 wild reels and that is it. You should be lucky to get a win of over 30 x bet in the bonus round.

I don’t know when became the snake so popular animal (or just got a little better marketing?) but recently noticed more and more slot game chooses this animal for main character and builds around a product with funny atmosphere. That’s the case with The Snake Charmer from NextGen where we can see and enjoyable, humorous, cute 25-payline game.

The symbols are snake charmer, snake, elephant, dancing girl, flute and card elements and all looks great and overall the slot has a charming appearance and not just because of its name.

Snake Charmers’ game features and rules are decent but one or two could use a little upgrade. The Jackpot of the slot is 5000 coins which can be achieved if 5 Snake symbols form a winning line and that sweet figure also acts like a Wild and substitutes for all emblems. The Charmer himself is the scatter of the game and has the ability to provide a correct return if more than 4 figures appear anywhere on the reels and if it is occurred the bankroll increases with 100 times of what was used for total stake but what more frequently happens is just 3 of them land on the screen and trigger 10 free spins and during that session the Wild works in expanding format helping more winning combinations to complete.

Unfortunately, this game can’t be re-triggered and neither the Wild nor the free games uses additional multiplier number. To compensate this shortcomings the slot has a great gambling feature to offer and personally, I find NextGen’s gambling extra is the best in the business. It’s not different from the others, also uses the common Colour/Suit pairing but subjectively I had the most success on it and sound stupidity but sometimes I really feel that it can be predicted. When I haven’t much luck on normal games sometimes it really can help me out and several times I could at least recover my balance with some gambling feature using occasions but like at every gamble products the player always should know whether arrives the time to stop the game and not risk what’s already won.

Overall, it’s a very decent game with correct payouts, nice look and acceptable features. It never will be a fan favourite and never will excel in any game segments but I believe it’s definitely usable to give some pleasant times and funny moments. The Snake Charmer is nothing less, nothing more than a good, average game.

The snake charmer is one of my favorite games from nextgen. Of course i like all games from nextgen, but this one is really great, and i am usually open it right after my deposit, i will try to explain why.

Base game of course is a bit boring because even with wilds it is hard to get really big win, but i can swear that i get many times wins like 100 x my bet on this game during base game, and it is not the hardest thing, such hits come quite often.

Feature on this game is really nice and interesting, to trigger it i need to get at least 3 scatters, and there is no difference between 3 or 5 scatters , of course more scatters pay more money, but you get 10 free spins anyway. I write that feature is great, and now i explain why, every free spin random number of expanded wilds appear on reels, this number can be from 0 to 5. So this is really possible to get all reels wilds, and such hit will be insane, and probably award more than 10.000 total bet, but of course i never was even close to such hit, my best hit is 3 expanded wilds on first 3 reels, and it is paid me around 400 x total bet, because bad symbols come on 5 reel. This game had a medium-high variance, and so i had some bad streaks on it, sometimes it can show you 5 features within 50 spins, but features will be awful, without any expanded wilds, or only with 1 2 reels on last reels. And i suggest to be careful with this game, once i lost 200 euros on this game playing 1 euro per spin, without even getting feature, this was my worst experience on this game ever.

Apart from other nextgen games, this one not so nice to clear bonuses, because it has higher variance, but this is good game, and can give some decent hits even on base game, and feature can pay a lot of money in situation when many expanded snakes appear. 8 stars, games is really great.
