Back at the turn of this new century, online slot games were mostly very basic in design and concept, simple to play, simple to win or lose, with no need to crack our brains on how the winnings were being calculated. It plays with 5 reels and 3 rows, has no sophisticated winning probabilities, has no huge winning possibilities, and so would not be attractive to most current players. I am also not really interested in such games, but I do play them occasionally, especially when I have specific reasons for doing so, as in this instance. I want to write a review on this game, hehehe.

10 paylines with a starting bet of just 10 cents per spin is the starting point. Bet sizes can be increased, but that’s not for me here. I just want to get one winning screenshot of 50x or more, then I’m getting out, hahaha. The Ruby is the Wild symbol in the game, stacked on all the reels, and pays a nice 200x the bet for any 5-of-a-kind win. Getting all 15 Wild Rubies would therefore pay the maximum win of 2000x. Not too bad really, but trying to get all 15 Rubies on the reels would definitely be another story! Possible, but not easily.

The other regular symbols in the game are typically of the old standard fruit games, namely, the 7, Bar, Bell, and some fruit symbols, the 7 being the next top paying symbol. Getting all 15 of the 7 symbols would pay only 500x the bet, so that’s not big enough for any appetite, but quite satisfying enough for some. I certainly won’t mind getting that win for sure, hahaha.

Well, Wild Rubies isn’t really a good game to play, but could be quite an interesting game if additional features are added in, like a win multiplier, or some free spins. Anyhow, I don’t think I would be playing Wild Rubies anymore after this, hahaha.
