Wishing Cup

I guess everyone have heard of a 'wishing well' or a 'wishing fountain' right? But not many knows that there is also a 'wishing cup', as this Rival game brings about. Nah, I don't think there ever was, or is, a wishing cup, it's probably just to relate to what this game is all about. Make a wish to the cup and your wishes shall come true, or something like that. Nah, it doesn't work either. I've tried it, without any success. I guess it only works for the Rival software guys, because they were the ones who came up with this idea.

It's a fairly new game from Rival, playing with the usual 5-reels 3-rows 25 paylines, but the graphics look like it came from some years ago. Nothing to be surprised about, because Rival games have yet to come forward in time, to match the outstanding graphics quality of the others. The Silver Cup is the Wishing Cup, it is the Wild symbol in the game, but it is a dumb Wild symbol, in that it only expands upwards from where it lands on the reel, and only does substitution for all symbols. It doesn't pay anything for itself, nor double any wins. The Face is the Scatter symbol, paying a very low 15x the total bet for 5 of them, and getting 3 or more of these Scatters trigger 7 free spins with a Wild Reel on reel 3. The Free Spins game can be retriggered. This is typical of Rival's Free Spins offer, just 7 free spins without any multiplier, so getting nice good wins can be a rarity.

The top 3 paying symbols pay as scatters, not on paylines, but must be on adjacent reels, starting from reel 1 to reel 5. The Pharaoh Scatter pays 2000x, the Wolf Scatter pays 1500x and the Eagle Scatter pays 750x, all per line bet for 5 of each kind. The other lower symbols pay from 600x to 65x the line bet for 5 of each kind. A very low paytable.

I wish I can say something nice about this game that I like, but there aren't any. The game is slow in moving, the animations are simply too slow and waste lots of time, and on top of that, Wishing Cup plays very boringly! Why? Because the very low payouts don't even excite, the Free Spins games are really a waste of time, with payouts of not even 10x my bet amount! The 2 Free Spins games that I manage to get paid a blardy low 5x and 7x. Sheesh! And that took a long time to come too, not to mention the amount of credits it had eaten. Hmm, this Wishing Cup game is good for the all-year-long winter games in my deep freezer!
