I must confess that "World Match" has not been one of my favorite providers, in the past I have had no good experiences with its games and especially many disappointments with bonus rounds and other special features built into many of its slots, except a couple of them perhaps; well, this company seems to have evolved a bit in this respect, just a little, and in its slot "Monte Carlo Jewels", WM seems to place on the table a completely different proposal, a 5 reels diamond -shaped slot with 3- 4-5-4-3 rows on each of the reels, the first slot of these characteristics I've seen so far of this brand. There are peculiarities in this game no yet assimilated totally by me, for example, I initially thought hitting average of this slot would be incredibly low as 20 paylines not seem sufficient for a diamond-shaped slot, and for this reason practically all lines of the slot are semi-straight, however, I see that WM has solved this problem by including stacked wilds and further setting these symbols to appear at relatively frequent intervals, and the result obtained by this is that "Monte Carlo Jewels" is becomes a more dynamic slot of what one might have thought at first, additionally I can see that WM has included a greater number of symbols with images of gems than with letters, meaning this that a greater number of higher paying symbols are rolling all time on the reels, thus the player obtains better quality payouts most of the time.
Still, what worries me most about this game is its high dependence on wild symbol, so for example, during the round of free spins, it seems that the activity of the wilds decrease, making it a little interesting round, even I only remember having obtained fairly interesting earnings on one among about 10 rounds of free spins that I could trigger during my entire session, these rounds are always of 10 free spins independently whether you get 3 or more scatters, and I remember a couple of them finished with zero profit, and except for the single round with median earnings, profits during the resting rounds were between $ 1 and $ 2 in total per round and here I clarify that all my bets were made to the minimum level allowed by this game.
Awards granted to me for bonus rounds seemed not so low when you consider the standards that World Match has handled for special features in many of its slots, so that this round it may be said that this company has slightly improved its position compared with prizes awarded through special features of previous slots.
In short, the good performance during the base game exceeded my expectations but still the special features of WM are not so exciting in my opinion, even so, my results were slightly positive, but keep in mind that I did not use any strategy of increasing and decreasing levels of bets, so in general terms, I think this slot is a good addition made by WM to its portfolio of games.
