NetEnt is very fond of producing games with non-paying Wild and Scatter symbols! There's already quite a number of such games, all of which are not to my liking at all, and a number of other game providers have even followed suit, even Microgaming! What the argh! What this does is that these games can no longer produce nice good wins of 1000x or more, not like the old games could, so these games are certainly not for the big-win hunters. Mythic Maiden is no exception! All my plays on this game only gave me very poor and low payouts, from 1x up to about 60x my bet amount. Nothing more than that. Yeah, yeah, I do know that bigger wins are indeed possible, but only if you can get them with that elusive 10x multiplier during the free spins play. I got that 10x multiplier appearing once or twice, but none paid anything! Sheesh!

Never mind about the base game - good decent wins can only be achieved if won with the Wild symbol, which triples all wins with it. All other wins tend to be peanuts. Like I've said earlier on, the Wilds don't pay anything, and the Scatters don't pay anything either. The Free Spins games start with only 10 free spins, up to 30 free spins if you manage to get it with 5 Scatters, but the payouts depend greatly on what that Iron Maiden could offer you. Why this Mythic Maiden game couldn't get my interest so far, was simply because of the dreadful wins that I had gotten! In one instance, it took over 670 spins just to get one lousy Free Spins game, but what did it pay me? A damn unbelievable 1x my bet amount! Sheesh! That put me off the game instantly, and I didn't play it anymore after that incident. It reminded me a lot of that Wild Desire feature that paid me nothing 3 times in a row, and only 1x when it came for the 4th time! As with that Immortal Romance game, this Mythic Maiden game also got dumped into my deep freezer for keeps!

Here's another NetEnt game that looks thoroughly fantastic on my tablet screen - the detail in the graphics is really excellent and the animiation particularly smooth even by NetEnt standards.

A large chunk of the RTP in Mythic Maiden is tied up in multiplied wins which suggests this is a very high variance game. In fact it is possible to win up to 30x the win shown in the paytable if your payline includes a wild symbol (3x multiplier) during the free spins where the maximum multiple goes all the way up to 10x! This is obviously a rare event though and requires the "Iron Maiden" to randomly activate the 10x multiplier after your free spin. This doesn't happen very often but extra spins and lower x3, x4 and x6 multipliers do happen fairly regularly.

Unfortunately not everything about Mythic Maiden is first class - there's my common gripes of no paytable win for the scatter and wild symbols, plus the five of a kind base game symbol wins are quite low and seem don't seem to drop in very often at all despite the 30 paylines. In many ways this feels more like a 9 line game with lower payouts which probably isn't a good thing at all.

Whenever I come to review a game I will try a hundred spins or so at minimum coin size, max bet, just in case I've forgotten any important details about the slot. With this game I was left thoroughly jaw dropped at the huge difference in my balance - not only didn't I see the feature once but must of had around 80% dead spins too. Of course I play enough slots to know that a hundred spins is nowhere near enough for a representative sample, but it does give you an idea just how brutal this game can be!
Nevertheless it's great to see a higher variance game from NetEnt and playing it again here today has overall reminded me how much fun this game can be.

The base game is interesting enough and the pay outs while I was playing it were good. Sometimes really good. This is because of wild symbols. The wild symbols substitute for all symbols except scatter symbols and all bet lines wins with wild symbols pay x3. I think at this game wild symbols are really good. Every time when I had them on the reels the winnings were good. They raise your winning combinations a lot.

The free spins feature is also good. I like it. When three or more scatters appear anywhere on the reels the feature start. You can win up to 30 free spins for all five scatter symbols. And additional free spins can be won during feature. In free spins feature iron maiden is open and can reveal a multipliers of up to x10 or additional free spins up to 2 free spins, after each spin.

I had a couple of times free spins feature and I really like it. The main reason is because it has good potential on winnings. There is x10 multiplier which is really great. I never had any winnings which were over x 100 bet, I think the reason is because I do not play this game often. Maybe I should play it more often, because it is very nice.

I will rate it with 9 stars. I like the theme in this game, I have not seen many horror themed video slots around. And I like unique themes. I think I will play this game more often in future and I hope I will manage to get win over x100 bet.

Mythic Maiden is a slot game provided by Netent software that I explored only recently. It has really spooky theme with skull, spider and other mythic elements and I believe it could also fit great into Halloween theme. This game has 5 reels and 30 paylines and a free spins bonus round.

The minimum bet for this game is 0.30€ per spin and since I've been playing this slot, I rarely place higher bets. Just because otherwise this game can be a money eater, when hits a dry run. What I really like about this slot is it's simplicity. When the design is a little over the top, the technical aspects of this game are simple and I am a fan of that. In this game you can see wild symbols, which are displayed by beautiful full moons and they substitute for all symbols, except scatters and multiplies winnings 3 times. And then there are scatters, which trigger free spin round, whenever 3 or more scatters appear anywhere. Mythic Maiden is a 30 payline, 5 reel slot coming from NetEnt. This slot has a medieval theme with the maiden as a main feature in the game. Most of you know that the maiden was a torture device with spikes in it and prisoners were locked inside it resulting in a slow and painful death. A pretty dark theme for a slot game but it can produce some great wins. The graphic is descent and the slot has an older look, but it has some great animations.

There are a few interesting features in this game. The wild symbol can come on all reels and it has a x 3 multiplier attached. Mythic Maiden it is slot made by Net entertainment, I played this slot probably only couple of times, before last year Halloween time, when few casinos use this slot for their offers, like awarding freespins for wagering on it and few others promo.

This slot looks awesome, nothing to add here, all symbols and animations are awesome. Sounds are also great, so I am always playing this slot with enabling sounds. This was my mistake in past, most time I just listen music and switch off sounds but after I start using sounds while gambling - things become much more interesting.

This slot has 30 paylines, so min bet here is like expected is 0.30. It is not so low and same as Microgaming 243 liners, but still this game deserve at try even with such bet size.

There is wilds with x 3 multiplier, and to my pleasure game broke my expectations that wilds appear rare, in this slot wilds land often, and sometimes slot give good and big wins even without feature. Freespins feature triggered by 3+ scatters. During freespins feature there is special bar on the screen, and for each spin there is random multiplier. I am not sure which is highest possible, but I had x7 multiplier for my win once (was just 4 of a kind + 3 of a kind, but paid very good and I saw big win animation). Also this bar can award couple more freespins.

Overall experience with this slot is good, I have nice playing on it and few very big wins. Nothing insane, but good wins like 40-50$ with min bet was good for me, and I like this game.

It has given me some great line hits and great feature wins. It has kept me entertained for ages and when I was down money it brought me back up. I play this game on 888 and the minimum bet is perfect for me. It can make you serious amount of money and then I usually try on higher best. But so far my best result was on the smallest bet.

Very good that wilds at this slot pay with x 3 multiplier, during freespins multiplier for win is random, up to x 10.

Also during freespins slot can add +1 or +2 freespins, but it is very rare event, does not wait lot of freespins here. The soundtrack playing at the background of the slot is equally responsible for maintaining the thrill. I really loved the sound effects and animation of the slot.

The slot does not have any bonus game. The slot has wild which can substitute any symbol expect the scatter. The symbol of the wild is beautifully characterized which is in the form of a moon which transforms into skull regularly in fraction of second. In the first 100 spins I managed two three good wins the best among which was of 225 coins when I betting at 30 coins per spin at a coin value of 0.01. Then finally came the hard triggered free spin feature. Three scatter symbols appeared on the reels and warded 10 free spins. In this feature an iron maiden tomb opens and awards multipliers the maximum awarded is of 10 x. But I was awarded with just 2 x multiplier. I made in 618 coins in free spins when I was betting at $0.30. Immediately after free spins I made two good wins of 309 and 322 coins. Seeing this I decided to play further and made 100 spins hoping to trigger the free spin feature again. But I could not and even my account balance lowered. I always thought NetEnt successfully solved a problem with Mythic Maiden and was able to turn it to their advantage. The situation seems to me as if they hadn’t any real idea what to do with the next slot game and in what subject around, and while creating this game they took the components away from somewhere else, from other slots of their palette and mixed it all in one complete game.

From the background image and the grinding sound of a door I could imagine they belong to a ship that sank long time ago and had all the stuff that wait for to be valued. I didn’t find a common ground between the symbols which are treasure chest, animal skull, spider, head of ancient warrior, a book in a mummy like hand, a moon that turns to a skull (Wild), and the uncategorizable scatter. The mythic maiden refers to a locked, sarcophagus like coffin that displays all the time on the right side of the screen.
The original story says it’s a very experienced adventurer’s attic and all the relics and keepsakes he collected from all over the world can be seen. Well, if I look at it that way it can make sense but it’s a little forced to me, not that it would matter too much.

Anyway, the layout, the graphics are superb but talking about a NetEnt slot it’s almost evident and as I see it they really caught the moment with the half-light in the back.
It has awesome free spin feature which is the only side game her. During the original given 10, 15 or 30 free spins the Maiden is unlocked and randomly reveals multipliers and/or additional free spins to every winning. The multiplier can be between x2 and generous x10 and it pays relatively well especially if we don’t forget the Wild from the extra games that also add its own to the total.

Everything is always positive whenever I win on this slot. The full moon wilds are what contribute the best in winnings.....it tripled any combination it lands on. Now I don't mind that this full moon has a skull or a face for a matter because it aids very well when I bet for $0.90 - $1.20 bets a spin! Mythic maiden online video slot is another one excellent representative of net entertainment slots portfolio. I played this game couple of time, so make this review will not be hard for me, i have enough knowledge about this slot to judge it.

First of all, mythic maiden this is 30 lines video slot, and honestly i did not know how to say on English about theme of this slot, but let it be horror slot :P Also graphic and sounds on this slot machine are nice. And did not forget about ambiance sounds! Moreover, for those of you who love to see wilds on this slot, there is plenty of them, and for 5 of wilds you will get extremely high payout. And of course typically for net entertainment wilds on this slot have a nice x 3 multiplier. This slot also had an free spins feature, which triggered by 3+ scatters, 3 scatters award 10 free spins, 4 scatters award 15 and finally 5 scatters hit gives you 30 free spins, which is nice of course. Free spin feature is unique, because every spin you get random multiplier ( up to 10x, at least i never saw bigger, but who knows...). Also you can be awarded 1 or 2 more free spins, so i think playing your free spins in this slot is always interesting and nice.

I play this slot couple of times, and i can say that i make some profit from this game, nice thing for me in this slot machine, that apart from many others net entertainment slots, you did not need free spins to get big win. This review is dedicated to the slot Mythic Maiden from Net Entertainment. As we all know Net Entertainment has a lot of slots, and each game is very different in format, theme and gameplay. The same basically goes for Mythic Maiden. The theme of this slot is quite spooky and it shows through the used symbols of this game, including spiders, books, treasure chest with skulls attached to them, voodoo heads, skulls, evil moons and the same goes for the background image.

Mythic Maiden has 30 paylines in total spread over 5-reels. The minimum bet is only 30 cents, but I played this game on 90 cent bets during a brief session experiencing all features. After reading the paytable I did have high hopes of this game though, but unfortunately I was left disappointed most of the time.

I must admit that the base game does reward prizes very often though. This slot could be good option for bonus grinding since a lot of spins are hits, smaller hits. My biggest win during base game was only 25x bet size. I haven't played this game long enough though, so please don't use this as a reliable measure.

Mythic Maiden also features wilds (evil moon symbol) which multiply winnings by 3x. I did however experience two free spins rounds, triggered by 3 of the scatter symbols. I got awarded 10 free spins to experience this second level feature. 4 or 5 scatters means that you'll receive 15 or 30 free spins.

The beauty of the free spins is that there is a random multiplier all the way up to 10x and also additional free spins can get awarded. With those high expectations I really thought something crazy would happen. My first free spins session was a catastrophe though only winning 10x betsize and the multiplier never got higher than 3x.

Just as I thought of giving up another free spins round rolled in. Maybe better luck this time, but just like last round I only managed to win 13x bet size and only small multipliers being awarded.

I'm sure this game has potential but apparently not me during that session.

I'd give Mythic Maiden a 6/10 rating.
