Pragmatic Play Ventures Into Sportsbook With a Brand New Vertical

Pragmatic Play, one of the iGaming giants, announced late last week that it would expand its portfolio with a sportsbook vertical launch, in tune with its plans to serve as a one-stop-shop for operators.

With a sportsbook, Pragmatic Play now has a total of five verticals, including live casino, slots, virtual sports, and bingo.

Pragmatic Joins Sportsbook Universe

Relying on a team of industry veterans, the sportsbook from Pragmatic Play will cover all elements of the process “from event creation all the way through to bet settlement,” the company said in a press release.

Pragmatic's strategy to become a one-stop-shop is now a step closer to fruition with a sportsbook launch.

It will be available through a single API and completely customisable, offering a comprehensive list of competitions, markets and events and access to exclusive official data from a series of major global sporting events.

Additionally, a templated user interface will allow for an adaptable user experience, while the product will be localised to meet the needs of the targeted audience through CMS-driven curated content and translation into various languages.

An Incredibly Proud Moment

Commenting on the development, Yossi Barzely, Chief Business Development Officer at Pragmatic Play, described the launch of the sportsbook vertical as “an incredibly proud moment for Pragmatic Play.

“We are not shy of adding new verticals to our offering if we believe we can be a differentiator, and by entering the sports betting space, we’re now able to offer a complete one-company solution for operators looking to establish themselves or progress to new heights,” Barzely added.
