It is true that in general Rival slots are generally of weak quality (at least in my opinion) and the slot “A Day at the Derby” is a good example of how NOT to be for a slot. At a total minimum bet of 20 cents/20 paylines, the biggest payout I ever had for 3 same symbols was 30 cents. And I had this payout very rarely. It is true, I won twice around 1.5 Euro but in 95 % of the cases the wins were of 3-10 cents once every 3-4 spins! As I said, for 20 Euros gambled in 100 spins the loss was over 9-10 Euro.

And the only source of good wins is the Bonus game, and this if you are lucky enough to bet on the winning horse, from 3 horses. So that if the horse wins the virtual race you will get 10 Euro that will offset all previous looses (but if it comes on the last place you will have 2 Euro and on the overall you will lose money). The Wild symbol (“Brown Horse”) and the Scatters triggering the Free Spins (3 “Blue Jockey”) are here very, very rare. In 300 spins I never got a round of Free spins.

I got very bored playing here and I had not had any real satisfaction. I am sorry, but as I said this IS NOT how a true slot should be.

I tried this slot with some no deposit bonus i get, I usually with those bonuses try new games , this time it was this Video slot. As usually i started playing with 1$ per spin as this slot is 20 lines and i don't like to play with lower bet than that. My balance from bonus was 25$ and my first 7-8 spins were nothing , i didn't get even those little wins.

Soon after that from nothing i got into a bonus round. In this bonus round you have to choose from three horses in a race , my first pick was horse with number 7, this horse was damn slow lol :) so i just won 10$ as he finished third . Two spins after that i got another into the bonus and my next pick was also slow and third on a race so i gain another 10$ and now i was on 35$ . I continued playing with 1$ and manage to play pretty long time not raising or dropping my balance from 30$ until i got again into the bonus round and this time i picked the right one and got 50$ . So as I always do after i decent win i usually raise my bet this time I raised it to 1.40$, after that as a lot times before I started loosing , so until i lost everything i did manage to get into another
bonus round and this time i finished second and got 35$ , i did not manage to get into free spins feature so i don't have experience with it :)

For me this slot is really worth trying as in this relatively short time i played it i managed to get a lot of times into a bonus round , all i needed was a little luck :)

This game mostly took my money but when it was a good mood I get many nice bonus rounds and winnings on it. It has 20 line so the minimum bet is 0.2 euro but I mostly played on higher limits because on the minimum stake it gives only cents. I started here with a 28 euro bonus money with relatively high bonus wagering requirements so my starting bet was 1 euro. The spins ended fast but almost the last spins I get the free spin feature, when I triggered the 3 horse rider symbols I started the free rounds. It was very small amount of free rounds because it gives only five free spins for 3 scatter symbol. If you collect more than 3 you will get more free spins. I think that feature is only a decoration because I never get a higher amount from it even I played more than 2 euro each spin.

The most valuable feature here is the bonus game. When I triggered the 3 tan horse I started my bonus game. I was allowed to choose between from 3 horses, I always pick the Hungarian horse because it was named from my country. Sometimes it brought my luck. When I picked a horse the race was started, you have to win the race to get the biggest prize but many times it was very hard. I get that bonus rounds a few times in my game play and I collected some money but I never had a serious winnings on this slot but the horse race is compensate the base game low pay outs.
