Recently, I received a promotional email from Yohoo Slots Casino, with a $5 no-deposit offer, a 200% first deposit bonus, plus 50 free spins on Starburst. The promotion indicated a minimum required deposit of only $10 to claim the Welcome bonus, with a wagering requirement of 30x the deposit + bonus amount, which is quite high, but that offer attracted me enough to find out more about the casino. The first stop I checked was here at Askgamblers, and I was quite happy that I wasn't restricted from signing up.
My next stop was the casino itself, checking through their Bonus Terms and their T&C, and again, I was quite happy not to find any restrictions on my country. However, not everything was well. Within their Bonus Terms, it was indicated that deposits made via Neteller are not eligible to claim the Welcome bonus, so that broke whatever happiness I had initially. More and more new casinos are now restricting deposits via Neteller in claiming their Welcome bonuses and free spins, apparently due to an overwhelming abuse by players, but I really cannot see or imagine what kind of abuse is being referred to. Worst of all, Neteller is the only method of depositing that I use since years before, so without this facility, I simply cannot claim any of the Welcome bonuses and free spins.
Nonetheless, for the sake of that $5 no-deposit free chip, I decided to sign up anyway, to enjoy the free $5 offer. No point in wasting it away as long as my country is not being restricted. So I filled up the registration form, clicked the submit button, and a pop-up message came up. Damn! Even without reading what the message was about, I already knew what it meant. Yep, my country was indeed restricted from playing at this Yohoo Slots sh Casino, and once again, one more new casino has failed to update their country restriction list.
Ah well, no big loss for me, because the casino runs on a Nektan platform, and none of Nektan games has ever caught my interest. I just wish that all these new casinos could update their country restriction list and avoid players getting disappointed. Honestly speaking, I wasn't that disappointed with the restriction, but it certainly wasted some of my time and effort!
