The Super Eighties is a video slot operating on the NetEnt software platform. The slot features various colourful symbols and imagery characteristic of the 1980’s and the wild card is the 80’s Wild symbol, while the scatter is the 80’s Lady symbol. Multiple wilds will line up to create Stacked wilds. Players are welcome to try the slot on this page for free or play the game for real money in any of the listed NetEnt casinos.
In order to try the early mobile phones or listen to the music on a walkman, players should regulate their bet first. “Bet Level” adjusts the level of betting and “Bet Lines” is used to alter the number of enabled paylines. Pressing the “Coin Value” button selects the coin size, which ranges from 0.01 to 0.5. The “Spin” button initiates the game, “Max Bet” spins the reels at the highest bet and “Auto” turns them multiple times in a row without any interruption.
When 3 scatter icons occur on reels 2, 3 and 4, 5 Free Spins are triggered. During the Free Spin feature, all coin wins are accompanied by a x2 multiplier. 3 more scatter symbols pay one’s total bet times 2 and result in 5 additional Free Spins. Once the Free Spin round is over, the total win from the feature is added to any wins from the round that activated the Free Spins.
The appearance of 5 wild cards on an enabled payline will win players a jackpot of 1,000 coins.

Okay, so we come to the third and final identical game three - The Super Eighties. The last two games, The Groovy Sixties and The Funky Seventies, were rather disappointing games, to say the least. There wasn't anything in those two games that could attract me, or keep me playing for longer periods of time, so I wasn't expecting anything different with this Super Eighties game. After all, they all share the same paytable, and all have rather uninteresting graphics, so one game is as good or as bad as the other.
Briefly, yet again, the Wild symbol has a very low payout of only 1000x the line bet for getting 5 of them, totally unlike any other NetEnt games, and getting 3 Scatter symbols also has a lower than usual win of only 2x the total bet, thereby making me more positive that these 3 games were not from the usual NetEnt game designers, or not even from NetEnt. Triggering a Free Spins game by getting 3 Scatters would award a disappointingly low 5 free spins with a 2x multiplier, more free spins can be retriggered, but with only 5 extra free spins per retrigger, they could hardly make much difference in the final payout, as I have found out, after playing this game over the years. The other symbols in the game have even lower win values, from just 400x down to 100x the line bet for any 5-of-a-kind win. A totally disappointing paytable!
Getting a Free Spins game is the only good thing to look out for in this game. The base game payouts are usually not of much good, even with all those stacked Wild symbols on all 5 reels, simply because the regular symbols themselves cannot pay big! During the free spins, the 2x multiplier is also lacking in 'oomph' to produce any good wins, but nevertheless, it is still possible to get wins of 100x or more, but bigger wins than 200x the total bet seem almost impossible to get! For a low/medium variance game, I was totally disappointed in how difficult it was to get any Free Spins game from this The Super Eighties game!
Would I play again on any of the three identical games? Nope! I would rather let them participate in the eternal winter Olympics in my deep freezer! Hahaha.
