BetPat Casino - Cheeky verification process and not executed withdrawal

Hello askgamblers,

I deposited 500 euros via Skrill at betpat on 30 July 2021 and then exclusively placed sports bets. From this deposit, I generated an account balance of €2139.32, which I wanted to pay out to my Skrill account<removed email> on 14 October 2021. From that day on, BetPat's strange procedures began, which continue to this day. After the withdrawal request, they sent me an email asking me to send numerous documents (passport, address proof, selfie with passport) within 48 hours, otherwise my account would be blocked. On the same day, I sent the requested documents by e-mail. For the address proof, I sent BetPat a government-issued residence registration and a credit card statement from my Raiffeisen bank. I blacked out the payment transactions, as only the address is relevant, and saved the document again and sent it to BetPat.

I then received this e-mail from BetPat:

"Please confirm the document from:

Raiffeisen bank card services is genuine PDF and original format from the bank as proof of <removed address>."

So it was a problem for BetPat that I did not send them the original file but a blackened document. For this reason, I subsequently sent them the original document without blackened things. Ridiculously, they wrote "Our system has picked up irregularities with the documentation supplied. We are investigating this further, and will revert back when we have more information, after further checks. This is in line with our AML policy and international standards.” In addition, they suddenly blocked my BetPat account and I could no longer log in!

I told them I didn't understand, what is still their problem, as I had provided all the documentation needed. Furthermore, I asked them to carry out my withdrawal finally. After a few days I then received a new mail from BetPat with the subject "Shared AML Conclusion 419580509". They informed me that two "red flags" had appeared in my verification process and that my withdrawal could therefore not be carried out. One "red flag" was the aforementioned "problem" with the blacked out areas in my credit card statement, which is why it was not the original file for BetPat. As I said, I sent them the original credit card statement file a short time later. The second "red flag" also referred to the credit card statement and read as follows:

"(...) the document with the statement date is 20 September 2021. and the file name is the day before, 19 September 2021.

(...)

Please explain how this date can be the date before ?"

So the second problem for BetPat was that the original name of the bank's file in the document properties includes 19 September 2021, while the statement date directly on the credit card statement is 20 September 2021. I wonder what I can do about this, as it was not me who wrote this date as it was an original file. By the way, this is the case on every of my monthly statements from my Raiffeisen bank. I explained it to BetPat by e-mail:

"The reason why it says 19 September 2021 in the title of the document here is because the accounting period was from 20 August 2021 to 19 September 2021. Thus, 19 September 2021 was the last day of the accounting period and Raiffeisen Bank puts this date in the file name of the document. I always receive the statement by e-mail from Raiffeisen Bank on the next day after the completed settlement month. This day is the statement date and therefore 20 September 2021 = one day after the end of the accounting period.

(...)

Once again: The file name and the date in the file name are assigned by the author of the document, Raiffeisen CardService, and not by me."

I was thus able to completely clear up all the strange misunderstandings. BetPat then informed me: "Thank you for your response. This will be considered in our analysis of this case, and we will revert back to you." After several days of not hearing anything from BetPat, I wrote another email and asked when my withdrawal would finally be made. However, I only received the following reply: "We are still analysing this case, and hope to have an answer for you soon.” After another two weeks where nothing happened, I wrote to BetPat again on 7 November 2021 and threatened them that I would publish their cheeky procedures if I did not receive my money soon.

The answer I received was the following:

“We are analyzing the additional information you sent, and as mentioned previously we will revert back to you with our findings.

As you can imagine this case is out of the scope of ordinary AML checks due to the variation on this "statement date & meta information having a questionable date in the metatag of the adobe document, and confirmed knowledge that you can edit adobe documents, previously supplied" This documentation that you produced when requested, is taking extra time for further checks, to come to a conclusion that is in line with our AML and international policies, Please note the continual threats of demand will not bring resolution faster will not make our findings or timing faster in your favour, please note we want to close this matter off as much as you do.”

Since this mail from BetPat on 7 November 2021, I have heard nothing more from them and I have also still not received my money. My BetPat account is also still blocked. Since I still haven't received my Skrill withdrawal after more than two months, I decided to contact askgamblers. I am an honest player and have done nothing wrong and have cleared up all misunderstandings (which were actually only created by BetPat). I ask you to help me in this matter. I hope to receive my Skrill withdrawal of €2139.32 as soon as possible.

After I won the amount, I requested the following payouts, which also correspond to the daily limit of € 1,000 and the weekly limit of € 5,000 (7 days). Everything about Mastercard, because you can only withdraw with the method you paid in with (as in almost every casino):

None of these payouts were executed and were always in the transaction history with the status "New". The first from February 8th was on "Complete", but no money was received. I always asked in the chat and always got the message that this would be passed on to the responsible department. I would get an answer via email.

Unfortunately no email arrived.

On February 16 the responsible department gets in touch and informed me that they have problems with the payment via Mastercard. The € 1,000 that was marked "Complete" has been credited back to me.

I should withdraw my money via bank transfer. So I applied for 8 x € 1,000 and 1 x € 670.

All payouts are now on "Complete", but only 1 x € 1,000 and 1 x € 670 were paid to me on February 17th. credited to my bank account.

Since February 17th I am now waiting for the remaining € 7,000 and get no answer. So I've been waiting since February 8th. on my money and nothing happens.

BetPat Casino belongs to the SG International group of casinos, and I am a part of some of the casinos which belong to this family. This casino opened its doors in 2020 so it is fairly new. I believe there were many new comes for 2020 due to Covid 19 and the fact that online gambling has become popular due to the world being on lockdown.

This casino has a lot of games and many providers. You will find the biggest names here with Push Gaming being my favorite, Relax Gaming, PG Soft, Play'n Go and there are plenty more. The games operate smoothly with no real issues.

Depositing at this casino is a breeze, however, I did encounter issues, in the beginning, depositing with an Astropay card. For some reason, the card keeps on declining, which in the end I gave up and support could not find a resolution. When using other methods everything worked fine.

They have a decent welcome bonus and great other promotions as well, but at times their bonuses require huge deposits to claim 50 or 100 spins you need to deposit like 50 or 70 euros. Only the welcome bonus required 20 euros, after that it's difficult to claim promotions if you a low roller. I remember I once claimed 50 spins which required a 500 zar deposit, however, I deposited 20 zar short, as I did not read the terms, and the bonus was not added. Support did eventually just credited it.

Support is good and very responsive but at times it can take a while before they assist and connect you to an agent and then it times out where you have to leave your details. I think the time out is like 3 minutes.

Verification takes 48 hours – Why this still takes so long I am not sure and withdrawals are said to be within 24 hours but I have not tested this.

They sent me SMS's from time to time with 20 wager free spins on Razor Shark, Book of Dead – So you do get a lot of no deposit spins from them no wagering required, not sure about max cashout either.

No real reason for 1 star reviews on a casino like like this. It plays so well! Intuitive design, terms and conditions are clear, and frankly I don't understand what OPs are talking about. Does it have the same issues like all online casinos? Yes. Anything worthy of putting in the negative box? No. It works and pays ok. Thats all I care about.

The site is clear, there are many games and the site is very fast.

Loss limit allows a player to set the maximum loss limit for selected period. There is always a possibility to change the loss limit, but it takes effect according to.
This loss limit must be requested by email.
However, if you do this you get the following answer:
"This is part of our responsible gaming terms, additionally following on from your request for a Loss Limit of € 1, this is not possible, losses are your responsibility, we can set a deposit limit, if you wish."
For me absolutely incomprehensible and dubious.

Also, the withdrawal limits are a joke.

A lot games, good website, fast verification and payments, not too bad bonuses! This SG casinos always the same they have good loyalty but is not that good to play longer in this casinos!

As I said a lot providers but the most are low RTP and support always is like we not control this bla bla, but they get that deal with providers to generate more profit and is so hard always to manage good balance to play and enjoy with this cold and low versions of slots :) I will never come back!

Lots of game providers, very fast website, very good interface. Excellent deposit bonuses, and regular promotions with quite acceptable wager requirements. Customer service is available and response time is fast. Fast KYC.

I did not receive an email about the success of KYC. I can't comment on the withdraw because I haven't had a chance yet. Loyalty to the player I find a little neglected. There was a casino where for half as many losses as I spent on this site I got a milestone bigger goodwill bonus (100 free spins, €100) than at BetPat casino, which was 50 free spins with a maximum payout of €100. Despite the fast customer service, it is so poor quality. The customer service staff didn’t read what they had corresponded with the player, so I had to explain three times in the last period what I wanted.

Betpat is new casino owned by SG international n.v.The casino has a nice green layout and theme as well. The site runs also pretty smooth, so there is no lagging whatsoever. After my registration, I asked support agent about the verification time frame and I was told it would take around 24 hours. After that, I decided to proceed to my first deposit, in order to take advantage of the welcome bonus. On the first deposit, you get a 100% bonus and 50 free spins. On the second one, you get a 100% and 50 free spins. Also, casino offers a good variety of promos from time to time, so it is pretty good. I had a good time playing here, eventhough I did not have the chance to make any withdrawal.

I will definetely try again in order to make a good win. Betpat, also offers a big variety of software providers. So big thumbs up for that as well.
