Blood Suckers Review - Editor’s Impressions
The digital Blood Suckers slot machine is one of the older slots released over a decade ago. With vampires, counts, weapons, and more on the reels, this slot delivers a blood-curdling experience as you spin the reels. However, we took it upon ourselves to test its gameplay as we do with all online slots reviews.
During our test cycle, we landed frequent small wins in 100 spins. The bonus game was triggered twice, but small wins were awarded each time. However, we found that two Scatters landed frequently, but the Free Spins only activated once during our test cycle.
In our Blood Suckers slot review, we explore the bonus features, game mechanics, characteristics, and more. Join us as we look at what makes this slot an excellent option for players in the UK.
Overview of Blood Suckers Game
This NetEnt slot is one of the brand’s older games but remains a popular option. It reminds us of classic slots with five reels, three rows, and 25 fixed paylines. This game has a wide betting range from £0.25 to £50 per spin.
The symbols reflect the chilling story of vampires and their feasting on the blood of their victims. The high-paying symbols are four different vampires. Meanwhile, the low-paying symbols are various items to fight the vampires with, like a strange elixir, a bible, a crossbow, and garlic.
The bonus feature is a bloody stake and hammer, while the Scatter is a vampire bride. The Wild shows Dracula biting a woman and it can substitute all the symbols except the Scatter and bonus.
Blood Suckers RTP, Payout and Volatility
UK players will be excited to hear that this game has a high RTP of 97.99%. However, its volatility is low, which means while wins are likely to land more frequently they will be on the smaller side. This slot has a maximum win of 1014.6x your stake.
Blood Suckers Graphics and Gaming Experience
Due to its age, the design is slightly outdated, especially when you compare it to the graphics of the sequel Blood Suckers 2. It features spine-chilling designs of various vampires, with dark reels and eerie background sounds. The wind blows in a dark back alley, where shadows seem more ominous, and blood drips from the necks of victims.
NetEnt aimed to create a creepy design for this slot and succeeded, especially if you consider the winning symbols’ animations and the sound effects. As we can see with the vampire’s appearance, it explores the lore behind various famous vampires such as Dracula and Vlad the Impaler.
Blood Suckers Bonus Features
The Wild symbol also has a payout attached, which ranges between 0.20x and 300x your bet if two to five land on a winning payline. However, what makes this game exciting is that it’s a slot with bonus rounds. The feature triggers when three or more bonus symbols land consecutively on reels, starting from the leftmost one.
The feature will take you to a burial chamber with multiple coffins, and your job is to kill vampires. Clicking on the coffins will open them to show vampires, which you stake and earn a random cash amount. You can keep doing this until you get an empty coffin where bats fly out, which ends the bonus feature.
Blood Suckers Free Spins
Scatter wins are multiplied between 2x and 100x depending on how many you land on the reels, though only three or more will trigger the Free Spins. When the vampire bride begins the feature, you’ll get 10 Free Spins. You must click on the continue button to start the Free Spin feature, but the spins will play automatically.
During the Free Spins, all wins are tripled and you can retrigger the feature, getting 10 more Free Spins if you land another three or more Scatters.

Summary of Blood Suckers - Slay Vampires with a 97.99% RTP
The Blood Suckers online casino slot offers everything you could want in a vampire-themed game. It shows the vampires you’re fighting, provides you with various weapons, and features two bonus rounds. The Free Spins triple your winnings, while you can take matters into your own hands with the Vampire Slaying bonus feature.
We recommend that you consider this bit of advice before you play the game at an online casino. Low volatility slots might mean that wins land more frequently, but these wins will be lower. Try not to fall into the trap of chasing your wins and losses, as it can steadily build to a significant loss if you keep playing.

Like I've mentioned in some of my other reviews, the zombies and vampires are a very popular theme these days for software providers like NetEnt and Microgaming. I think they try to engage an audience as broad as possible, and are of course inspired by popular tv-shows like The Walking Dead and The Vampire Diaries.
I do however think that Net Entertainment could have done a better job with the slot Blood Suckers. I've played Blood Suckers a couple of times, and I couldn't say that I was really impressed with the features nor graphics. Unlike Microgaming's Immortal Romance where I do think they made the perfect slot, this NetEnt vampire theme based game isn't all that unfortunately.
Blood Suckers has 25-paylines and 5 reels. The symbols consist of simple images of several vampires, witches, bloody hammers, books, garlic and potions. In addition the game features wild symbols on every reel to help you complete winning combinations.
The background melodies are kind of boring, and I also feel like they could have done a much better job here as well. Anyway, enough about all that since it's all about the wins right? Blood Suckers has two type of second-level bonuses. One of the bonus games starts when you hit 3 bonus symbols on the first 3 reels.
The bonus game ironically takes you to a room full of caskets. Every time you open a casket a vampire gets stabbed, and you collect a small prize. The bonus game stops when you come across an empty casket. This game might be exciting a little bit, but it fails to award big prizes. On average it pays 10x bet size and rarely 20x or 40x bet size, when you pick the right caskets.
There are also scatter symbols which can appear on any reel. At least 3 of them are needed to win 10 free spins. The number of scatters doesn't matter since they still award the same amount. During free spins the wins are multiplied by 3x though.
I've had the free spins on a couple of occasions. The most I've won was 90x my bet size, but in all honest I haven't played this game that much to reach full potential. I find it too boring for my taste.
My final rating for Blood Suckers is 5.5/10.
