The gameplay is easy, since it is a 20 line game, that means pretty much you can easily get connections. Also the minimum bet is 0.20 cents, which is a great thing for someone who likes to bet low.
Also, the game has multiplier wilds, so in the base game you can easily have a big win at least. Now when it comes to the bonus, in order to trigger it you need to bring 3 scatters in the first the third and the fifth reel. Now when you trigger it, the game brings you to a place with a dog pulling a lever, in order to see how many free spins you won. There are boxes there, that reveal 1,2,3 free spins. Then every free spin you assembled gets gathered up and you get your free spins. Usually its between 11 to 15 free spins from my personal experience. Now, in the bonus game all you have to do is bring wilds in the second the third or the fourth reel. If you manage to bring as many wilds as you can, then get ready for some big wins, because the wilds are all sticky and multiplied. The Dog House is a game that was released earlier this year by Pragmatic Play game provider. To be honest, I only heard about this game after seeing a few streamers playing them live on stream and it seemed somewhat interesting, so I decided to give it a try myself.

The game is inspired by the very literat name of it- dog house. The main, highest paying symbols are several dogs and other symbols are letters and dog accessories. From design point of view it's definitely not my favorite game, it is easy on the eyes but looks quite childish. I do like the simplicity of it though- it has 5 reels and 20 paylines and only a free spins bonus round, no additional features, unless you count wilds as features.

To be honest, I'm not a big fan of this game after having a few sessions on it. Reason for that being is that I haven't had any decent winnings on it. In the base game you can have 2x and 3x multipliers and if they are combined with top symbol, it can pay something decent, but it doesn't happen often from what I've experienced. The free spins are also quite a hit or miss- when you trigger free spins you will see how many spins you've got, it can be 9 or more, I usually get 11 or 9. The free spins ahve no multiplier but the goal is to get the wild multipliers quickly as they work as sticky wilds. I believe that's when you can get major wins, however, in my sessions I've managed to get maximum of 2 mutlipliers combined with low paying symbols. Only once I managed to get both 2x and 3x multiplier with top symbol for an over 100x bet win, which is sadly my biggest win on the game so far.

Overall I think this is a decent game but it's not a game I would play much. I have had sessions where I would lose my entire balance within few minutes as the game is quite volatile. People love dogs, and people love dog games too, except for some people like me that is. I’m more of a cat-person really, if you know what I mean, hehehe. Anyway, this game from Pragmatic Play should make many players happy, especially big win hunters, as it offers a maximum possible win of 6750x the total bet, which, to me, is a more reasonable game to play than one that offers a 30,000x or more maximum win possibility.

The Dog House plays with the standard 20 paylines but has a starting minimum bet of 0.40. Argh -why needing the double cost per spin I simply cannot reason out! It’s a high volatility game no doubt, but it doesn’t need to start with 0.40 bet per spin, does it? The win values of all the symbols aren’t that good anyhow, with non-paying Wild symbols, and the top symbol paying only 37.5x the total bet for 5 of them. The only good thing is that the Wild symbols have either a 2x or 3x multiplier, and they add up for wins of up to 9x.

A 9x maximum multiplier isn’t that much, so I really wonder how that 6750x maximum win can ever be achieved! From the free spins perhaps? Most likely, yes, but no retriggers for more free spins are possible, so you’d really need to get all 9 Sticky Wilds (they do not expand) on reels 2, 3 and 4, and also get as many initially triggered number of free spins as possible. Without them, the payouts from the free spins cannot ever be big, only mediocre!

Well, my few sessions on this game did not give me any nice big wins, as expected, and the best that I could get was only a 160x win. However, those Sticky Wild symbols do appear quite regularly during the free spins, so that wasn’t disappointing in a way, but the number of free spins that I had managed to get were only 13 or less. That really makes me wonder how the heck to even get a 1000x win, much less the indicated 6750x maximum win! Yeah, it may be possible, but don’t ever count on getting it though!
