There is absolutely nothing I liked. My account was unfairly blocked and my winnings denied, even though I provided full and valid proof of Canadian residency.
Discriminating against Israeli nationals despite proof of Canadian residency
I joined Casino Brango and successfully claimed a no-deposit bonus. I won $55 from the free spins promotion and attempted to withdraw it. At that point, I was asked to verify my account, which I promptly did.
Despite following the process, my verification was denied, and my account was locked. The reason given was that while my account details stated I reside in Canada, my passport is Israeli. I was then told I needed to provide “Canadian ID.”
This is deeply unfair because I have offered to provide multiple forms of proof of Canadian residency, including:
A recent Telus utility bill (major Canadian provider)
A Canadian bank statement
An old Canadian driver’s license and full driving record spanning 15 years issued by the Insurance Corporation of British Columbia (a Canadian government agency)
Despite this, the casino refused to verify me solely because of my nationality. This strongly suggests they are discriminating against players of Israeli nationality — perhaps even for political reasons — which is completely unacceptable.
Casino Brango’s own Terms and Conditions clearly state:
"The laws of the country you reside in must allow online casino gaming and online gambling. The use of the Casino Services is forbidden to all individuals living in jurisdictions where such use is illegal or prohibited. The rule is explicitly based on residency — where a player lives — not on passport nationality. I reside legally in Canada, where online gambling is allowed. Denying me access based on my nationality, despite proof of residency, is a direct contradiction of their own stated terms.
Difficult process trying to withdraw. They will hassle you to verify your account even after doing and submitting exactly what is required. When I asked to deactivate my account, of course, they didn't make it an easy process either. Don't bother with this site, you will not be able to withdraw anyway.
