Their requests for documentation when you want to increase your betting limits are intrusive. They request different documents in separate emails, not all at once, and multiple times to ensure they take as much time from you before giving you a resolution.
The resolution is usually their initial decision, and they will portrait it in such way to make you believe they changed something to your account, but they did not.
"Self-imposed limits" are imposed by Pokerstars and not customer. You, literally, do not have control over your funds, if you hit any winnings. They will not increase your deposit limit even with proof you have funds. They say these limits are temporary. But they are forever if you circumstances don't change. In my case, they setup a limit of USD200. If you deposit £100 and win £50, you have to think twice before withdrawing the £150. Otherwise, cannot deposit more than £40 for the next 30 days, even if you only want to deposit the £50 profit you made. God forbid making £400-700 at once (which happened several times within the last 12 months), so if you feel lucky at a later date you cannot make any deposit more deposits. If you make a profit your only two choices are: keep the money on the Pokerstars account or gamble the profit straight away. I am thinking about going to my local MP or Gambling Commission, in regards of this matter.
Their app and website games go down several times a week. When you contact customer service they waste your time asking you to send log files and clear browser cache, and do useless troubleshooting. Only one customer assistant was transparent enough to admit there was an issue on their end after contacting them 10-15 times.
Someone else made a good point about how rigged the poker tournaments feel, particularly, based on how often you lose a hand down the river.
