There are also other intriguing variables, but we will cover those, how to play 3 Dancing Monkeys, as well as everything else you may want to know about this new slot in our 3 Dancing Monkeys slots review.
Overview of 3 Dancing Monkeys Game
3 Dancing Monkeys is a very high-volatility online slot from Pragmatic Play. The game has five reels and three rows in the base game, but this can change if you land the right gem modifier.
The paylines in this game run from left to right and pay the highest win per line in each round. As mentioned above, it's a Chinese-themed slot, and while the design style is a little different and more cartoon-like, the symbols displayed are similar to what we've seen before.
9 to A are the lower-paying symbols. The higher-paying symbols include pottery, gold coins, paper lanterns, handheld fans, fruit, firecrackers, and Chinese writing.
The pink circle with the Chinese symbol is the Wild. It only lands on reels two, three and four and substitutes for all other symbols except the gems. You can also expect to see some red, blue and green gems.
3 Dancing Monkeys Game Characteristics
This slot has a familiar yet otherwise excellent design, with lanterns, diamonds and Chinese coins gracing the reels to reinforce the theme. The three adorable monkeys, of course, are the major selling point.
Jungle drum beat music in the background accompanied by various birds and distant jungle animals complements the game's graphics very well. The minimum bet is £0.30 coins, and the maximum bet is £150.
The maximum you can win in both the base game and Free Spins rounds is 12,077x. Once you reach this limit, your bet round ends and any remaining Free Spins are forfeited. The 3 Dancing Monkeys RTP is 96%.
3 Dancing Monkeys Bonus Features
There is quite a combination of bonus features to take into account when exploring this game and the best part is that you can trigger them all at once if you’re lucky enough – only during the Free Spins round, though.
Free Spins Features
You stand the chance of activating free spins at random whenever a gem lands on the grid. Red, green and blue gems are each associated with a different modifier in the Free Spins round. Each gem has a random chance of triggering Free Spins when they land.
When Free Spins get triggered, you’ll get 5x Free Spins per gem on the grid. Red gems trigger the ways multiplier and the grid changes to 5x5. Green gems trigger the Wild modifier which awards more Wild symbols on reels two, three and four.
Blue gems trigger the wins modifier and all Wilds will then carry a 2x, 3x or 5x multiplier. Multipliers affect all wins that pass through them. Any of these games can trigger additional gems modifiers during the Free Spins round and when it begins.
Note that there’s a Mystery Symbol that only appears during the Free Spins rounds. When it lands, it awards you either up to 42x additional Free Spins or a cash prize of up to 5,000x your bet.
The 3 Dancing Monkeys slot also offers you the option of buying Free Spins for 100x your bet. When you buy Free Spins, it guarantees you land a minimum of two gems, which trigger the Free Spins round.
All players can access this option when playing the demo mode, but your local gambling laws may restrict it in real money mode.

Summary of 3 Dancing Monkeys - A Possible Random Cash Prize of 5,000x Your Bet
Overall, based on our 3 Dancing Monkeys slot review, we think that the 3 Dancing Monkeys slot does more than enough to keep the action interesting compared to other popular online slots.
There isn't much to say about the base game, as it’s pretty standard. However, the Free Spins round takes things to the next level. During the Free Spins, you can activate up to three different modifiers by landing the different coloured gems.
There is also the option of landing a mystery prize and winning either a cash prize of up to 5,000x your line bet, or up to 42 additional Free Spins. The Free Spins trigger randomly, instead of through fixed requirements.
The game also offers players the opportunity to buy Free Spins for 100x your bet – depending on your local gambling laws. With the max RTP of 96%, we recommend any players that enjoy Chinese-themed games give this one a try.
You can play the 3 Dancing Monkeys slot demo right here or play it for real money in one of our recommended 3 Dancing Monkeys slot sites.
A slot from Pragmatic Play, and it has a Chinese theme with the three dancing monkeys being the center of it all, on a 5-reel, 3 rows and 243 ways to win. The min bet is 0.30 per spin, which is higher than I usually prefer on slots, but I still gave it a go. The max win cap is pretty big at 12,077x.
The slot has a free spins feature that is activated randomly when a gem lands on the reels, which corresponds to the monkeys on the right side, and sometimes they can activate two or more at the same time. It took me less than 100 spins to hit my first feature on this, and then it went on to pay just over 16x even though I had plenty of spins. You can get other monkeys to join in during the feature and gain extra spins that way too.
The graphics here are not taking themselves on a realism type of path, where the monkeys you are looking like cartoon characters. The monkeys get animated any time something happens on the screen, such as a gem of their color landing; they will move about rather than stay still with a wide-open smile. Symbols that are on a winning payline get animated, and I like that in a slot where you get both the animation and sound combined.
The music you get is plenty of drums and some flute-type instruments going on, but the drums for sure dominate the music heavily. I kept it on for the duration of my session. The sounds of the reels are familiar from other slots that I have played from Bragg, for example, including the winning sounds.
The bonus buy is simple at 100x your bet and gives you a couple of random gems.
I was playing the 94% R.T.P. range version, and that happens to be a full 2% under the max R.T.P., and I am thinking that the difference could be in the base game too, where the 2% difference is, as I noticed in the way it played.
There is no ante bet with this slot, which means you either go with the base game grind to trigger a bonus or buy the bonus outright for 100x. The feature can pay on the very low side, as I found out when my first feature paid under 20x.
