Milk the Cash Cow is an original 3-reel, 1-pay line slot machine and at Rival, the creative team thought it would be a good idea to choose Cow for main emblem for this slot. I don’t think any player would regret or query this decision if she/he had seen such symbols drawn over by a thin red line because the Jackpot here has a remarkable 10.000 coins prize. Of course this goal is only achieved if 3 coins are in use though a win of x2000 per coin is also a nice amount of money (in case of 1 or 2 coin bets). Cow also serves as a wild and multiplier because when substitute for any other figures it also triples the win (it’s even true if this is the only symbol on the line, then it pays like if it were the lowest paying figure and triples that prize).

The other symbols are a pail full of golden coins, bundle of bank notes and the common Bar in every variant (single, double, triple). The second best figure is the Pail but there’s a huge gap in payback aspect between this and Cow. While our animal friend works with 2000, 4000, 10.000 coins till at Pail 30, 60, 90 are these parameters. It is still extreme disparity if a Cow triples the win with 2 Pails on the other two reels (270 coins). I think something was miscalculated here by Rival. OK, Jackpot is Jackpot and pay much more I agree that but the second idol would have to reward better.
Besides the the Wild, bank notes the only other symbol that pays in itself if it appears on the middle line of any reels though in this situation it just returns the stake without any profit.

Of course under these circumstances playing with less than maximum bet doesn’t make any sense, that’s why I play usually with €0.75 and €1.50 but so far I’ve just met with Pails as the best case. The slot has great, more than 97% payback ratio, and the little wins are frequently realized but in long stretches not too much profit can be made with it at least that was my impression during my time with MtCC. If once Cow will think it another way it’d make the difference, for sure.

Until then, I think it is no more, no less than a good, average classis slot with a great potential and I believe it’s worth to look in sometimes and check with some spins how the Cow feels this whole payout things.
