I like the 3 reels and the graphics. When you do line all 3 up you can win alot. But it takes awhile before you win but you can win alot with just a dollar bet.
Its hard to line just the 3 up to all the same thing. Makes it hard to win. But when you finally do line them all 3 up you can win alot at once with just a dollar bet.

I guess all, if not most, software providers do have at least one 3-reels 3-rows 1-payline game in their portfolio, probably just to cater for the minority of old-school punters who still love this type of games. Not me though – I don’t like them, I cannot appreciate them, and they simply cannot give me the same thrills and excitement as their 5-reels 3-rows counterparts. Well, BGaming has just release their version, entitled Mechanical Orange, so let’s see how this game fares.

I was really surprised when I saw that this game plays with only 1 payline - a vertical payline and not horizontal as one would have expected. Strange, but never mind. Also, all the symbols spin in a clockwise wheel-like manner, each symbol being big in size on the outer wheel, and smallest on the inner wheel. Hmm, again, not to my liking, simply because the symbols on the inner wheel are just too small!

Okay, so what about the paytable then? Well, the best possible win is by getting 3 of the ‘7’ symbol, for a nice 1000x bet win, whilst the other symbols pay from 250x down to 2x. It’s kinda hard to compare these win values with those of 5-reelers, but nonetheless, I would say that it’s not that good anyhow, especially since the minimum starting bet is 0.20 per spin, so anything under 2000x cannot really be that good. And with only 1 winning line…oh gees!

Playing this Mechanical Orange game is okay for a few hundred spins, but more than that, it becomes really boring! With no other features to offer, all you get and see is the spinning of the three wheels, and with no Wild symbols to increase the chances of wins either. Argh! Honestly speaking, I played less than 100 spins in total, simply because I got lucky early and got a decent 100x win, then I quickly made my exit! Hahaha. Nope, sorry, but this is one game I would never want to play ever again!
