Ice Vacation Slot Overview
Set on a frozen lake, with a polar bear fishing in the background, this icy cool title from Just Slots features 20 slot paylines across a 5x4 grid. The Wild symbol is the biggest payer, and the only one that pays for matches of just two, and you’ll also find a Walrus, a Penguin, a Bobble Hat, a Glass, and a Bucket of Fish, as well as A-J lower payers.
Ice Vacation RTP, Payout, and Volatility
The standard Ice Vacation RTP is 96.28%. It changes slightly for the Buy Bonus and Hot Spin options, with the former unlocking the main feature for between 150x and 500x the bet, and the latter increasing the odds of a feature trigger. However, these options are not available at UK online casinos.
There’s a max payout of 10,000x, with the biggest payouts coming via the multipliers and Free Spins.
Volatility is high, though, so expect big swings and set your bankroll accordingly.
Ice Vacation Mobile
Ice Vacation is fully optimised for mobile devices, and if you think the visuals are striking on desktop screens, wait until you see them on a high-resolution smartphone or tablet device. The controls are a quick thumb tap away, and the game plays smoothly whether you’re using an Android or iOS device. Try it on your mobile device with the Ice Vacation free play mode.
Ice Vacation Graphics and Gaming Experience
We’ve seen plenty of fishing-themed games in our slot reviews, but few as colourful as this. The cartoony style may not appeal to everyone, but it gives the game a quirky vibe, while the Mystery Symbols make base-game spins more interesting. The gameplay builds up to the Free Spins, but we had a lot of fun in the base game thanks to the Wilds and Mystery Symbols.
Ice Vacation Bonus Features
Ice Vacation features Mystery Symbols that can appear in both the base game and the Ice Vacation Free Spins round. They land as undesignated symbols and then turn into the same symbol type at the end of the spin. They can also carry multipliers of between x2 and x100.
Mystery Symbols can transform into every symbol type except the Scatter. If they turn into Coin symbols, they’ll award instant payouts of up to 100x.
Ice Vacation Free Spins Feature
You need at least three Scatters to launch the Ice Vacation Free Spins round, triggering 10, 12, or 15 Free Spins. Mystery Symbols become sticky during the feature, so if they land, they’ll stick around for the duration, gradually accumulating multipliers and then turning into another symbol.

Ice Vacation Slot Summary
The Free Spins round is definitely the standout feature in the Ice Vacation slot machine, but the same could be said for most online slots, and the base game also has its merits. It’s colourful, bright, quirky, and packed with Wilds and Mystery Symbols that can land at any time and trigger sizeable multipliers and payouts.
The music is upbeat, and we loved the chilled-out polar bear doing his thing in the background.

A slot from Just Slots and so let's start with the good points, the mystery symbols when they land can reward a big win and they are fun especially when they are sticky during the free spins feature. Then you just wait to get more of them and for higher paying symbols to show up in them or even those golden shells which if combined with a multiplier could pay 10000x. Getting 10 free spins for 3 scatters is ok but you would get 12 free spins for 4 scatters and 15 for 5 scatters but what would the chance of getting a natural 5 scatter trigger in thousands to one. The feature teases are fun , especially if you get scatters on first two reels, aka a mega tease.
The music and sound effects are just fine as one would expect and makes the game enjoyable to play with the sound on and music on.
I found that during my real money play where I played almost 5000 during a contest, received just 5 features and best paid 413.8x.
As for the RTP that is with this slot, I played the 94.26% version and had decent amount of play on it but still under 80% overall.
the bad: the mystery symbols land so often in such a way to miss a win by not matching up with other symbols, and that is so frustrating and combine that with the feature frequency being over 800 spins so far on average is insane. The first feature took me 2102 spins to get (by the time I had done 2102 spins on Shadow Pirates I already had 14 features just for comparison, great game by the way that Shadow Pirates), something I have never experienced on any other slot including all the megaways. It could have to do with it that I was playing the 94.26% RTP version which if you compare it to the 96.28% RTP demo version there are feature frequency differences. If you think getting 3 scatters is tough then 4 scatters or 5 scatters is even tougher. Now because getting the features is so tough and the base game so brutal, many players will be forced into doing those hot spins or bonus buys and I have tested the bonus buys and hotspins in demo about a 100 times on various 3 scatter/4 scatter/5 scatters and 3 scatters often beat 4 scatters. Hotspins make a huge difference if you play with it on you will get multiple features during a 100 spins easily even though it costs 3x normal bet. In fact if it wasn't these slots having those options of hotpsins and bonus buys we would then be getting a better feature frequency doing base spins like slots in the past. But the way the slot industry has gone is to force players into paying more just to experience a feature. One other thing about the features they can pay 0x or under 1x, this is extreme volatility. During bonus buy testing I did see a 0.4x and during real play I had a 0.7x and one other member had a 0x. Can you imagine doing 500 spins or more and then getting a 0x or 0.4x or 0.7x. Oh and one last thing the losses disguised as wins (LDW's).. 1 cent wins on 10 cent bets...
