“Slots O' Gold” is a game manufactured by “Blueprint Gaming” company which was launched during the last Easter and which is one of the games in which it has implemented the new progressive jackpot from Blueprint called “Jackpot King.”

Popular Leprechauns and all objects related to these fairy stories have been taken to give life to the theme of this video slot of 5 x 3 reels, which incidentally, has been equipped with only 10 paylines, but it has been reinforced with payouts for combinations formed in both directions from left to right and right to left, and mainly by an expandable wild symbol that may appear only on reels 2, 3 and 4 and that additional to expand throughout the entire reel, gives a re-spin which enables not only obtaining a new hit, but also give the chance to the appearance of one or two new wild symbols that hopefully will mean a big win, especially if at some point we get all 3 central reels turned simultaneously into wild reels.

Personally, on several occasions I have managed to get 2 reels turned into wilds, however, my best big win in this game happened when these wild reels were positioned one next to the other, more exactly on reels 2 and 3, which meant me a payout of about 37x my total bet; this payout would have been much better if symbols involved in such lines they had been the highest paid in the game.

Other payouts mildly interesting came from combinations of an expanding wild and the simultaneous activation of the feature “Rainbow Gold,” which is that several of these special symbols appear stacked and then all they become the same symbol chosen randomly by the machine, although I must clarify that this was one of the few times where this symbol turned into an icon that would be useful for me because most of the time these special symbols seem to turn into those that do not match with others to form lines.

As for “Jackpot King Bonus” it can be said it is a supremely interesting but difficult feature to be triggered since you need 5 Jackpot King icons appear overlaying other ordinary symbols, and to give you an idea how hard it is, during my last session with this game, which certainly lasted over an hour, I got a unique spin where they occurred 3 of these special symbols, so, these awards are not part of the regular process of the game, but even yet, the possibility that you win this jackpot is always there.

On the other hand, during the base game, it is common to be subjected to very long series of dead spins that sometimes become even demoralizing, an aspect that I don’t see with good eyes, and that it does not really allow “Slots O' Gold” to enter in my favorites list.
