There was a time many years ago when I played a similar frog game. The frog needed to cross a river, so it had to jump onto logs that were floating along in the river, one log at a time, until it could reach the other side. At times, the poor frog would end as a meal, because it had jumped onto a crocodile! Hahaha. Some game that was, hah?! Well, this is a similar game from Rival, except that the frog isn't crossing a river now. It's crossing a busy highway, with cars, buses and lorries running by all the time, and of course, at times, it would end up as a pancake. Nah, that's only in the introduction bit of the game. Nothing of that sort ever happens in the game itself. Hmm, but maybe it should?! Hehehe.

So okay, in this game, the Frog is the Wild symbol, as if you cannot guess. It expands with any wins, it doubles all wins with it during free spins, but sadly not in the base game, it substitutes for other symbols except the Scatter symbol, but it doesn't pay anything for itself. Argh! The Dozer is the Scatter symbol, paying a very low 10x the total bet for getting 5 of them, another argh, and getting 3 or more of these Scatters trigger 7 free spins without any multiplier but with a River Rapids Round. Getting 3 or more Dozer symbols during the free spins award the River Rapids Round of 7 more free spins. The Free Spins game cannot be retriggered. Dang! As for the other symbols, the Bus, the Lorry and the Car pays from 750x to 450x, whilst the other lower symbols pay from 100x to 40x, all per line bet for 5 of each kind. During the River Rapids Round, the Crocodile pays 1000x, the Snake pays 400x, the Tortoise pays 250x, the Log pays 150x, and the Wasp is the Sticky Wild symbol, awarding 1 Respin for every new Wasp appearing in any winning combinations. These Sticky Wilds only remain in the current spin.

I wasn't really satisfied with the way the Wild symbol expands on the reel. It can only expand upwards, meaning, if it lands on the top most reel, then it has no space to expand, thereby remaining as a single Wild symbol. Landing on the middle row would make it expand one space upwards, and landing on the bottom reel would turn the entire reel into a fully stacked Wild Reel. But this isn't good enough. I would prefer it to expand into a fully Stacked Wild Reel each and every time, because it doesn't pay for itself and it doesn't double any wins in the base game, so at least it should become a Stacked Wild Reel to make itself more valuable.

Personally, I think special features of this slot are quite attractive, however, I do not think the paytable is strong enough to pretend to sustain your balance in the long run; it is possible that following a stroke of luck some player can get a big win and then leave the game with some profits in his pocket, but that was not what personally I experienced throughout my session, for my part, I fell into a slump from which I could not recover despite having accessed to multiple rounds of free games and a couple of River Rapids rounds; I just think that mathematics that governs this game do not favor much the player.

Overall, I think “Frogged” slot is equipped with enough elements to be a pretty fun game, but in my opinion, opportunities to be successful playing this video slot are minimal and for that reason, I would not consider this slot as one of the best options when playing at a Rival casino.
