Last week I was reading a book about casino games and somewhere saying that we should not be led by appearances when making the decision to play or not certain slot machine since it can happen that appearances are deceiving. Well, that seems to be the case Goblins Hideaout Slot of MultiSlot company, a game with a great theme, pretty cool characters,
but with rules that leave in clear evidence the intention of clearing out the player at all costs, and although we all know that ultimately that is the purpose of all casino games, it seems that the creator of this video slot has not bothered to hide it; enough to trigger the first round of free spins to realize that something is wrong with this game, among all the slots I've ever played, which incidentally haven’t been few, this is the first one that grants rounds of only 2 free spins, and last but not least, winnings made on this round are not even multiplied by 2x, while the vast majority of slots out there give at least 5 free games and in some cases profits during these free rounds are doubled, tripled and even more. In addition, if we look at the pay table, we can see that the highest symbol after the wild, pay 25x our bet per line value, this barely covers the value of our total bet, and as it is true that sometimes simultaneous winnings on more than one active payline are obtained, it is likewise so that much of our spins produce no hit. Decent payouts seem to be reserved for 5 of a kind lines, but as you can imagine this is an almost Herculean task, especially in a game like this where all the time there are scattered symbols prowling the reels.
The only redeeming feature in Goblins Hideout is Bonus Round, which is triggered if you get 3 Bonus Round symbols located on any reel but it must be on the same active payline, and that is the reason for the constant appearance of these symbols on our screen. Still, this round is activated fluidly throughout our playing session, and it consists in choosing one to one every rats that will be blown up with dynamite by a pair of Goblins who are responsible for operating the detonator. Each rat has a number, and the first pair of equal numbers you match will be your reward in coins, and sometimes this number will be multiplied by 2x or 3x as shown on the top left spot of your screen from the moment you started the round. The minimum prize you can get here is 50 and up to a maximum 200 coins, which will then be multiplied by the value of your bet per line.
It's a shame that this game is not so sustainable; because boy does it is fun.
