Mini Roulette by Platipus Gaming — Overview
If you typically avoid Inside bets in roulette because of the low probability, give the Mini Roulette game a try. It uses a much smaller layout and wheel, with just 13 numbered spaces, thus reducing the payout but increasing the probability.
Developed by Platipus Gaming, Mini Roulette is essentially a compact version of classic roulette. You can still place Straight-up, Splits, Streets, and Corner bets, as well as Black/Red and Odd/Even, but the smaller wheel means you’re not constantly chasing low probabilities on Inside bets.
Play Mini Roulette online by choosing your chip denomination and clicking your preferred bets. Everything takes place on the same board, with the wheel on one side and the board on the other. As soon as you hit play, the ball will spin the opposite way to the rotating wheel and then settle on a winning number.
As in French variations of online roulette, Mini Roulette returns half your stake if the ball lands on zero. However, in this case, the rule applies to all other bets, and not just Outside wagers. It’s a simple game—if you know roulette, then you know how to play Mini Roulette. If not, try a few games of the Mini Roulette demo.
You can play on desktop or mobile, with support for Android and iOS. All platforms feature the same simplified layout, and the smaller board means it’s legible even on smaller screens.
RTP and Limits
Mini Roulette has an RTP of 96.15%, giving it a house edge of 3.85%—lower than American Roulette but higher than European Roulette. The highest payout is 11x and comes from the Straight-Up (single number) wager, while volatility depends on your strategy and whether you opt for those bigger (higher volatility) or smaller (lower volatility) payouts.
There’s a table limit of €500, and a minimum bet of €0.25, but min/max bets vary by wager type and differ across online casinos.
