When I first started 50's Pinup I was impressed by the visuals and sound effects that greeted me. The user interface was simple to use with multiple options for betting, it may be my lazy side speaking but I particularly enjoyed using the autoplay feature. I did find that when I decreased my bet things started to lose excitement and the wins were not popping up as frequently but this is obviously going to be the case when reducing lines! Play flat to the mat is my way and in this game it worked well and kept me on the edge of my seat waiting for them beautiful winning chimes.
All in all I found this game exciting, enjoyable and most importantly of all it kept my balance in plus figures. For any streaks of losing my bets there was always reasonable winnings to counter them, enough to suck me into Max Bets, which again has an easy One-Click feature on the interface. The game itself was enough to keep my eyes from straying off screen (until I got hungry and availed of the convenient autoplay once again) and I will have no hesitation in returning for more time on this slot
I did find that after an hour of playing this game I did not invite the musical effects with such gusto but lets face it, the speakers are easily turned down and the game did lose some of its charm without these sound effects to heighten your winning senses. Some of the music would have sounded more in place in a spaghetti western but again who plays a game such as this for its quality soundtrack?
The visual effects leave a lot to be desired, especially when entering a game called 50's Pinups, I was not expecting nodding dogs either side of my screen wrapped up in some ivy.
