Looking through its paytable, I am happy to say that the win values are as good as my old favourites of Safari Heat, Panther Moon and the likes. There are a few differences though – 20 paylines instead of 15, 10 free spins instead of 15, and there’s a Bonus game too, although I must admit the Bonus feature doesn’t pay well at all (maximum win of only 8.75x the total bet). What I don’t like most about this Bonus feature is that the non-paying Bonus symbols are actually blocking off the regular paying symbols, so that’s a dilution of wins, both in the base game as well as in the free spins game.
Briefly though, getting 5 Wilds would pay a beautiful 500x the total bet, same as getting 5 Scatters, whilst the regular symbols pay from 25x down to 2.5x. The Free Spins feature game awards 10 free spins with a 3x multiplier, and more free spins can be retriggered. Nice to see but damn hard to get, if I may say so! I could only get 1 Retrigger in the many Free Spins games that I have played, but I do hope that more Retriggers would be possible, hopefully as good as in Safari Heat or True Love. The more Retriggers the better, of course, hehehe.
The Bonus feature can also be won during free spins play, but the winnings would not be multiplied by 3x, so that sucks a bit. The many appearing Bonus symbols do not pay anything for themselves, they block off other winning possibilities with their appearances, so whatever wins from the Bonus game should have been tripled to compensate for the other winning omissions. Well, that’s one sour point on this game for me, but I still like playing Age Of Egypt quite a lot. If one day I can hit a nice 500x or more Mega Win, then I would have found one new favourite game to play, hehehe.
