Bee Land is a video slot powered by Pragmatic Play software and has 5 reels and 20 pay-lines. This slot is inspired with the story about ever diligent bees. The reels are cartoonized and filled with symbols such as bees, flowers and other theme-related stuff. The reels are set against clear blue sky backdrop and they are framed in dripping honey. Before you start collecting honey with the bees, you should set your betting range. When you click on "+/-" you will set coins size which ranges from 0.01 to 0.50, and bet per line. If you click on "Autoplay" will set the number of times you wish for the reels turn without interruption and "Play" button is used to set the reels in motion after you set your bets.
Red Crown is the Wild symbol and it can substitute for all symbols in the game except for the Bonus symbol. Wild can form winning combos on its own if there are more than 2 on a winning payline.
Honey Maker is the Scatter and it if you land. If you land 3 or more of these on the reels you will trigger Free Spins. Once triggered, you will get 12 free spins and up to x10 your free spin winnings. The multipliers depend on the number of Scatter symbols you land. You can win x3, x5 or x10 total free spin win.
Flower is the Bonus symbol. Three of these on any active payline will trigger the Honey Queen Bonus game. Collect pollen, turn it into honey and bring it to our queen. You can win up to 2400 bonus points

It's probably been more than 10 years since I last played this Bee Land game from Pragmatic, formerly known as Top Game. At that time, I quite enjoyed playing the game, getting some good wins from it, and also getting losses from it too, but that's only to be expected. Since some accessible multi-platform casinos now have Pragmatic games in their list, I am able to play them again, after such a long break. I could still remember the names and the games, but most of the other details needed refreshing. Bee Land was one of these games. It's an oldie game, playing with 20-paylines, with simple cartoonish symbols of bees, quite nicely presented, but lacking in overall aesthetics and vibrancy in them. The background for the symbols are nothing but white. Still, low graphics doesn't mean it's a low quality game. To be very honest, this old Bee Land game can still beat a number of newer games in terms of payouts!
The Crown is the Wild symbol, paying 5000x the line bet for 5 of them. It substitutes for other symbols except the Flower Bonus and the Scatter symbols. It doesn't double any wins wit it, it doesn't become stacked or expanded, so is still a dumb Wild symbol. The Honey-maker machine is the Scatter symbol, it doesn't pay anything for itself, but randomly multiplies the total winnings from the Free Spins game by 3x up to 10x. Getting 3 or more Scatter symbols award 12 free spins with that random multiplier at the end of the game. Not done in the usual manner, but who cares, as long as there's a multiplier for the free spins. The Flower is the Bonus symbol, it doesn't pay anything for itself too, but getting 3 or more of these Flowers award the Honey Queen Bonus game. The Beehive pays 1000x, the Clock pays 500x, the Lamp pays 400x, the Traffic Lights pay 300x, and all the other bees pay from 200x to 100x, all per line bet for 5 of each kind, making it an average paytable but on the lower side.
The Honey Queen Bonus game has 3 levels. Firstly, pick 1 flower to win points, secondly, pick one honey-making machine to win more points, but getting a 'Game Over' ends the game, and thirdly, pick one beehive to earn the Queen's kiss and reward to win many more points, plus get a random multiplier at the end of the game to boost up further the total winnings. Honestly speaking, I feel that this bonus game can pay better than the Free Spins game, but I cannot be too sure because I haven't played enough of Bee Land to date. My former wins all came from this bonus game but I cannot recall how big they were.
Bee Land can be a very enjoyable game to play, but it can also drain away the credits pretty fast, with lots of non-paying or low-paying spins in the base game. Once the Free Spins or the Bonus game has been achieved, then things could begin to pick up from there. I like the Bonus game better because of its better winning potentials on average. The Free Spins game can pay very lowly, under 10x the total bet amount, and yet very seldomly exceeds 50x the total bet amount. Maybe individual luck plays an important role in this Bee Land game. The unlucky ones may end up losing most of the time.
