The big dog house is a 5-reel 3 row slot from Pragmatic play based on the dog theme. The game has 6 premium symbols with the highest paying 37.5x your bet and the lowest paying 5x on the connection of 5 symbols of the same kind. The card symbols are the lowest paying symbols and they pay from 2.5x to 1.25x your bet. The game has wild symbols with multiple features and you may land any one or a few of them together on any spin. The first wild is a wild symbol that covers just one spot. The second type is biggie wild which when lands covers and entire reel and the final type is the colossal wild which is a 3x3 symbol. These wilds can only land on reel 2, 3 and 4 with multiplier values of 2x or 3x.
The game has three types of bonuses and you can land all three from the base game. Landing 3 bonuses with red scatter will give you a normal bonus where you can get anywhere from 9 to 18 free spins. In this feature all wilds that land will be sticky unless a ghost wild lands on reel 5. When the ghost wild lands it will remove any one of the wilds. If you land three scatters and if at least one of them is the green scatter you trigger the biggie bonus. During these free spins you will only land the Biggie wild. Landing the ghost symbol on the 5th reel will remove a wild. If you land at least one blue scatter in your bonus trigger then the ghost symbol will not be part of your feature. The normal bonus can be bought by paying a price of 100x your bet and the Biggie and ghost out bonuses can be bought for a price of 200x your bet.
This is probably my least favorite Dog house slot from the series only because of the ghost out feature. The base game doesn’t pay the way other slots from the series and you get lots of of dead spins. The provider has added over 10 feature bets which makes the game look like a medicine cabinet.
The bonus lands every 300 to 400 which is almost double of what was advertised by the provider. The game has too many feature bets and this has disrupted the normal gameplay and also how the bonus payout. Every time you build up a good set up during bonus the ghost feature takes away the wild.
