Devil’s Delight Review - Editor’s Impressions

If you’ve ever wondered what hell looks like, the Devil’s Delight slot will give you a taste of it in a cartoonish and fun way. You’ll experience meeting with the devil himself and even work for the Grim Reaper.

The Devil’s Delight slot machine is one of the classic slots that offer a distinctive theme. The design impressed us, as it delivers the quality of a classic slot yet shows an innovative approach by using the devil as its main character. The other features we appreciated was the Grim Reaper bonus game and Sin Spins Free Spins.

If you’re brave enough to see everything the underworld offers, read our Devil’s Delight slot review to prepare yourself for what's coming.

Overview of Devil’s Delight Game

The Devil’s Delight game by NetEnt shows you what it is like to work for the Grim Reaper. Due to the nature of this work, you’ll have to visit hell and meet other demons through the 5x3 grid with 20 paylines. You don’t have to be too scared when playing the Devil’s Delight, as the game has more than a cute fun look rather than a scary one. The drawing style is cartoonish, so the demons will appear adorable yet cunning as they work surrounded by the burning fire.

Like many games in our online slots reviews, you’ll find a Scatter and a Wild symbol throughout the hellish journey. Devil’s Delight also features some Expanding Wilds and a Free Spins feature. Besides those features, you’ll also help the Grim Reaper collect some souls through the Soul Reaper bonus game.

The gravestones with Q, K, and A are the lower paying symbols and the medium paying ones are the skeleton hand rolling dice, a devil heart, and a flaming 666. They all pay for at least three matches while the highest paying symbols in the four demons pay out for two matches. The lady devil is the highest paying symbol in the game.

Devil’s Delight RTP, Payout and Volatility

The Devil’s Delight RTP is 97.6% with medium-high volatility. You can stake £0.20 to £100 per spin.

Devil’s Delight Graphics and Gaming Experience

Although the Devil’s Delight is a classic slot, you’ll find more than one animation that made the game graphics complex. Besides the base game, you’ll also find a different grid with different symbols. The Soul Reaper bonus games also creatively plays out like a casual video game with a storyline that will trigger your ambition to become the Grim Reaper’s employee of the month.

Like most retro video slots, you’ll find Devil’s Delight without any music when you play. When you hit a successful combination, it’ll give you subtle sound effects akin to land-based machines and louder, short music when a win occurs.

Devil’s Delight Bonus Features

The Boss Devil symbol works as a Wild that can substitute other symbols, except Scatters and Bonus symbols. In the bonus games when the Wild lands on reels two, three, and four and completes a winning combination, it’ll expand to cover the entire reel.

Besides the expanding Wild, you can help the Grim Reaper work when the Reaper bonus symbol lands on reels three, four, and five. The slot will take you away from the base game, and you’ll find five people standing on the side of a street. On the left side, five balls of flame represent five of the seven deadly sins.

You must drag the sins to match each character representing each sin to obtain a cash prize. If you pick the right match you not only get a cash prize but collect their soul in the soul metre at the bottom of the colourful screen. Fill it up and win up to 500x your stake but If you guess the wrong sin, the bonus round will end.

Devil’s Delight Free Spins

You'll trigger the Free Spins game when three or more pentagram Scatters land on the grid. You’ll also get additional spins and multipliers while in the free game. Unlike in the base game, two Scatters are enough to give you more spins or multipliers. You can be awarded up to 17 Free Spins and a multiplier up to 5x the stake.

There’s another Free Spins feature called the Sin Spins. You’ll receive 10 Free Spins and play with only the seven sins symbols. You trigger the Sin Spins if you’ve collected at least 15 souls through the Soul Reaper bonus game. The souls are kept in the metre for 48 hours and the bet size for the Sins Spins will be the average of the bets for the collection of the 15 souls.

You can try out the Devil’s Delight slot demo on our site to understand the game better.

I only came to realise that this Devil's Delight game is actually a clone of the game Secret Code, and of a few other similar games too, with identical features and identical paytables, but with different icons. In this Devil's Delight case, there is also an additional feature game called the 'Sin Spins' game, with its own separate paytable, but we'll come to that a little later on. I don't really know which game came first, Secret Code or Devil's Delight, but that's not important.

In both games, all the Wild, Scatter and Bonus symbols are non-paying. Argh! Imagine how many winning chances have been removed by this simple omission! Getting 5 Wilds or getting 5 Scatters would pay nothing at all, and that is one huge disappointment for me! One of my main target has always been trying to get those 5 WIlds and 5 Scatters during the free spins, but this is now completely out of the picture. The Wild symbols are Expanding Wild symbols, only appearing on reels 2, 3 and 4, so no chance of ever getting any 5 Wild Reels, and they don't double any wins either. Sheesh! More disappointments!

A Free Spins game has always been my favourite feature to look out for. With Devil's Delight, the number of free spins and multiplier is randomly awarded by a pick on one of the Scatter symbols, the best being only 15 free spins with a 3x multiplier. Whenever 2 Scatters land during a free spin, pick one of the Scatters to reveal either more free spins or an additional multiplier. Getting 3 or more Scatters retrigger the Free Spins game with the same number of free spins. However, all the extra free spins do not get any multiplier, including wins from the Bonus and the Sin Spins too. Argh! Again, more losses in winning potentials!

Honestly speaking, the Free Spins games are not too bad, but the Bonus games are mostly disappointing, producing only low wins from the pick-and-match feature game, a feature that I have never liked. The Sin Spins on the other hand, can produce some good wins, but you need to collect all 15 Souls into the Soul Meter to play them. These Souls are collected and accumulated from each of the Bonus game played, so it does take a while to trigger the Sin Spins, but worth the long wait! Anyway, Devil's Delight can be a good game at the right times, but those Bonus games could certainly do with better payouts!

I certainly don't want to go to hell, but when it comes to Devil's Delight, which is the aforementioned hell, then I don't mind. I love its theme, symbols and graphics. Even though its theme is hell, it is comically designed and looks really nice to me. All symbols are devilish in this game. When I saw a soul-o-meter, I started laughing from the bottom of my heart. I thought perhaps it means you might meet your soul-mate here, and then I realized that's not true. It should be something about taking souls and bringing them to the underworld and mistique hell. This slot is fun to play. It's a 5-reels 20-paylines slot which comes with a decent paytable. I am sure you will like to hear that payout for the highest paying symbol is 4000 coins, and second thing I like is that payout for the rest of the symbols is 1000 coins.

Sounds really good. I wasn't lucky to collect the Stacked Wilds but made some wins. It appeared several times on reel 2 and also on reel 3 and 4. When it comes to Scatters, it will trigger a Free Spins Bonus round, the number of free spins awarded being random, as well as the multiplier too. Like I had previously mentioned about the soul-o-meter, well, if you trigger a Cash Bonus game, then you will be forced to start killing people and collecting their souls in order to bring home some cash. The Bonus symbol appears on reel 3, 4 and 5, and if you manage to collect souls, they remain saved for 48 hours from the last spin. You better get ready and don't wait for that devil to come and take your soul. In order to trigger 10 Sin Souls Free Spins, you must fill the soul-o-meter with 15 souls first. I had come across this slot several times before but never gave it a serious try. No doubt I will be back to play it again because I simply like this game very much.

When I hear the name Devil's Delight, the first thing that comes to my mind is that this game is often excluded from bonuses and I somehow never played it for more than a couple of spins. Recently I had spare money and I was in an exploring mood, so I decided to focus on this game to see, maybe if it'd become my new favorite.

From technical aspects this game has 5 reels and 20 paylines, but it is full of surprises as it has more than just one feature. Visually this game is dark, inspired by devil's and underground theme, that being said, this game doesn't give me any bad emotions, I think design and symbols there are clever.

I had a long session with this game and I played with minimum bets only and I have to say I found many things I liked. First of all I really enjoy the fact that wild symbol looks like devil and whenever it's in a winning combination on reels 2, 3, 4 it expands. It helped me both in free games and base to get decent winnings. Secondly, although the bonus round with soul collecting seems harsh at first, it reminded me of how all of us have some skeletons in our closets. Although it's a pick me bonus, where you get coin wins for correct results and souls that collect for sin spins, I didn't get bored after getting this bonus dozens of times.

Another thing I liked was the fact there were two kinds of free spins, one were collected from reapers bonus round, other came from 3 or more pentagrams. And depending on which pentagram you choose, you would get either smaller amount of spins with higher multiplier or the other way around. But 2 pentagrams on free spins would give either more spins or higher multiplier. In most of the free games I received 10 free spins 2x multiplied and from two scatters I would only get extra free spins, but it's still great, so if I started out with 10 free spins, I managed to play around 20 with those extra.

For me the most fascinating part is sin spins, which are collected from souls. They give 10 free spins but there are sin symbols, not the ones on base game. But the best part is that the sin spin winnings are also based on bet amounts, so in my case overall feature win was around 8$ as I played only with minimums.

Overall I think this game is unique and it should be tried. It has many features and they are displayed in a very interesting way, I think the payouts can be good too, my biggest win so far has been over 60x bet on free spins, but I think it can give much more, as there is possibility to get extra multipliers and spins. At the same time, this game definitely isn't for everyone, I think many can find the design too dark, but I will continue to play this game from time to time.

Devil’s Delight is 20 payline video slot from NetEnt software company. I like design into the game, it is nice colored game with devil theme. I think this game is very popular at players and it could provide some big winnings.

The base game is quite interesting because it offer expanding wild mode. Wild symbols on reels 2, 3 and 4 expands to cover the entire reel. I had this many times, it appears quite often and I like it. I never had more than one expanding wild.

There are also bonus game, free spins feature and sin spins. Bonus game starts when you have three bonus symbols on reels 3, 4 and 5. I never got this bonus game, maybe the reason is because i played this game only for a short sessions, a few times. The free spins feature is good, three or more scatters activate it. In free spins two or more scatters activate additional free spins or multiplier up to x5. I had this feature only once, but the result was not the best. But I think it could provide some good winnings.

There is also sin spins. Collecting 15 souls will start this feature. 10 spins are awarded at this feature. I lost quite good money before I trigger this feature and it dissapointed me. I expected bigger winnings here.

After all I think this is very good game. It offer really nice features and bonus games. I do not play this game often. The reason is because in many casinos it is prohibited to play it with the bonus money. And I played it only a couple of times with my own money. I would like to play it with bonuses too sometimes, but I do not want to break any of casinos bonus rules, so I prefer to play other games with bonus money.

Devils Delight is an interesting game coming from NetEnt. The game for a theme, well basically has hell for a theme, which is very interesting and gruesome at the same time. The slot has a descent graphic and animations and the symbols have a funny cartoon design. Overall this is a fun slot to play.

The game has 20 paylines and 5 reels with a descent paytable. The highest paying symbol awards a win of 4000 coins and 4 of the main symbols have wins of over 1000 coins for 5 of them on a winning paytable. This is a solid paytable so wins during base play are usually medium and you can have an occasional big win. The wild symbol comes expanded when substituting in a win and only lands on reels 2, 3 and 4.

The scatter symbol in the game trigger the free spins bonus and you need at least 3 of them on the reels. Here you get a random number of spins with a random multiplier up to x 5. Usually the multiplier is very small but for every pair of scatters in the bonus you can get additional free spins or extra multipliers. This game also has a cash bonus which is triggered when the Reaper lands on reels 3, 4 and 5. Here you basically kill people by matching the sin to the person and in that way you collect souls and win coin prizes. If you collect 15 souls you get 10 sin spins in which the symbols are the sins themselves and they have a bigger paytable.

This can be a fun game to play. Usually the free spins award wins of 50 x bet and the cash bonus can awards 20-30 x bet wins. Just match the sins with the look of the persons and you will surely guess at least 3. The sin spins can award nice wins and the most I won was 60 x bet. Overall a descent slot to play.

Devil’s Delight is a another interesting slot game by Net Ent game providers. The slot is jam packed with features and is sure entertainment to play. Although the graphics of the slot are ordinary and even the soundtrack is not that good. But the returns of the slot are just remarkable.

I could not resist to share my experience of the non-ending free spin feature which got triggered soon after about 50 - 60 spins I made. It started with the appearance of three scatter symbols on the reel. In which I had to choose one of the three scatter symbols. Firstly I was awarded with 10 free spins and 2 x multiplier. And from those 10 free spins I made 29 more free spins and from 2 x multiplier to 5 x multiplier. Isn’t that awesome? This happened because in free spins, two or more scatter symbols activate additional free spins and multipliers. I was betting at 20 coins per spin and I made 2210 coins from the free spin feature. The wild in 2, 3 and 4 reels expand to cover the entire reel which is actually very productive.

Now the shit I did in bonus feature was I started playing without reading the rules. In the bonus feature you have to match different sins to different souls correctly. And there is a soul meter below the reels which rises after every soul you collect. And I could only match one sin correctly to the soul so only one soul was collected in the soul meter and I made just 40 coins. If you are able to collect 15 souls you are awarded with sin spins.

A great action packed slot and very entertaining one. The slot has good returns but yes it also has lot of idle or non wining spins. So I would rate the 9 0n 10.

Devil's Delight slot is not typical old net entertainment game, i think this game was created quite after this all clone games, because it has some new things which has big difference with old games. Okay, let see what you can find playing this definitely great game.

Devil's Delight has 20 paylines, and expanded wilds on reels 2 3 4. Best paying 5 of a kind paying x 200 total bet in base game, but due to expanded wilds on middle reels payout can be greater, but unfortunately i am a bit bad with such math, so can't count. Okay, i will try ;p At least you will have chance to smile at me: since single 5 of a kind paying 200 x bet, if 1 girl appear on middle first reel, and 1 on 5 reel also in middle, we will have 7 lines of girls 5 of a kind, and this is 1400 x total bet, + few other wins which probably will boost 1500 x total bet. So best possible hit in base is about 1500 x total bet. Looks like i am not so bad in math right? Free spins can be won by 3+ scatters, and player will be awarded by random number of free games and random multiplier. In free spins two scatters add free spins or multiplier, once i played about 30 free spins at x3 multiplier, but it pay me sick, only about x 100, not great agree? Also here is possible to trigger bonus game, it is quite fun and interesting, since some time passed, netent start do good bonus games. And after collecting 15 sins in bonus game, we start sin spins. Check it out yourself, i already told you best things about this game.

One of the most interesting netent game with medium variance. Game can pay very well, but be aware that sometimes it is just suck money.I will play this game again, i am sure with this thought.

Devil’s Delight goes around this evil, supernatural, mystic them in funny way. Though the graphics are decent somehow I feel as it wouldn’t reach the well-known NetEnt’s quality level. The symbols are jesting and we can meet with some typical recognizance that belongs to Devil like 666, the reaper and the devil itself in many forms (I guess it must be just coincidence that one of the illustration is a sexy women).

What true for its appearance, true for the game itself as I don’t think it would bring the same rewarding qualities that an average NetEnt products does. Free spins are activated with 3 or more appearing Scatters. After picking one of the Scatters it reveals the number of free spins and multiplier (7-14 spins at x1-x5). I don’t know how could get x5 multiplier because since I’ve been playing it I never got more than x3. Increasing the number of free spins is easily possible as 2 Scatters on the reels during free spins offer the option again to pick from them with the difference that this time it doesn’t add any multiplier value.

Wild (without multiplier function) doesn’t pay in itself and just substitute for other symbols but if it appears on the inner reels it becomes expanding wild. Bonus also work on that three lines to open Bonus game where we have to match sins (lust, wrath, greed…) to characters of the side game and if we have a good match we can collect a soul and it indicates on the Soul-o-meter. Every occasion when this occurred and instant prize is credited. If we collect 15 souls, 10 spins are awarded which is played with totally different figures and by payout rules. Here the best 5 of a kind win pays 5000 coins (during normal games it’s 4000).

Personally I don’t find this extra too captivating or entertaining. It’s little strange that neither the Wild nor the Scatter can’t form a winning line or can reward cash prize. I don’t remember any other NetEnt’s slot that possesses this not too positive quality. Anyway, as I said it doesn’t act as a typical game of this developer. It pays poorer, the features appear more rarely and collecting that 15 ‘items’ and go to Sin Spins is time-consuming and sometimes must have more than 10 entry to simple Bonus game to do that.

Devil’s Delight can’t become a slot that I could love. Nothing here was able to catch my eye, my taste or my style and didn’t plant a desire in me to play it very frequently. I think there are countless NetEnt slot that can give much more than this slot, being it bigger wins or more beautiful, funny interface and not speaking other parts of the game.

Devil's Delight video slot is net entertainment video slot, and of course if you experienced gambler, i should not describe to you who is it netent and what place they take in this industry ( online gambling industry, of course).

Devils delight video slot has pretty average graph and sounds, due to date of release, yes it is not new slot, but it is still very favorite by players, and i think also that this is very good slot. Theme is hell i believe, and everything which linked with it. If you are too religious, probably you should just left this slot and does not take it, because of your thoughts. But do not blame net entertainment for creating such slot, there is no such thing like religion in this gambling world. Gambling is already sin, no? At least this is my point of view...

This slot has 20 lines to deal with, and it has expanded wilds on 2 3 and 4 reels. Of course i like such slots, and also i should admit that this slot is almost exact copy of golden shamrock, except bonus game and sin spins of course. In bonus game in this slot you should choose sins and people, nothing to add, just picky game where nothing really depends on you. After you collect 15 sins, you trigger sin spins, which is the most interesting thing in this slot, because this is where nice wins can happen. Also this slot has free spins triggered by 3 pentagrams and this free spins works exactly how in golden shamrock they work.

I am not often player of this slot, but all my time i play this slot i have a lot entertainment and fun, so i suggest you to try this slot if you never do, it is really interesting video slot.

I don't really like to mess around with Devils themed slots or anything close to that satanic atmosphere at all for that matter lol. However, we do all sin every now and then so I also gave this slot a shot at several occasions. First time I heard of the Devil's Delight slot was when I read a Dutch player won a huge amount on this game.

He did however bet very high considering he was a high roller. Maybe that news item gave me some false expectations, since my experiences so far have been nothing like that. This game does offer high entertainment value though, because it has multiple options to win big. First of all there are 3 expanding wild symbols on reels 2, 3 and 4.

The devil with the suit is the wild symbol. I noticed they can pop up quite often, but completing a 5oak is still hard to achieve. Devil's Delight has 20 paylines and 4 reels. The minimum bet is 20 cents, but I've played it on 60 cents bets most of the time just like Icymod.
The symbols are nicely decorated with gravestones, 666 icon (number of the beast), devilish hearts, black cats, lady devil, monster devil, skeleton man and skeleton hands. The best paying symbol is that of the lady devil.

On reels 3, 4 and 5 the game features a skeleton man symbol which is that of the bonus round. They have to appear all 3 to trigger the bonus round. During the bonus round you have to guess of which sins several people are guilty of. There are 5 sins to choose from including: wrath, sloth, pride, greed and envy.

If they match you win a prize, if they don't then you have to move on to the next guess. The nice thing about this game is that every good guess lights up a part of the "Soul-O-Meter". I do reckon you have to play a lot of bonus rounds to fill up the whole meter though. The more times you guess it right, the quicker the soul-o-meter becomes active.

When you've lighted up all spots, you get 10 sin spins with even higher awards. Other symbols are being used during Sins Spins mode, which makes it easier to win in my opinion. Although I have played this game at several online casinos, I never managed to get to the Sin Spins mode lol. I've seen the potential though at some screenshots.

Anyway back to the bonus game. Most NetEnt bonus games are a bit silly if we talk about the prizes they award. Same basically goes for Devil's Delight, since I never hit more than 5x bet size.

Free spins were much better for me in that aspect. If you hit 3 or more scatter symbols (round thing with a star), then you must choose one of the scatters. They award a random number of spins with a multiplier. My pick was good enough, since I've received 10 free spins and a 3x multiplier. Multipliers can go up all the way to 5x.

During free spins 2 or more scatters give you additional free spins or multipliers. During my first free spins round I accumulated more than 100 euros, which equaled like 160x bet size. Incredible win! Other rounds were very decent as well, awarding me 40x bet size on average I believe.

I still want to experience the sin mode myself though. So I'll definitely give this slot a try again in the near future.

My final rating for Devil's Delight is a 7.5/10
