I would say that almost every game provider has at least 1 Book game in their portfolio. Some can play well, some don’t, but it probably depends on each individual luck I guess. My luck mostly lie in one game only, namely Thai Paradise by Playtech. I have played so many other Book games but could hardly ever get any big win on any of them.

Age Of The Gods has Book Of Oracle (Playtech), but the minimum starting bet is 0.50 in my local currency, which is not favourable to me at all, because my usual standard bet size is either 0.15 or 0.30, depending on the game. Since I was playing at my regular local casino that day, I decided to give this game a go, just to see how well or badly it could play and pay.

The game mechanics is no different than any other Book game, with a maximum possible win of 5000x in a single spin. Getting this kind of huge win is another story altogether – it’s almost always impossible to get one, but it is possible! I’ve won it twice on Thai Paradise but never on any other game. There is also an extra Expanding Symbol in the Book Of Oracle game which can be triggered both in the base game as well as during the free spins game (2 Expanding Symbols instead of just 1), thereby giving extra winning chances.

However, my luck on Age Of The Gods series games has never been any good through all these years and Book Of Oracle was no different. I gave it a few hundred spins on 0.50 bets and could only get a measly 76x win from it. Not enticing at all, to say the least. The feature game tends to be harder to come by too, so most of my spins ended up paying nothing or getting very low wins. I did manage to get one retrigger during a feature game, but those 3 Book symbols awarded only 5 extra free spins instead of the usual 10. That was very disappointing indeed! Why only 5 and not 10?

There’s nothing to dislike about this kind of Book game, but I must say that it didn’t play well at all for me. I gave it a go, lost some money on it, so it’s bye-bye Book Of Oracle from me, probably for ever!
