Treasures Of The Lamps is an Aladdin themed game, but that guy is not in this game, poor guy! It’s all about the magical lamps instead, three lamps to be precise, each with its own lady Genie, not that tough looking manly Genie as one would expect. Anyway, lady Genies make more fun, don’t you agree? Hahaha.

This is one of the few Playtech games that should have been in my favourites list, but my many plays on this game have not given me any nice big wins thus far, unlike my Magnificent Six games. It plays with 20 paylines, with a minimum starting bet of 20 cents, but the paylines cannot selected, so that’s one of the unfavourable points of this game. Almost all current games have fixed paylines nowadays, but my preference has always been for games that have a choice of lines to play with. That gives me more control over the games and my bet sizes.

Although the paytable and the win values of all the symbols are not up to my expectations, the fun part actually lies in the various feature games being offered. You can get from 5 up to 30 free spins, with multipliers of 1x up to 5x, and the free spins can either be the standard type of free spins, or of the Stargazer Bonus kind. This Stargazer kind allows you to pick stars to win cash prizes or additional picks for more wins, and I do like this feature game! The standard feature of free spins is nothing extraordinary to me, but what I don’t quite like is that those spins hardly ever give any big wins. Okay, maybe it just wasn’t my luck, but I seem to get better wins from the Stargazer Bonus features.

If you’re wondering how the number of free spins, multiplier and feature game are allocated, they are defined by the symbols on reel 1, 3 and 5. The first reel shows the number of free spins, the third reel shows the multiplier, and the fifth reel shows the feature, either the Free Spins or the Stargazer Bonus game. The Magic Lamp is the Wild symbol, with a 250x win for any 5 of them, but is not stacked, nor double any wins with it. Would have been so much more interesting if it does that.

Well, until that day when I finally do get a nice big win from this Treasures Of The Lamps game, it shall not join my list of favourite Playtech games. I may still play it occasionally, but not regularly.
