What happens when you add a little uranium to the world’s fish supply? You get Nuclear Fishin', a zany five-reel video slot from the Rival Gaming platform! Don’t be scared away by these mutated underwater creatures – they could be your ticket to big cash winnings. Play Nuclear Fishin’ for free on this page, or go to any of our listed Rival Gaming casinos to play for real money.
Before you cast your line into this strange sea, decide how much you want to bet. The - and + buttons under the coin symbol will allow you to set your coin denomination. Click “Select Coins” to change the number of coins on each payline. You can also use “Select Lines” if you do not want to play all 25 paylines. Hit “Spin” to start, or use “Bet Max” to play with all lines enabled and 10 coins per line. Or, push “Auto” to spin continuously within the limits you set.
During the main game, your goal is to just get matching sets of fish from the leftmost reel to the right along the game’s paylines. The Nuclear Warhead symbol is the Jackpot symbol and will pay out 5000x your line bet if it appears across an entire payline. Wild Swimmers expand across the entire reel they appear on (either reel 1, reel 3, or reel 5), seriously boosting your winning odds.
There’s even more to be won under these toxic waters! Get three or more scattered Radiation Barrels to initiate the game’s deadly bonus round. Or, get some scattered Starfish to trigger the free spins feature. Three Starfish award 5 spins, four award 10, and five award 25. All wins in the free spins round come with a generous 3x multiplier!

With a game title that reads 'Nuclear Fishin', I was expecting a game that would play with sea creatures affected by an ugly nuclear holocaust aftermath, but this wasn't the case at all. The only thing in the game that refers to nuclear is that bomb, with its nuclear symbol on it. Everything else is just normal, with a normal diver and normal sea creatures. Beats me why even call this game Nuclear Fishin', hehehe.
Presentation wise, the game looks rather muted in its graphics, lacking vibrancy and attractiveness, but perhaps befitting the underwater scenario I guess. Still, for a game, I would have preferred it to be more vibrant. Anyway, the Diver is the Wild symbol in this game, a non-paying symbol yet again, but expands into a full Wild Reel with any wins. It only doubles wins during the free spins, so this isn't very helpful at all. The Seahorse, the Scatter symbol, pays 25x total bet for getting 5 of them, and awards 12 free spins without any other win multiplier. Getting 3 or more Seahorses during the free spins awards 2 Super Round free spins - yep, only 2 miserable free spins! Argh! During this 2 free spins, reel 1 is a full Wild Reel which multiplies all wins 3x, if that's any good at all.
The Barrel is a Bonus symbol, also paying 25x total bet for 5 of them, and awards a Bonus Round. In this game, you are to collect as many barrels into that Collector, but oddly enough, you cannot move or manipulate that Collector's position! What the argh! You win whatever barrel falls into it, like it or not! Oh, there's one more peculiarity - the Barrel symbols only appear during the free spins, so you cannot get any Bonus game in the base game play. That's another "argh" from me!
With the highest paying regular symbol at only 30x total bet win value, with the non-paying Wild symbols, and only 25x for the Scatter and Bonus symbols, you simply cannot get any nice big wins from this game! The paytable is very low, the Free Spins games usually pay disappointing peanuts, but the Bonus games do pay a consistent win most of the time, although nothing bigger than 20x total bet amount from all my playing sessions. Needless to say, but repeating myself yet again, Rival games are really hopeless with their Free Spins games, except for a very few oldie games, like Secret Garden and Shamrock Isle.
